Sent a parcel from London to Bulgaria…
Sent a parcel from London to Bulgaria in early December. Delivery took significantly longer than the usual timeframe and there was no clear or consistent explanation for the delay. I was later told delivery had been attempted several times, but only phone calls were made and no doorbell was rung, which is not reasonable for elderly recipients.
I was also told the parcel had been returned to another city, yet after I provided an alternative phone number it was delivered the next day, which makes that explanation difficult to accept.
At delivery, the recipient was charged 32.29 BGN in cash without prior agreement, explanation, or receipt. I contacted the company in writing and received only an automated acknowledgement, with no follow-up response.
An acknowledgement of what went wrong, an apology, and reassurance that this would not happen again would have been sufficient. The lack of response is the most disappointing part of this experience.
