Still a staple for basic wardrobe needs…
Still a staple for basic wardrobe needs but the quality of products has dropped drastically in recent years.
I ordered a “Cotten” T-shirt from…
I ordered a “Cotten” T-shirt from Uniqlo and when it came it was 33% Cotten and the rest were just plastic. About shit quality
Shopped at Manchester Arndale store
Shopped at Manchester Arndale store - the quality is excellent, clothes lasting in the wash many times. The best in terms of value for money compared to all other high street brands.
Online retailer with no help/options to return
I sometimes find very good pieces for me, I know that the quality is also good. However I will continue to shop in store if I want anything. The only thing is Uniqlo is not in Portugal so if I see something I have to buy it online. The return process is awful , whilst I understand retailers move to paid returns Uniqlo should put in some effort to give options to people who need to make a return especially from a country where there is no physical stores. I don’t mind paying for a return, but it would be great to have a return portal on the website or at least some guidance with delivery/return partners that can make the return and refund smooth. Honestly I don’t know what I’m doing and if I’m doing the return correct, I hope I get my refund money back.
Terrible online service
Great products, but online fulfilment and support are a different company entirely
My order was dispatched a full week after the stated delivery date with no communication — no delay notification.
Getting hold of anyone is deliberately difficult. The website contact portal takes messages into a void. When I followed up via the email address provided through PayPal, I received a response two days later stating they couldn't assist because I wasn't in Australia — despite the invoice clearly referencing an Australian delivery address, and no VPN in use. That isn't a mistake.
There's also no self-service functionality online. You can't cancel, amend an order, or change payment details once placed. For a retailer of this scale, that's not an oversight — it's a design choice that removes your options and forces you to rely on a support team that is structured to not help you.
If you're buying online, expect no visibility, no recourse, and support designed to outlast your patience.
AVOID! Terrible customer service & warehouse issues
AVOID! Terrible customer service & warehouse issues.
The warehouse lost my return, but no refund is given.
I returned a bag with 4 items. The parcel clearly reached the warehouse, as 3 items were processes, but one item got lost in their warehouse.
I am absolutely sure all 4 items were in the bag that was returned, they clearly are not at my house.
I wish if i can give 0 star
I wish if i can give 0 star, website a slow size are unreal, shipping was okey but to exchange is a mission impossible
Sold me a defective shirt
Sold me a defective shirt. When I went on a customer service chat to try to exchange, I was asked to provide proof. I took a picture and sent them “proof” and was told to return item and order again. The item was no longer on sale so they said I “might qualify” for a $10 gift card - no guarantee. No option to just exchange and have a non-defective item sent. I’ve been a customer for 10+ years but I’m DONE. Their customer service is more like CUSTOMER WORK. Stay away unless you like disappointment and terrible customer service.
Exorbitant return fees
Lovely products until one arrives that you need to return and it starts costing you.
I bought a cashmere cardigan in the sale and was very excited about receiving it. When I tried it on it was tiny so I had to return it. My refund took forever to come through. I had paid £59.90 and they took off £6.95 return fee I had paid by Klarna payments which made the refund really confusing. It ended up looking like I had hardly had any refund at all. The whole process was incredibly slow and I don’t think I will be buying anything more from UNIQLO because of this. My delight in finding them soon diminished. It would have been cheaper for me to take it to the post office and return it, but I was stuck with their returns process.
I really like what they are trying to do…
I really like what they are trying to do. I love simple unbranded classic casual clothes. So far I have only bought linen mix trousers and a cotton shirt. Both were well made. They are not fantastic quality but good for the price paid. The shopping experience does miss the human touch with self service till but it works.
Horrible company
Horrible company. The tracking number is super long, they continually advertise items that aren’t even available and it takes a long time to get what you do order. Customer service is nonexistent. I did go thru PayPal, maybe they can help me get my money back for my order that never even shipped.
Beware online refunds are slow!
Items are lovely quality and delivered promptly. However sizing is strange and most things are too small. Refunds are very slow and stressful. Stick to M&S, QVCUK etc.

Truly awful company with the worst…
Truly awful company with the worst staff you’ll ever encounter
Have a ridiculous policy that if you order online and collect from a store ,if there is anything wrong with it you have to post it back to UniLOW and can’t return it in any store even the one you collected it from.
So Beware -I won’t be buying a thing from them again!!
Ruined Premium Selvedge / Horrible Fulfillment & Support
I explicitly ordered a pair of Selvedge Jeans and requested a traditional clean chain stitch hem. Instead, the fulfillment team hacked them off and sent a completely raw, unstitched cut-off hem that is prone to immediate unravelling and fraying. To make matters worse, customer support is actively gaslighting me. I opened a support ticket and was promised a timely update. I had to manually follow up more than 48 hours later because I never heard back from them as promised. When I finally forced a response, the representative explicitly claimed that a raw, unstitched cut-off hem is "correct" and matches what I requested. A frayed raw edge is completely different from a locked vintage chain stitch. Uniqlo ruined a brand-new pair of premium jeans, ignored their own service windows, and is now using automated policy lines to refuse an exchange for a blatant fulfillment error. Unacceptable customer service.
I had some problem with the the jacket…
I had some problem with the the jacket I bought took it back to the store. Then I returned it and bought some thing else
Dev was very helpfull v.happy with the service
Poor customer care
My husband and I bought puffajackets from them on same day. He has worn his daily, mine only a handful of times 1-2hrs. The padding has separated into cotton balls making the jacket basically 2 layers of nylon material, no warmth, no waterproofing. I wrote to them, sent everything they asked for-photos, purchase evidence, washing details (only rinsed and dried naturally as per instructions). They would not accept any liability. It is clearly a manufacturing fault, I would have had the jacket again. However after there unhelpful dismissive attitude, I won't be dealing with them again.
Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. Bought a linen top. Washed once according to label instructions. Shrunk a lot. Customer service like to ask a million questions back and forth via email pretending the "solve the issue", and refused to refund me in the end anyway. Waste of my time. Meanwhile reviews for this top kept coming in with people having the exact same issue as me. Won't use again
Never again
Returned my item, have full proof, and Uniqlo’s own tracking shows they received it — yet they still refused my refund and closed the case. Absolute joke of a returns process. I wish I’d read the negative reviews before ordering. I will never buy from Uniqlo online again.
