Don’t buy with this company.
Don’t buy with this company.
I purchased the GPS watch for Alzheimer’s patients. It arrived faulty and after speaking with company returned the watch, with a promise of a refund. It is now 3 months since the watch was returned. I have a string of emails promising to refund me, but still nothing. I left a 1* review on their website with the above - it funnily doesn’t appear with the 4-5* reviews. I commented on Facebook and Instagram posts telling others that they do not refund. UbeeQuee got in touch via direct message, promised to sort this out, and again nothing has happened. They deleted my comments.
Alzheimer’s patients are vulnerable. Carers cannot afford to waste £70 on a scam. You cannot censor reviews to show what you want to show about your own company. Do not buy from them, do not trust them.
Update in response to UbeeQuee’s reply: My emails to the company were to Sam directly who has replied below. His reply is incorrect: I have not been refunded. My comments were 100% true - UbeeQuee obviously tries to hide the truth from future customers. Don’t trust his responses on here. UbeeQuee even reported this review as harmful (thankfully TrustPilot do not agree)! Check their company activity on TrustPilot - they have reported every single negative review as harmful and TrustPilot have not agreed in the majority of cases. By the looks of other reviews here, this company sells lots of faulty goods and never refunds. Sad I didn’t check TrustPilot before I purchased. I will be taking this further and encourage others to do the same.

I have three dogs and all three have a tracker. This gives me peace of mind
No replies to emails. Must have folded ?
I can only assume Ubeequee has ceased operation - received non functioning device in November 2022, after a couple of emails back and forth, no replacement and since January 2023, no reply to emails. Had to cancel direct debit via bank and claim previous d/d via bank. Shame.

Simple to use
Simple to use and has saved us some scares. Sometimes it takes a while for GPS to update which can be annoying

I am not yet sure if the gps is actually accurate. It seems to show where my cat has gone but I have no way knowing it’s true lol. Sometimes it says unavailable or offline when it’s not , or clearly places the cat somewhere miles away that he is not

Reasonably happy with the Ubeequee GPS…
Reasonably happy with the Ubeequee GPS tracker for our cat, but quite frustrated with the battery life.
The tracker itself seems quite difficult to switch on and off with 2 different audible sounds, so leads to it being left on in most cases, as confused as to what one is on and off?
Other than that, it proves to be quite useful

Not a real time tracker
The company sells the watch as a real time tracker but the reality is that it updates every ten minutes. A child can go a long way in ten minutes. Really doesn't work when you want to know where your child IS as opposed to WAS
The response of the company apart from commenting on my other reviews seems to accept that the battery is not up to being a real time scanner - ten minute gaps are not good enough

Very disappointed with customer services after tracker was returned due to being faulty. 3 weeks later still no refund processed!!
I bought atracker for my cat on 21/03. After using it for a week it stopped working.
I sent few emails reporting the fault and received a quick reply with steps to follow to get tracker working again. After following the steps, the tracker was still faulty so few more emails exchange asking for a refund.
Eventually I was giving the information in how to return the tracker and that the return fee would be paid by me (around £5 for sign for). The tracker was returned on 06/04.
On 11/04, Sam emailed me advising that tracker was received and refund was being processed.
3 weeks later and NO refund credited in my credit card. I sent 3 emails to Ubeequee helpdesk with only automated reply advising that someone would contact me within 24/48 hours.
As I was not contacted, on 28/04 I sent another email directly to Sam and got a reply from her on same day stating and I quote: ..." I will be in the office at 1.30pm today and will speak to accounts immediately and will be back in touch with you by 2pm. This will be processed today, if it hasn't been up to this point. You should not have to wait so long"...
At that point I felt that Sam was taking the matter seriously however, Sam never got back to me as promised with and update and still no refund!!!
I emailed her again on 01/05 asking for an update but so far still no response!!
I am very disappointment with the service provided by Ubeequee and start to believe that I have been scammed!
They have the tracker back since 06/04 and no sign of refund or justification of why they have not yet processed the refund.
I hope that my and other customers reviews that experienced or are experiencing the same issue as mine, will help new customers make up their mind before buying from this company!
I would not recommend this company based on the fact that they have failed to refund me!!
Edit 09/05/23
Hi Mary,
I have just checked my credit card and there is no refund credited whatsoever.
Can you please send me proof of refund to my email address that is registered with ubeequee? Including the date that, was processed?
I have also open a dispute with my bank so expect to be contacted by them for further investigation.
Thanks

