Pretty much a con - you pay a large fee for express delivery because you need a gift delivered on time and they scam you by sending with a cheap and slow method so they can pocket your cash.

Shipping from Germany my item took 8 days to arrive. I was informed the item would arrive on the 18th and didn't arrive until the 20th. Three days of waiting due to Fedex delay. Too late for the birthday!

Delayed, expensive and unapologetic
Purchased a bottle on the 5th June for a father's day gift. The only shipping option being in the realms of 25% of the bottles price but Thinking that would be an express/few day eta. NOPE! Confirmation emails says Thursday 13th. Doesn't arrive. Contacted on the 14th to ask where it is to a late response of "delivery agent is backed up" etc excuse. So finally Monday 17th (4 days out of delivery expected), it turns up. Did I mention the real kick in the teeth is that IF I'd used a more renowned company, the bottle would have not only been 25% cheaper BUT dispatched and arrived within guaranteed 3 working days. But Urban Drinks don't really want to know about any of this information.

Indeed, FedEx do have problems (at customs) and are clearing this problem since 2 or 3 week actually. But unfortunately for us, a few orders have been delayed lately. We can solve the problem but it took a few days as in your case.
We do indicated that we ship our products from the EU and that normally it takes up to 4 or 5 working days, which is to 99% the case. 9,90 GBP is the best price we can offer for a shipping from Germany to the UK.
We are very sorry for the inconvenience and can proceed with the refund of your shipping costs.

Reliable company
I've used this company on several previous occasions and found them very reliable. The shipment was a couple of days later than promised on this occasion, but I was able to track the package and it turned up within the promised timeslot on the rearranged day. I will continue to use them.

The length of time it took to deliver…
The length of time it took to deliver the purchase and an email from FedEx that they were going to deliver that day when in fact the goods had not cleared customs. Otherwise product was as expected and well priced.

I had no idea the items would be…
I had no idea the items would be shipped from Germany as sounded like a UK company.
One week on and the items are still in Germany (according to the tracking) so will now arrive late for the birthday gift…

We do not make a secret of our location, as we indicate on our website that we have an online shop in many countries and that the delivery takes up to 4-5 working days. We do indeed ship all our product only from one warehouse in Berlin at the moment. Our UK office make it available for us to ship order to the UK without any additionnal costs for our customers.

Poor service
Placed order on 30/04/2024 as the UK website showed it was available. It was only delivered on the 13/05/2024 having contacted Customer Service to first be told it would take 4-5 working days to be processed and delivered, then to be told that it was being held by customs due to couriers not having the correct documents is a very bad sign ! This is not the first order to the United Kingdom that has been delayed. If you have a company registered in the UK i expect you to have stock in the UK.

Please note that we are obliged to have a subsidiary in Great Britain to be able to export our products there. it is only an office, were we can proceed with customs clearance and it helps us to export so many products to your country even after the Brexit.
We don't hide the fact that the goods come from Germany, and we even indicate all the different shipping options on our website as the shipping time from about 4 to 5 working days.
We're really sorry that the parcel arrived late, but unfortunately it can sometimes happen that customs checks more thoroughly and delays the parcel. We do our best to avoid this problem and fortunately have very few complaints.

Taken two weeks to tell me they couldn't ship the item and that I'll have to wait a few days before they can try again.
Fair prices and a good selection of stock.
But if you can't get the items delivered then there is no point in ordering.
