Adding my voice to the many swindled by this. I am disappointed in Kickstarter for not holding them accountable.

Another scammed, disappointed kickstarter backer. Delivery of the Grid Game was 2017. It's 2020 and nothing, no games, no updates, and I am short almost $600!
Sad, because crowdfunding is a great model. Double sad, because I won't be backing anything, anyone, anymore, EVER on kickstarter. Kickstarter is also unwilling and unable to do anything to help backers when this sort of thing happens.

these people are con artists. They will take your money and disappear. Like they did with hundreds of kickstarter backers.

Ripped me off from a Kickstarter. If their business philosophy is "we will stop all contact with you if we don't like what you have to say" then don't do business with them ever.

Do not trust. over promises and under delivers. Stole my money along with hundreds/thousands of others...

This was such a blatant display of thievery. Stealing a quarter of $1 million than selling your product on another site and not delivering your promise product to your backers, the people who gave you the funding to build your product in the first place. You’re a thief you’re a crook you should be in jail for stealing a quarter of $1 million

I'm also a Kickstarter backer and have grown tired of the lack of communication and disregard that Victor has shown towards backers. The Kickstarter was labeled as a "Projects We Love" by Kickstarter and collected close to a quarter-million dollars. Numerous delays hit the project, but as long as we were kept in the loop, many were understanding. However, as the delays seemed to go from random misfortunes to excuses, communication all but stopped. I will never back or purchase anything from Victor again after having been basically ripped off.

Victor co-created a promising project via Kickstarter, collected over $200,000, and after running into challenges went silent on his supporters. I wouldn't back or purchase anything from him given his disregard for his most loyal customers.

I too backed the Kickstarter campaign for the Grid game. In fact a photo of it can be seen in the above montage of the profile of EstudioVictorAleman, its creator. When I saw the wooden edition I thought ‘how beautiful’. A thought is all it will remain. I pledged US$570 for a wooden and Western palette edition plus postage for a game that I have not received. Nor likely ever will.
Communication from Victor et al was sporadic at best over the nearly 3 years since the pledge total of US$250,000 was raised. Now there is no contact whatsoever. Backers can not determine whether the creators have been generally incompetent or truly deceptive. Either way US$250,000 would seem to have been squandered along with the reputations of the creators Victor Aleman and Ismael Porras.
Do not entrust your projects or future investment to EstudioVictorAleman. They have not earned such rewards.

This studio is listed as a contributor and associate of a project that has never been delivered. Their communication was irregular during the project. Now it's utterly inexistant as they do not update on the project or reply to personal messages. Instead of checking the pictures and artwork, check The Grid Game on kickstarter.
It is really an insult to all the backers that the project would still be used in a positive advertisement.

I invested in what I thought was the production of a great product for myself and my family. It’s called the “GRID GAME”. My first pledge through Kickstarter was for $110, the highest reward and pledge available at the time. The initial pledge goal was met pretty quickly due to the campaign’s success. A wooden edition was added as a reward for additional funding. It looked beautiful. I love wooden things. So I bought the reward for the wooden edition also. $400.
I’m sure you know where this is going. Since September of 2017 - all the pledges have received nothing. Nada. Zippppp. I was scammed for $510 USD plus shipping.

At first- this creator communicated regularly. Then less and less. And now nothing. But he logs into his account all the time. $243,000 USD. Thats a quarter of a million dollars. - Don’t trust these guys. Not even as far as you can throw them.

Jail them. Please.

Was a backer of the gridgame, promoted by this studio and after $250,000 of funding hardly anyone has seen a return on their monetary contribution.

Having promised shipping in May 2019, years later than originally expected, they have stopped communicating with the backers of the grid game.

Victor was one of the creators of "The Grid Game" on Kickstarter.
Communication from the creators' side of the project has completely dried out, even though I have tried reaching out to the creators through Facebook, Kickstarter and any other platform I could find them on. The project should've been delivered in September 2017, but they got delayed because of numerous reasons. The last sound was in March 2019, where they claimed they were getting ready to ship, but since then, nothing happened.

It'll be easy for them to reach out to backers, tell them "sorry, we've lost all the money gambling on this project we couldn't handle", and we can all move on. The silence in communication is horrible and not helping at all.

I hope I can reach out to one of the creators through Trustpilot now, but I highly doubt it.

Do not trust this person with you assignments.
