URSO -be aware
In December 2025, I corresponded with Giuseppe at URSO to purchase a sterling silver set (fountain pen and ballpoint), along with an additional matching ballpoint. I was told that the set would not be available in 2026, which influenced my decision to proceed with the purchase.
When the three pens arrived from Italy, the single ballpoint appeared tarnished and I could not locate a clear sterling silver hallmark. Giuseppe initially stated that the pen had been made prior to shipping and that they had forgotten to stamp it. After I requested a replacement, I was asked to provide multiple detailed photos. He later pointed to a barely visible mark and stated that this was the stamp.
I was disappointed that a replacement was refused, especially for a sterling silver product where proper hallmarking should be clear and identifiable.
Additionally, I recently noticed that the set I was told would not be available in 2026 is still being offered on their website.
URSO produces attractive writing instruments, but based on this experience, I have concerns regarding transparency and customer service.
