Avoid like your life depends on it

Avoid like your life depends on it. Bought very expensive tickets for Sumo Wrestling in Tokyo. They give an option to deliver tickets to a hotel if you are traveling. They ignored these and now the tickets will arrive at our home address instead of the hotel address, making the tickets essentially useless. When contacting customer service, they were just copying and pasting replays and not listening at all. They claim that once they are delivered that's all that matters and I asked what was the point in the travel date options. I will be fighting my case until I get a full refund but I can see it being a mighty struggle.

Avoid Viagogo at all costs!!

Bought tickets for Rosalía in Amsterdam, and the tickets were delivered so close to the concert date that booking flights or accommodation was impossible. Completely unacceptable.
When we tried to resell the tickets, the platform kept forcing us to lower the price again and again, until there was no value left. It feels like the whole system is designed to trap customers and make them lose money.
This platform feels like a scam. Stressful, misleading, and infuriating from start to finish.
Do not buy anything from Viagogo. You risk losing your money and your plans.
I am reporting this to the European Consumer Centre (ECC-Net).

Why can these hackers that take down supermarkets, put their skills to good use and shut down Viagogo instead so that music lovers can go and see there favourite artists at reasonable prices?
These people have no souls

Avoid

Brother bought tickets in February for a gig in Madrid last weekend. Was told he would have the tickets by 6.30pm the day of the gig. When 6.30 came we were told there was no tickets, two hours before the band were to start. Absolutely disgraceful. We booked flights and accomodation thinking this site had our tickets.Ruined a very expensive weekend for us. Should not be allowed to sell tickets they don't have. Avoid

If I could give a more negative review…

If I could give a more negative review I would.
They don’t deserve even 1 star review for the bad customer service they provide.
Purchased a ticket a week in advance and they only are able to provide the ticket on the day of the event via email. At 11:15 in the morning they sent an email reporting the “seller is not able to provide the ticket”. I contact them via phone and they just said the same. PLEASE USE ONLY OFFICIAL TICKET SELLER and not this ridiculous reselling thing.

Bought tickets for a concert

Bought tickets for a concert. Had serious issues getting the tickets released to me. The tickets were sold twice! Customer service was a complete waste of time, they kept telling me they would sort it but kept passing me around to other people. I sent emails to which they just stopped responding. I was outside the Eu and I spent over 70 euro on phone charges trying to sort it out. Absolutely horrible experience! It was only luck I arrived to the concert before the other buyer and so I was given the tickets.

I got my tickets for the Twenty One…

I got my tickets for the Twenty One Pilots concert in Amsterdam – but OMG, I only received them 2 hours before the show!
We planned to stand at the front, but with the delay, it was impossible.
They finally showed up in the Ticketmaster app. Stressful, but they arrived.
Thank you, Viagogo.ie

BUT BEWARE:
There’s a fake “Viagogo support” using viagogohelpdesk@
They ask for extra payments like €228 or €246 to “upgrade” your tickets.
Total scam. DO NOT pay.

Stay safe, everyone!

Scam site-I thing they are working with thiefs.

The site that sells the same ticket with screenshots over and over is viagogo. We had to buy tickets twice for the same event through this site. The first time, although we accepted the transfer email, the ticket we paid for was sold to someone else and we could not make the transfer, we only received a notification during the process that the time was up. But they had already taken our money and the refund was not made. The second time, this time the transfer was made but the security guards at the concert gate told us that these were not real tickets but screenshots. In other words, the tickets were fake and we could not attend the concert with these tickets despite paying money again. They are not only scammers but also not solution or customer focused. We had terrible experiences and they did not refund our large amount of money. When we talked about this situation, they did not accept the refund or produce a solution. You are throwing your money away.

I bought tickets for F1 in a covered area with a good view. My commute to the event takes 2 hours. On the day of the event I hadn't received my tickets. I had to waste 1 hour on the phone so they wouldn't offer me tickets in the same sector I was in. it had available. I Waste time and money.

