No personal choice
I would have felt more comfortable having a list of IFAs I could approach rather than give over my details to people I don’t know (how many? I have no idea) and have them phone me. I like to do my own research into businesses before I consider them. I only had one response and he seems good but the ‘service’ from Unbiased was not what I expected.

There are two ways in which you can use Unbiased. The first way, is to be matched by our free online service (which you've done) this sends you to a few question pages so you can create your enquiry, and it will also require your contact details. This will then go to an adviser who will call you to offer their assistance.
The second way, if you would prefer to look at the profiles of our different advisers, and then choose someone from a list yourself, is to use our directory at the link here https://www.unbiased.co.uk/advisers/financial-adviser?searchId=37995698 you will need to reach out to the adviser of your choice yourself as this is different to the enquiry form, but you will be able to see a list of many advisers and make your own choice.

I was put in touch with a local pension…
I was put in touch with a local pension adviser within 24 hours. The pension adviser was a Defined Benefits specialist, which is what I needed. He talked me through options regarding my enquiry to retire early and what the effects on both lump-sum cash and long-term annual income.

Very Quick usful help
The experience has been very good.
The recommended company contacted me very quickly.
I have been happy with the information provided but it was from a linked financial source. This wasn't an issue, but It would seem better in these cases to provide two source of information. This would give wider pospective of the avaialbe investments.
