The interview process

The interview process, documentation was awesome. It was made clear, concise and less stressful with help of Monika Kaszuba who has been in contact with me and always give me guides when ever i call upon. She has been of immense help and her guide and assistance has been of immense value to me throughout this period.

I have just had a partial hip…

I have just had a partial hip replacement at the Golden Jubilee Hospital and Conference centre This is not what you have come to expect from the NHS this is quality and quantity at its best a big round of applause for everyone at the hospital The whole thing runs like clockwork with attention to detail and compassion. The hotel attached gives better rates if you have someone attending.Private or NHS it does not matter you are in safe hands

My experience of handling prostrate Cancer

Raigmore Hospital Inverness. From being diagnosed with prostrate cancer around a year ago i can only describe the treatment by the Hospital, Doctors and Nurses as absolutely incredible. They have made a difficult time as good as possible. Ward 2 take a bow for being so caring and efficient.

Avoid Raigmore hospital Inverness like…

Avoid Raigmore hospital Inverness like the plauge! I was in there for nearly 6 hours yesterday as I have a very bad hernia and it's constantly in pain. I've been on the waiting list for nearly 10 months to get it operated on and told I would be a priority ha ha don't make me laugh. I was totally disgusted yesterday when they told me they only had one Surgeon on to cover the whole of the hospital, which I believe is a lie! I tell you one thing, if my hernia becomes strangulated and I get sepsis, I will be sueing the NHS for everything! Total disgrace!

NHS saved my life, grateful

I can't find an English site for NHS. My major heart surgery was in England; amazing service, good result, varied food, caring staff. An incredible service about which we should not be complacent, saved my life. (In comparison, French private service said i had '10-15 years before open heart surgery'. NHS said '10-15 minutes and you'll be in an ambulance to St Thomas' Hospital.'

The quiet giant - THANK YOU NHS

The NHS was helped to an extraordinary level my mum when she had breast cancer. They identified her cancer after she discovered a new lump as cancer from a biopsy, operated on mum to remove the lump and gave her radiotherapy. This gave my mum Mary an extra four years of life before the cancer metastasised. Further chemotherapy was tried, but the tablets made her severely ill, so she stopped taking the drug and died a year later. The NHS were brilliant in trying to save mum. We were helped at Raigmore hospital and the welcome from the oncology dept was the most kind I have ever witnessed. The consultant female oncologist was cold and dispassionate(biscuit factory engineer), but all other staff were 10/10 and understood mum's predicament. Blood bikes came from Glasgow when mum REALLY needed it, though the blood samples were lost...twice! They are not perfect but human, kind, knowledgeable and persistent. Mum said she was too embarrassed to die as the NHS had done so much to save her....chin up to the end. God bless ma wee mum. God bless the NHS, the best of all of us.

Had a lovely stay in Carstairs

Had a lovely stay in Carstairs. Seen a big improvement over the years with better trained staff and improved facilities. Food has improved since my last stay, breakfast continues to be my favourite meal by a hogs breath. If and when I get out I'll no doubt miss my fellow guests, all sound as a pound contrary to what other say. Cant wait to see how many free nights I'll be credited when leaving, hopefully enough for a short stay at Dartmoor.