A series of unfortunate events.
Now I want to preface this by saying that the idea is great, however at every stage I have ran into problems. I have two kittens that I was letting outside for the first time (they're not the smartest) and I wanted to make sure they're safe before I do so, hence buying trackers off Ubeequee. However due to many many issues, it was almost a month later before the kittens could actually go out - so this delayed my own timeline which also wasn't fair on the kittens.
1) Ordered 2 on Amazon on 7th March, only 1 arrived. Messaged, received apology, said that we will receive the second one two days later. We didn't, it was almost two weeks before the second one arrived which is ridiculous already. Because of this, we lost out on our first weeks free subscription for the first collar (we aren't gonna let one cat out and keep and the other in, that's not fair). We were told on Amazon that we would get two weeks free subscription added on for the inconvenience but that never happened.
2) Then we set them both up, however one was set up fine but the other wasn't working. We contacted Ubeequee who said that it was left on test mode and that it should work now as they had reset the tracker. However they reset the wrong tracker (because we have two) so we still only had one working tracker. We then contacted Ubeequee again to reset the correct one which they eventually did a few days later. So it has now been over a week since the second collar arrived and yet it still isn't working because it took a few days for them to reset it, and then another few days to reset the correct one. So now we're at three weeks since ordering these and our cats are still not outside. And because that took a week, it means we lost our free first week subscription for the second collar too! So now we are out at least two free weeks and we've been paying money since the start - I do think that Ubeequee should be more contactable. I messaged on Instagram and to this day have still not received a response. There is no phone number, only emails which are not efficient if you're on a time limit. So due to this, we just weren't overly satisfied, it was more hassle than it was worth. Now that we have the trackers, it's fine. They work ok, they give an estimated GPS of your cat, and the battery seems to deplete quite quickly. In the app, you also have to wait a good few minutes for it to update which can be annoying. There are benefits to this, but unfortunately we just didn't receive the service that we should have and we do feel a bit cheated (they aren't cheap). Overall, good idea but needs more customer service and attention to detail. It was just a series of unfortunate events with us and it impacted myself, my partner and our cats!
Edit 16/06: I have been charged for two months for two trackers (total £20) when I was assured that I would not be, as some free months were added on. I have attempted to contact Ubeequee for a refund but nobody has responded to me - poor service, and no follow through when solution is offered (subscription should not have been charged).

Since I got the tracker it was…
Since I got the tracker it was literally a life saver for my blind cat. It tracks well and I can set a perimeter with warnings. I recently cancelled my subscription and was dealt with such kindness and compassion. Support has always been prompt and helpful with any minor issues I had.
I cannot recommend the tracker and support staff more highly.
I’d be lost without it
I researched many trackers suitable for cats and went with the Ubeequee cat. It works off GPS and small enough to fit on a regular safety collar. The renewable data subscription is very reasonably priced. Customer Service have been really helpful whenever I’ve had to contact them. My orders have always arrived quickly and on time - my cat has lost a couple of collars on private land and although I could pinpoint where there were, I was unable to retrieve them. As my cat has a habit of getting into scrapes, I switched the tracker-cover D-rings, for a couple of smaller ones which fit snugly. Neither size seem to bother my cat though. GPS tracking can take a bit of getting used to and is different to a mobile phone version. Sometimes the location on the app can show a general area if the signal is blocked, eg when my cat is crouched under a vehicle, but corrects itself once the signal is picked up again and the location refreshed. The app does have a few quirks but I’d say stick with it because once you get used to it, it’s really good and good value for money too. My cat roams quite far and the tracker gives me extra reassurance. I’d be lost without it!
With holding money when item is returned
Tracker was returned and signed for on the 28th March, after sending a number of emails I was told my refund would be received by the 14th april, I’m still here with no refund and you have the item returned, my emails are now being ignored so I have issued you a 7 day grace period to refund me in full otherwise I will be issuing court proceedings for my refund, of which you will then be liable for the court fees too. This is unacceptable that you are holding onto customers money when there is evidence of you having the item back along with an email admitting that you have received it…..very disappointing
Proof of this return was sent over to you on the 8th April, of which you responded to say the refund would be processed and in my account by Friday 14th April.

