Frauds
Something went wrong while I was buying tickets for Das Phantom der Oper. The date of my performance was changed on me while I was checking out. They do not offer cancellations or exchanges. I called and dealt with a very hostile man who was blaming me for the situation. I have never had such a bad experience with a ticket sales company before and I really do not believe this was my mistake. At this point I doubt the tickets were legitimate anyway.

Prix de 4 billets pour le musée de Sissi 80 euros sur le site officiel facturé 135.60 eur soit 55.60 eur de plus. Quelle belle arnaque. Site à EVITER à tout prix.
The price for 4 tickets to the Sisi Museum is €80 on the official website, but I was charged €135.60, which is €55.60 more. This website is not transparent about its pricing. I do not recommend it

Stay away
Stay away. They don't sell you tickets, they "block" your funds *in case* they're able to get you tickets, and if so, they collect your money and send you the tickets. There is no assurance, however, that they will get you the tickets. They send you a "confirmation of request" which is simply that, confirming that they have seen your request. Nothing of a "scam" here, just a useless business model. Even better (i.e. worse) is that they have a phone number to call for any help needed. In our case, we needed help to know whether we would eventually receive tickets for the concert we had purchased "tickets" for, which was happening later that evening, 830pm. We had purchased "tickets" at 3pm and called just after 5pm. Their voicemail told us, however, that they are not picking up the phone after business hours (ending at 5pm)... So they sell tickets for events at many times of day, but will not provide customer service for all the events they sell tickets for. Your money and time is best spent elsewhere.
Never buy tickets there
Never buy tickets there! It's a scam. You pay double of the price! You can not reach them by phone, no google reviews!

It is a rip-off: they do not sell tickets: you have to pay for "asking them to find tickets". The site is misleading. They take the money and thereafter they send you a message that they do not have the tickets. They do not give a timing for delivering the tickets either; In the meantime available tickets sell out on official sites and you have to wait, because you may loose your money. When you complain you have to pay 20% "cancellation fee" as a "service". The info is deliberately hidden in the German T&C's (no English version available).

This is a scam site
This is a scam site - do not sell actual tickets, only “booking requests” - and they charge a lot. Very misleading website and branding. Never use them again!

Bought tickets never delivered
On May 5, 2025 I purchased two tickets on Viennaticketoffice.com for the May 6, 2025 session of the Spanish Riding School Training 10:00 AM session. The website stated that the tickets would be delivered in 2-3 hours via email
I never received the tickets and a 50,40 Euro charge was made to my credit card by “Absolut Ticket”.
At about 6:30 AM on May 6, I checked my email but there was no email containing the purchased tickets. I then sent an email to the vendor confirming my correct email, but no tickets were ever received.
I disputed the charge through my credit card company but was informed that the vendor refused to issue a credit. No response from the company after multiple attempts.
Avoid these crooks.
Learnt a valuable lesson… if you can’t…
Learnt a valuable lesson… if you can’t book your precise seat, it’s a reseller. Despite asking specifically to NOT sit in an area, we were seated there. So disappointing. Go direct - this company is a reseller.
Paid EUR796 for an exclusive VIP table - got no table - and no refund. Avoid viennaticketoffice.com
This company sold us VIP tickets x4 totaling EUR796 for a performance of the Strauss Dinner Show in Vienna in December. The venue did not provide us with the VIP table that we paid for, but instead tried to seat us at a table with other guests (the VIP tickets are for a table of your own). They tried to get guests sitting at other tables to move, but these people, understandably, refused. The venue had clearly messed up their seating plan. They failed to provide an acceptable solution and, our evening spoilt, we left, demanding a full refund - which they said they were unable to provide. My emails have all gone unacknowledged. I feel as if we have been thoroughly scammed. I only wish I had looked up ViennaTicketOffice's Trustpilot reviews in advance.
Avoid ViennaTicketOffice -Terrible…
Avoid ViennaTicketOffice -Terrible Service
I booked tickets for **Das Phantom Der Oper** on a Sunday, only to find out that ViennaTicketOffice’s ticket pick-up is restricted to weekdays (Monday to Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.). This makes it impossible for weekend visitors to collect tickets, and they explicitly forbid pick-up at the theater's box office.
Despite the high service fees, there was zero flexibility or support when I requested assistance, and their "no refunds" policy left me stranded. This service is inconvenient, overpriced, and customer-unfriendly. I strongly recommend avoiding ViennaTicketOffice. Save yourself the trouble and book elsewhere.

It's a scam
It's a scam. They sell tickets they don't have. Paid 10 000 € for new year's concert tickets that I never got.

Tickets never arrived and they wouldn’t…
Tickets never arrived and they wouldn’t give me a refund despite proof that I had had to purchase replacement tickets at the venue.
Do not use these people. Absolute rubbish
The reply I’ve just received is a lie. The office is only open Monday to Friday on the number given on the email. I called the office and got an answer machine telling me it was closed.
Do you really think I would want to pay another £160 which is what the tickets cost at the venue? On top of the £84 I had already paid to your office! Do you think I wouldn’t check every single email folder !! I’m not stupid and I don’t have money to burn.

Viennese Pickpockets
The company plays a shell game. You think you're buying electronic tickets; instead, you get the promise of a paper ticket that will be delivered to your email. I ordered tickets for the art museum, selecting today as the day I would visit. I expected electronic tickets; barring that, they should have rejected my ticket request because they wouldn't be able to fulfill it within the timeframe. Instead, they just took my money, even when I tried immediately to cancel the ticket request.
Avoid at all costs
Avoid.
Get your tickets somewhere else. Ideally directly by the organizers: you will save 20% and get your tickets right away … and would have the right support if needed.
I purchased concert tickets a Friday night for the next day … the process is not automated and when I wanted to find infos if I will get my tickets on time : I found out that the customer service is available only from Monday to Friday … I thought then that I will not get my tickets and wanted to cancel the order … they offered me to charge me 20% of the amount to get a refund!
First and last time!
They show unavailable tickets
They show tickets that aren't actually available and when you book those certain tickets, they send you an email saying: "we are sorry but the ticket you requested (and paid for) is not available, would you like to upgrade to a much more expensive ticket or get your money back??"
I booked tickets two months in advance…
I booked tickets two months in advance but never received email confirmation, so I printed out my orders from the website and came to the office. There I was told by the receptionist that I came to the wrong agency. When I politely disagreed, there was an extended conference of clerks, followed by the appearance of the office manager, a rude and officious person who objected to my “attitude” and refused to help me complete the necessary voucher forms.
Do not use this site
Do not use this site. I tried to book a ticket and received an email saying this is not confirmed and we will reply within 24 hours. So I assumed they do not have tickets as the concewrt was in a few hours. Then took my money and sent an email 37 minutes before the concert saying be at the box office 20 minutes before! I saw the email the next day. They charged me, refused to refund the money and how on earth do you expect me to see an email and be there in 17 minutes when it takes 60 minutes to get there. Either you are in the business or you are not and DO NOT FALSELY ADVERTISE IF YOU DO NOT HAVE TICKETS AT SHORT NOTICE. JUST BE FAIR.
