Fast delivery, active support with some flaws
The product ordered was received in-time. The packaging can be improved but the product within was not sensible, so it was okay. After a year of use a guarantee case emerged. I opened a guarantee case at the manufacturers website. They confirmed the case and offered replacement, but stated that the preferred way is to send it to the retailer (VerticalExtreme) who they will communicate with and resolve the issue. I send a guarantee case / replacement request to VerticalExtreme. The support reacted qutie fast. I also provided the chatlog with the manufacturer, who stated that the item can be replaced. The case was accepted and I was asked to wait 4-6 weeks for a response. 8 Weeks passes, so I initiated a conversation with VerticalExtreme about the case. They answered in an acceptable time, but what wasn't acceptable is that they just send me back the money I have paid for the product stating that the manufacturer decided to go that path. I have to mention though that VerticalExtreme communicated that they didn't receive the money yet. However, they mustn't simply decide to revert the purchase contract and send me the money back, the guarantee as per law and what the manufacturer states encompasses a repair or replacement, not a reversal of the purchase contract. They event transferred the money to a bank account that doesn't exist anymore. All of this is not a huge problem, but just acting without asking the consumer for his consent, although it was clear that it was against the law, was just not right.
Because the delivered fast and as promised and because the support was engaged, I give a 4/5 rating. However, the final case was not resolved to my satisfaction, they did not replace the product.
