Redflagdeals is ruined

Redflagdeals is ruined. Read the Site Suggestions thread. It's an absolute clown show. There is some new hire JaredDiPane who is focussed on according to his linkedin resume increasing clicks. The mods are terrible and whenever someone complains about them the post gets removed and I notice long time members get banned. Toxic site. They launched an AI bot called Frank on other forums. There is a rumor that a number of AI bots are posting on the site to create traffic.

Zero respect for users.

After several emails asking why my account was closed for spam (it wasn't spam, it was asking questions Admin just want to dodge), I finally got my reply.

'The matter is closed'.

Wow. Thank you, Vertical Scope, for all the time and effort you put into that.

I wonder whether any of the proper decision makers in this company know that the pen-pushers are dismissing users' valid concerns. If not, there might be hope. If they do, though, this company has zero respect for its users.

Verticalscope

If Verticalscopes aim is to destroy forums, then from my experience they get 5 stars.

I used to be a member of a popular forum, when Verticalscope took over, that popularity and the spirit of the forum, died.

The VSadmin do not listen to members concerns, instead ignoring, or even deleting any posts they do not like.
They have banned members for asking the 'wrong' questions.
The great community that once thrived on that forum has gone, which is a huge shame.

What can Verticalscope do better?
Listen, Listen to the members, after all without the members, without people, there is no forum.

When VS takes over

VS took over a forum I have been a member of for almost 20 years. It was a thriving active place, lots of interaction and member support, interesting squabbles, lifelong friendships formed, a wealth of information for people needing help, excellent moderation. VS came in and started throwing their weight around, making changes, that many of the members had problems with, but concerns and questions are not addressed, either ignored or just deleted. There have been some disrespectful treatment of members as well. Many of us have left, and it is beginning to be filled with bots and AI posts and spam. Such a shame.

Appalling staff conduct

My account was closed, without warning - not for breaching the rules, not for behaving inappropriately - simply for asking questions about their employee conduct being at odds with the values of respect and clarity that they claim to hold.

Their behaviour to users has been anything but respectful, and their refusal to answer questions is the opposite of applying clarity. My posts were also deleted, because apparently that's the easiest way to avoid having to justify their inexcusable behaviour.

Should give lessons on how to kill a forum!

Very successful company if their goal is to kill off forums! They have completely ruined a very popular forum, they blatantly ignore members and ban any that speak out against them. Horrific, the owners of this company need to look into how their employees are handling their business.

Nobody gets on with the AI thing they…

Nobody gets on with the AI thing they have added to the forum.

They ignore concerns, delete stuff they don't agree with, and I've seen good members either leave or get banned by them just for not getting on with the AI thing.

How to ruin a business in one easy…

How to ruin a business in one easy lesson! Verticalscope appears to have chosen a head in the sand approach to dealing with queries from the members of this particular forum by leaving it to a robot to answer which is highly unsatisfactory. Requests to have contact with a living breathing human are generally ignored. As a result members are leaving in droves. An absolute crime as this particular forum has been highly successful for nearly 2 decades.

This company owns many forums

This company owns many forums. They have proved to be oblivious to the community who use the forums and delete posts that don't fit in with their agenda. They show no humanity or compassion and stifle the expression of forum users.
In my opinion their practise is unethical and dictatorial.
Changes are made with no discussion with the staff.

Disrespectful, disinterested and dismissive

This company blatantly disregards its own company values of clarity and respect. Ask a question they don't want to answer, and they will ignore it or just remove the query from view. Complain about this via the corporate website and expect to be ghosted, ignored. It's little surprise that the stakeholders, whom they will tell investors make them a unique resource, are leaving in numbers because of the way staff are treating them. Customer service is non-existent.
