Fast connection, a lot of option for sport bets, and also about poker the prize draw on Hexa is truly fair and random. That rarely happens with other bookmakers.

Appalling onboarding, silent agent retaliation, and fake account flags

I opened a Unibet account, successfully verified my identity, and received a "You are all set!" confirmation in the Verification Centre. Seconds later, my brand-new account was frozen for "routine checks."

When I contacted live chat to politely ask why a newly verified account was immediately restricted, I calmly explained that the situation was deeply frustrating and that if it couldn't be resolved, I would simply close the account.

Instead of offering any assistance, the support agent, Tyler, chose to weaponize Unibet's account tools. Without a single word of reply in the chat, Tyler abruptly cut the interaction, blocked me, and secretly flagged my profile as a customer-requested "temporary suspension." Unibet then sent a blatantly false automated email claiming I had asked to close my account, which has completely locked me out of logging in.

To be clear: I never requested a temporary suspension or a protective safety flag. Tyler fabricated a regulatory record and abused account tools to avoid a routine customer service query. Worse still, your "Contact Us" links are locked behind a login wall, intentionally blocking locked-out users from making a complaint.

I am walking away from Unibet completely, but your compliance and senior management teams need to pull Tyler’s chat logs from this morning (4 June 2026) . I expect this false "suspended" status to be corrected immediately on your database to a permanent closure due to gross staff misconduct.

Dear Sir,

Thanks for your feedback — we’re sorry to hear about your experience and for how the interaction with our agent came across. That’s not the level of service we aim to provide.

We did reach out asking for some additional information so we could properly review your account, but unfortunately we didn’t receive a reply.

We understand this was frustrating, and we would happily review the interaction from 4 June 2026, including the chat, if you were kind enough to provide your contact details.

In the meantime, we recommend contacting Customer Support again to check your current account status, as some documents or information may still be required to complete the review.

Your understanding is highly appreciated.

Kind regards,
Unibet Team

AVOID. SCAM. FRAUD. UNPROFESSIONAL. HEADACHE

UNPROFESSIONAL USELESS SCAMMERS.

I have been waiting since the 30th of April 2026. It is now the 4th of June 2026.

That’s 35 DAYS.

In those 35 days I have had my account wrongfully suspended with £170 unable to withdraw. In that time I have had countless encounters with customer service who can’t do NOTHING.

In those 35 days it took them 3 weeks to get back to just to ask for documents. So imagine for three weeks I’m suspended with no reason being given or no way of resolving unless I sit there waiting for this ‘review team’ to contact me because customer service won’t let me speak to the review team or speak to a manager

In those 35 DAYS I’ve posted 2 reviews about this specific problem. One was for the original unprovoked suspension and another for waiting 3 weeks with no reply on how to get my account back and more importantly the £170.

They’ve managed to hide one review off the recent review page and also completely removed another, showing they care more about the reviews then actual customer experience.

I’ve asked for compensation even and their response is oh it was in the tees and conditions that your account can be suspended at any given point. Yes that’s true but at what point does customer experience matter to these people and at what point do you think as a company that making someone wait more than 35 DAYS to get access to their own money is fine.

This is supposed to be a serious company yet it’s proven to be completely unreliable as I’m not the only one facing this issue that’s why as of right now 67% of the reviews are 1 STAR reviews.

67%

And for further clarification i sent in my documents as soon as the email was sent and since then it’s been another 2 weeks where I’ve had 0 communication. 0 responses and a bunch of useless customer service live chat conversations as they seem to not care about helping anyone.

This review will probably get removed quicker than they get back to me about the ‘review’. That is IF they get back to me.

Dear Sir,

Thank you for sharing your feedback.

We’re sorry to hear how frustrating this experience has been and understand the disappointment caused due to delays. Due to the volume of our queues, this is affecting our timeframes, however, we are doing all we can to get you through this process as quickly as possible.

Please note that the verification of an account is ongoing as part of our regulatory obligations. These checks are required to ensure the safety of our customers and the integrity of our platform, and they must be fully completed.

As outlined in our terms and conditions (https://www.unibet.co.uk/general-info/terms#section-6):

6.1 We are required to undertake certain checks to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations – for example to verify your age, identity, address, location, financial circumstances, and the source of the funds you deposit and use – and we may also undertake other credit, fraud prevention and verification checks (together “Verification Checks”). We may ask you to provide various pieces of information and supporting documentation to enable us to carry out these Verification Checks, for example a copy of your passport, driving licence, birth certificate, financial statements, documents to support the expenditure on your account, proof of address and/or any other documents / evidence that we may reasonably require.

You will be notified as soon as further information and updates become available.

We do appreciate your feedback and your continued patience during this process.

Kind regards,
Unibet Team
