Horrific company.
This company is appalling and should not be allowed to take custom from a hospital. My elderly mother was left waiting at Wishaw General for over 45 minutes. The first driver refused the fare because his shift was ending—an error by dispatch that the office then blamed on my mother, even insulting her by claiming she "didn't know where she was going."
The second driver was worse. He interrogated her on previous fares, accused her of lying about even calling from the hospital, and threatened to drive her back to the hospital mid-journey unless she paid upfront. He even stopped at a shop to demand she withdraw more cash. To finish, he took an obscure, unnerving back-road route that left her frightened.
When I complained, the manager was defensive and terminated the call after I challenged her standards. This is a disgusting way to treat a vulnerable patient. They provide a woeful service with zero compassion or accountability. If I could give less than one star I would.
