There should be cabins with balconies for solo travellers. I had to pay for double occupancy to be able to get an outside cabin with a balcony.

Once upon a time a bus from the port to the town was included, just like a tender boat, but not anymore - another hidden expense. Family cabins placed directly above the Squid and Anchor pub, so no chance of a quiet early night with the kids due to the live acts. Poor service at the main dining hall which is latitude. We went 3 times and got forgotten about each time for drinks or the next course. Photos on board are a stupid price of £18 per photo, once upon a time these were reasonably priced. No photos taken of the family at boarding, like a gangway photo to remember the occasion. No photographers waiting at each port with someone dressed like they were from the area. E.g Matador is Spain, Roman centurion in Italy to make it special. Live acts in bars were really poor compared to other cruises we have done. The bar staff will also make you a drink, but only tell you it isnt part of the all inclusive package once it's made, and not before. Overall, we heard great things about Marella but we were disappointed. Not likely to book with them again.

What a fantastic 2 week cruise around the Adriatic and the Aegean. The Voyager is my favourite tui boat. The staff are so friendly, the shows are brilliant and can not fault the food. The heist in the exchange is definitely worth booking.

only problem was the wi-fi purchase £40 did not work, and Tui refused to refund

The crew were universally amazing. Hard working and so very friendly. The nightly shows were the best we’ve seen on Marella. I’m not a buffet person, too stressful and preferred the Kitchens concept on Voyager. The food in the MDR was good and very good throughout. Only big disappointment was when we booked we were sure to visit Menorca but when we arrived on board we were advised it had been switched to Sardinia and I’d particularly wanted to see Menorca. Marella excursions were very good if a little pricey

We have boarded 3 Marella Cruises now, Discovery 1,2 and Voyager. They have different characteristic but love Voyager the most. They have fantastic team entertainer, better inside cabin, clean and have better spaces for clothes and everything else. And better TV channel that is work. Next Marella Cruises- Explorer.

Our 2nd Marella cruise. There were 9 of us in total, the Mrs, me, 6 kids ranging from 13 to 26 and 1 partner. Booking was more difficult than the first time as I had to book each group separately for everything we did (trips, meals, etc). I eventually had to go to a local Tui shop, 15mls away, and book it through them. Otherwise, the cruise itself, was fantastic. Great shows every evening, great food with a good choice. Attentive staff. Room made up twice a day. Well organised trips ashore. Just one downside. Our first cruise was on the older ship Discovery 2. The Voyager is a newer ship but no where as glamorous or special looking inside as Discovery 2. The rooms on Voyager were smaller than Discovery 2 and there was a constant vibration and rattle from inside the cabin walls, especially noticeable whilst trying to get to sleep. 2 of our group had a forward cabin which was vibrating to the point of things falling off shelves. I'm sure if you had cabins on the higher decks it wouldn't be a problem. So, although we'll happily use Marella again, we won't be cruising on Voyager.

First time on a cruise. Would definitely be going on another one, and would highly recommend a cruise to anyone who is considering doing one. Everything that you needed was at hand and the staff were very professional. Food was excellent and the service was very good.

Was put in a cabin that was over the propellers it was shaking the bed and the noise was just unbelievable, never in this life time should anyone who pays that sort of money for a life time experience be put in a room like that it’s totally unacceptable

Cruise was brilliant but still trying to chase the money they put on hold when registering a card as they take it twice (nobody tells you this) so now three weeks later and still waiting for money to go back into my bank
