Our boiler and pump stopped working and we found Jon on checkatrade. He came round very quickly and we had a diagnosis and repair in 24 hours so we were only cold for 1 night👍

The wireless receiver on my heating thermostat died, and therefore no heating. It was a Salus one and apparently it is a common fault. The call-out to Verve Gas was as trouble free and efficient as I have ever encountered. Jon was helpful, knowledgeable, kept in touch, put himself out to do the job very early morning due a delivery issue with the spare part the previous day when the work was scheduled, despite the fact that he was due to travel abroad that morning. And he didn't load the price. So I was impressed and my expectations exceeded. Top marks for Verve Gas.
I have used this company several times, once in a real emergency when our hot water tank sprung a leak on a Friday when we were going away for the weekend. The immediate leak was stopped and by the time we returned from our weekend away the tank had been replaced. On every occasion service has been prompt and courteous and the charges have been very reasonable. Highly recommended.
