Customers truly appreciate how simple it is to navigate the platform and order tickets without any trouble, creating a smooth booking journey. Many consumers also highlight that tickets are securely transferred well ahead of time, enabling them to enjoy truly fantastic live performances. However, some people mentioned that ticket prices are significantly higher than the original face value because of heavy reseller markups and steep service fees. Some reviewers were not happy with the anxiety and stress caused by waiting until the very day before the show to finally receive their digital passes.

Deliberate fraud and a scam

Deliberate fraud and a scam, in which they quoted that 2 x £19 tickets were for sale at £183, which was agreed to. Then the next email quoted a total of £745 and too late to pull the deal (hence the delay in delivering the tickets). Considering now a Section 73 Charge Back on my Bank Card. Morals and Principles with this outfit completely out the window.

SCAM!!!!!

SCAM!!!!!! DO NOT GO THROUGH THEM!
They gave me little information about my tickets which I questioned, they kept insuring me we would be seated together which didn't answer my question which raised flags straight away. They said my tickets was on the way but when I rang they said they won't get released until 2 hours before the show!! I asked for a refund but they are refusing and telling me to sell them instead but they also said I won't have the tickets until the date, but how can I sell tickets that I haven't got?! This company is a SCAM that are taking people's money and will not give it back! AVOID!

Stressful!

I was happy with the tickets, although I see that I did pay a lot more than going via Ticketmaster! The only negative I have is that I received the tickets at the eleventh hour. It wasn’t easy to get them either, I had to register with this company and email with that company and if I didn’t do this then the tickets couldn’t be sent to me! A Bit nailing biting - I needed the tickets for the afternoon match and was still trying to locate them that morning!

Good tickets arriving last minute before the concert of Sting

The good things: The booking process was very easy and quick, price was fine for an event as big ( sting performance )
The bad things: the tickets arrived at the last minute ( 3 days before the performance) and printing them was a challenge as I was on a trip in foreign country, I couldn't contact any customer relations representative

I purchased two Bruno Mars tickets…

I purchased two Bruno Mars tickets through Viagogo for Wembley Stadium. Before purchasing, the Viagogo confirmation clearly stated “Limited rear view (printed on ticket)”.

However, when the tickets were transferred to Ticketmaster, both tickets were clearly marked “No View – Audio Only Ticket.”

These are completely different descriptions. I understood “limited rear view” to mean that I would still be able to see the performance, although the view might be restricted. I would never knowingly purchase an audio-only ticket with no view whatsoever.
I contacted Viagogo and provided evidence showing the difference between the original description and the actual tickets. Unfortunately, they refused to refund me and said they could not refund the money.
I also contacted American Express, but they were unable to refund the transaction.
I am writing this review so that other customers are aware of my experience. Please check the exact ticket wording very carefully before purchasing through Viagogo, particularly where the ticket is described as having a “limited” or “restricted” view.

Scam scam scam

I am absolutely appalled by my experience with Viagogo.

I was attempting to purchase General Admission tickets for Ariana Grande on Saturday 15 August. During the purchasing process, the Viagogo website gave me the impression that the tickets were available/being held while I proceeded through checkout. I then reached the payment stage, only to be told that the tickets had apparently been sold.

Because this was a time-sensitive ticket purchase, I immediately tried again. In the confusion and urgency created by the failed first transaction, I accidentally purchased tickets for Sunday 16 August instead of Saturday 15 August.

I realised the mistake immediately and contacted Viagogo straight away asking for the transaction to be cancelled and my €747 refunded so that I could purchase the correct tickets.

The response was essentially: no refund, resell them yourself.

Fine. I then tried to list the tickets for the exact amount I had paid — around €375 each — so that I could recover my money and purchase the tickets I actually wanted.

Viagogo then told me that my €375 asking price was “too high” and “non-competitive” and that the listing would not be recommended or visable.

So let me understand this: I have tickets I purchased for €375, I immediately realised the mistake, I am trying to recover the exact amount I paid, and Viagogo is now discouraging buyers from seeing my listing because they consider my price too high.

This is an absolutely absurd situation.

What makes this particularly concerning is that none of these practical consequences were made sufficiently clear to me during the checkout process. The purchasing experience created considerable urgency and confusion, and when I tried to undo the transaction immediately afterwards, I was given no meaningful opportunity to do so.

I am now being pushed towards potentially selling the tickets for less than I paid simply to recover my money, despite contacting Viagogo immediately.

I have retained screenshots of the purchasing process, my order, the resale restrictions and my communications with customer support. I have also formally complained directly to Viagogo and am pursuing the matter with my card provider.

I am also a disabled customer, and I made Viagogo aware of this when explaining the circumstances. The way this situation has been handled has caused me considerable additional distress.

I would strongly advise consumers to think very carefully before purchasing through Viagogo. The combination of time-sensitive purchasing, the way ticket availability is presented, the inability to cancel after an immediate mistake, and the restrictions placed on resale have left me feeling completely trapped.

I genuinely wish I had never used this platform.

Viagogo: I don’t want your resale solution. I want the €747 I paid returned so I can purchase the ticket I was actually trying to buy.

Safe & easy purchase

I had heard some reviews about people being scammed when buying tickets, so I was a little hesitant at first. However, I personally had a great experience!

I bought tickets for The Weeknd’s concert, and everything went smoothly. Before the concert, my tickets were transferred directly to Ticketmaster, and the whole process was quick and easy. I had no issues getting into the concert at all.

Definitely recommend buying from here!

Avoid at all costs

Avoid at all costs , their customer service is a mess and they find anyway they can to charge you, even when you have done nothing wrong.Sent them two tickets(under two different listings) for a cricket match with total face value £102; they sold both tickets for a combined £33 by mistake and then charged me over £90 in “charges” so I ended up LOSING money!
