We hired Vægspecialisten to make two…
We hired Vægspecialisten to make two holes in the existing brick walls for two new windows.
We went through the project originally with Anders and we left them to it.
All work was neat, they cleaned up after themselves and performed the work very quickly.
Would highly recommend and we will use them for a project in the future :)

Difficult renovation with Vaegspecialisten
I had a difficult renovation with Vaegspecialisten. In the first instance, they did not return my phone calls, and instead has a receptionist fielding all the calls, so there was little chance for clarifications and proper consultation. When the work was done the incorrect structural columns were used, meaning I had to find another tradesman to fire proof the column left exposed. The quote stated that all of the fire proofing would be done. To make things worse, because of the issues i had, after only a few weeks of emails trying to sort this out, they just started legal proceedings!!! It was so fast its clear he has done this kind of thing before. I would strongly suggest that you choose another provider who communicates better and isn't so litigious.

Removal of load-bearing wall.
We had a load-bearing wall removed, with some additional complexity involving a second beam. Niels handled the whole process with great professionalism and with great patience (for our numerous questions). The budget was clear and the work finished ahead of time. The men removing the wall and adding new beams were clearly competent and remarkably fast. Highly recommend.