The 4 g tracker is USELESS
The 4 g tracker is a useless piece of crap. Apart from a longer battery life, it is inferior to every other track out there. Don’t buy it cause it’s a total waste of money. Their customer service is crap too. No telephone number, just silly email replies. Stay away from ubeequee! Other trackers are available.

Feels like a scam - will be reporting to BBC's 'Fake Britain'
I bought the GPS tracker watch for my mother who has Alzheimer's. It was meant to take a little of the stress out of life as she wanders and gets lost -in reality dealing with this company could just be the final straw that tips me over the edge.
Watch and 2 years subscription set up. Arrived promptly. Didn't work. Followed all the trouble shooting fact sheets on the website but they didn't solve the issues. Emailed several times - no response to any email (and yes, I checked junk mail). In frustration, I returned the watch and found a different email address for Sam, who I notified of the issues and lack of response. She replied quickly, telling me how appalled she was with the service, that she would look into it and that as soon as the watch was received she would process the refund at speed to compensate for my frustration. I never heard from her again. Royal Mail tracking shows the watch was signed for and delivered some time back - no refund yet. I have emailed Sam a few times to follow up, still no responses and no refunds. Whilst the company may not be actively trying to scam customers, the dire level of service certainly makes it feel like that is the intention. As a result of no response and not being able to find any other options for redress I shall be contacting BBC's Fake Britain, who I know takes a keen interest in companies failing customers with Alzheimer's. If it's this difficult for me to deal with on my mother's behalf, I wonder how much money they've kept from people with Alzheimer's who don't have someone looking out for them?
Refund Requested
Sam, although you contacted me after my initial message on here and advised you would be sending out a replacement watch, its been 2 weeks and still nothing received. Based on this plus the fact that the watch is placing my Mum on the M23 or at the airport when she is indoors (we have sensors fitted in her house so we know when she is indoors) the watch is clearly faulty and therefore we would request a refund. I am happy to return the watch to you if you provide me with a freepost label. I have had to resort to Trust Pilot again as my emails to you go unanswered. Our order number was 71523.
4/4 Mary - yes it is switched off so as stated above as we have not received the replacement watch that was promised 2 weeks ago we longer want a replacement and the watch we have is not fit for purpose as it doesn't alert us when my mum goes outside the geofence which we have set up and it gives false location readings. When someone has dementia and wanders you need to know that the equipment you have purchased to try to keep them safe actually works, so I would politely request that you action the refund.

We got the bell ringing upgrade version…
We got the bell ringing upgrade version sent free of charge as our cat lost the first version which was very generous of Ubeequee so now we ring the bell if we feel he's been out too long and he seems to recognise it so we are ultra ultra happy. We were in Teneriefe North recently and could monitor him in Belfast ..totally fabulous.
No Refund
My mother purchased the tracker watch for my father who has dementia hoping it would allow him to maintain an element of independence knowing that we could track him. This was not the case as the watch rarely updated and when it did the location was wholly inaccurate therefore compromising his safety rather than enhancing it. Whilst we had the watch, customer services were very responsive, however….as product was not fit for purpose and did not do as described on their website we returned it and were given the option of a refund which we accepted. Watch was returned and an email was received stating that a refund was being actioned. No refund has been received to date and we are now well past the 14 day period as set out in their own terms and conditions in which a refund should be completed. Emails have not been responded to and my mother is now out of pocket by £64:98. I would not recommend this product or the company based on the fact that they have failed to refund my mother and leave elderly vulnerable people out of pocket at a time when they can ill afford to lose money like this!

Ubeequee dog tracker
Initially had a problem but Debbie sorted this out, tracker works brilliantly, very good customer service, would definitely use Ubeequee again
It wont fit a cat collar, service very dodgy
I returned the product immediately as it was rather large for my cat and loops were not fit for standard 1cm wide cat collar. I was refunded partially. They kept subscription charge and still charging me not sure how to stop them. No appropriate response from the support team. Had to fight for any refund. Also was instantly told it will come. Well its been about 1.5 months now. Still awaiting for rest of the refund for 2 subscription charges and return postage was over £7 to ensure I can track it. It's been very disappointing service. And I still keep losing money.
