I always wanted to get my son started on this course but between school, sports and the rest i was reluctand.
The lockdown gave me the insentive to try this out and we are extremely pleased.
I installed an email account for my son. The daily briefings are fun for him to read and dont overcrowd my inbox. The parent account option is a nice touch.
He is motivated and learning in a fun way. What more could a parent ask for.
The price is on the higher end of similar products but so is the quality of the product.

Very nice experience, my son is happy with it and learning how to type. A bit expensive though, but good!

mateo2010 is hooked to typetopia. Since we signed up he has been willing to take his lesson everyday. Its very much like a video game, which makes it very appealing for children.

I went to typing classes for two years when i was my son's age and I notice that the way they introduce new letters is about the same but with a lot of fun.

Very good course for the children. They enjoy learning, because it's like a game for them.

It seems to be working fine however, the overal attitude is quite childish.
The amount of e-mails you receive with progress reports are significantly high.
Overall it is a well thought of product, but very obvious that it is built for commercial purposes with little room for individualism.
It lacks international options. We, for example, live in one country but have a different mothertongue. We are using a local qwerty keyboard, which In general is is not an issue, but by the time you get to the special characters, it turns out that typetopia doesn't offer the possibility to modify the layout. I was told to change the physical keyboard. In result also all the keyboards that cross my path in the future.
In the end the best solution they could offer was to exclude special characters from the trainings.