DO NOT BUY FROM VIAGOGO

Viagogo are, in my opinion, acting with reckless disregard of their customers. That is the best case scenario. At worst, it is possible that they are aware of how misleading their services are and how they are duping people and continuing with it anyway. If proved (you can see the likelihood of that by reading the truly awful reviews they have received), I would posit that someone should look into whether they are perpetrators of criminal activity.

I booked a ticket for the 5 Jan Porto vs Boavista game while in Porto on one of the few holidays I get a year. For a couple of days before the day of the game, it was hard to get tickets. I looked again on the day of the game and suddenly tickets were available.

I went on the page and purchased tickets. I ignored the exorbitant handling fees they charge (£12 on a £26 ticket) and proceeded to purchase. ONLY ONCE I HAD PURCHASED THE TICKET, was it made clear that the game had been rescheduled! I cannot make the new day. I have complained but their online responses are automated and spineless, not owning up to the issue and the intentional and dishonest misleading on their page. They were talking nonsense about reselling my ticket, and would no doubt charge another fee on top for me to do so if I chose to do so. I don’t want to go through the rigmarole of selling the ticket and making a loss. I want my money back! I feel defrauded out of my money and, by the looks of the reviews, this cannot continue. What a joke of a company and they will be revealed as the complete jokers they are. I will be recommending to everyone I know to never buy from this company. Bunch of charlatans and thieves.

Minus 10 if it were available

Minus 10 if it were available. Total scam merchants. Watch out over Christmas. I tried to buy tickets for a match for a birthday gift. Exact same tickets were available on Ticket master for 45 each. I was as charged over 150 so 300 for 2. As soon as I discovered this tried unsuccessfully to get my money back. Complained to Ticket master but discovered they offload a quantity to Viagogo. Complained to IRFU no response. My bank said I had clicked so no way out even though it was within ten mins of the purchase- my partner alerted me. Avoid like the plague.

WARNING: Terrible Experience with Viagogo – Avoid at All Costs!

I am writing this review to share my extremely disappointing experience with Viagogo and to caution others against using their services. My encounter with Viagogo has been nothing short of a nightmare, and I feel compelled to express my frustration and dissatisfaction.

In August, I purchased two tickets for the FC Barcelona vs Sevilla FC match at Estadio Olimpic de Montjuic Lluis Companys in Barcelona scheduled for Sunday, October 1, 2023. However, on September 9, I received an email notification stating that the match date had been changed to Friday, September 29. This unexpected change rendered my non-refundable flights for September 30 useless, causing significant inconvenience and financial loss.

In an attempt to salvage the situation, I followed Viagogo's instructions to release the tickets for resale at a lower price. To my dismay, the tickets were sold, and I was assured in writing on September 14, 2023, that I would receive a refund within 8 business days after the event. Fast forward to today, and I have yet to see a penny returned to my account.

What's even more infuriating is that the tickets I initially purchased were not only paid for by me but were also resold and repurchased by another customer who attended the rescheduled game. In essence, Viagogo profited twice from the same set of tickets.

Despite numerous attempts to resolve this matter through emails and phone calls, the customer service has been abysmal, and the promised refund remains elusive. This level of negligence and lack of accountability is unacceptable.

I strongly advise anyone considering using Viagogo to think twice. The company's disregard for its customers, coupled with their failure to deliver on promises, makes them entirely unreliable and untrustworthy. Save yourself the stress, frustration, and financial loss – look for alternative ticket providers with a better track record.

Viagogo has lost my trust and business, and I sincerely hope others heed this warning to avoid the same unpleasant experience.

DUPED!

DUPED!

Got PREMIUM Seats for a concert (Coldplay), only for them to cancel those tickets and then email me to say I can either get a refund or PURCHASE from a new seller. I had clicked (my biggest regret) purchase from a new seller, only to find out to my horror, THE NEW tickets didn't have any row number, seat number, nothing of the premium that I had initially bought. Basically I WAS DUPED into thinking I was going to get my premium tickets. I should have clicked Refund. I have tried for over 3 months to sell these tickets - but who will purchase tickets that have no Row number or Seat number? This site is FRAUD, THEY SELL TICKETS THEY DON'T HAVE
