Very poor unresponsive Customer Service damaged goods

Purchased several boxes and several months worth of treats. My last box of treats came in a mailing bag. Every treat they sent was smashed and destroyed because it was sent in a bag. Tried to email them several times to get it refund or replacement. I and enclosed all the pictures in my emails to show that my stuff was damaged and destroyed. They do not respond to my emails.

Shipping countries

I was signing up then realised I couldn’t! Because it only ships to America and I’m in Australia. I wish they’d ship to other countries too!

Tiny Tiny package with little food

The concept sounded great when I saw a Groupon for this company so signed up. What I received was shocked at how tiny it was - 9"x 5.5" x 3" box. I paid $18 for it off a Groupon so was expecting many items to explore. Instead it had 3 tiny 1.5 oz bags of chip type treats(very small but tasty), some peppermint tablets and a very small bite of chocolate. There could have not been more than $3 worth of food in it…. Truly shocking… How do they stay in business?

Serbian treats packaged as ‘croatian’

They sent a box of treats from ‘croatia’ to a influencer for a tiktok post. Most of the food was actually serbian and made in serbia with clear labels which say made in serbia😂 embarrassing for a company to fail at reading a basic label and irresponsible to spread misinformation and falsehood. Learn to read, perhaps?

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience with Try Treats was beyond disappointing. The box arrived late, the packaging was sloppy, and several of the snacks were either expired or crushed. There was no clear theme, and most of the items looked like generic supermarket products nothing unique or exciting as advertised.

Customer service was unresponsive when I reached out to report the issues. I felt completely ignored. For the price, I expected a curated, high-quality experience. What I got felt like random leftovers thrown in a box.

Save your money and try something else. This was a huge letdown.

Enjoyed it then was easy to work with when I was done

It is common nowadays that I feel a certain sense of hesitancy when signing up for anything, even just giving out my email address has become something I recognize as potentially opening me up to years of emails from the organization themselves plus any of their "partners" whom they sell my data to, or their partners' partners, etc. Giving billing information is a whole other level of trust. I haven't used this service in years now, so the basis of this review is having not one of these problems with them!

I enjoyed the snacks while I used the service.

I was able to easily cancel when I was ready to discontinue receiving them just due to a life change that made it no longer make sense for me - nothing wrong with the snacks; they were fun :)

Yesterday I requested they go ahead and complete a data erasure request to try to limit the amount of data breaches I am likely to be involved in, and they replied quickly and respectfully to get the request started, and completed it in a very timely manner without attempting to require unnecessary hoops for me to jump through to secure my own personal information. This was very refreshing when the exact opposite is so often the posture of companies these days.

Overall, I have by all accounts had a 5-star experience working with them (from a customer service perspective) and their product was great when I was wanting it. Ironically it was never impressive enough (one way or the other) to drive me to leave a review. It was exactly what I wanted, and I never had any issues, so I think I would have left a 4 or 5 star review already, but this dedication to customer service is what really drove me to actually take time out of my day to *leave* the review at all- if that makes sense.

Not at all what we were expecting

Not at all what we were expecting. Apparently pretzels are common treats all over the world because our treat boxes have been pretzels, pretzels, and more pretzels. Poor product based on lack of diversity. I feel like they could do so much better than just recycling various pretzels

The Peanubutter box is here!!

My company gave these as gifts for us for an entire year. Very quickly they earned the the name "PeanutButter Box" from the pet store commercial as everyone got very excited for their arrival. Our internal chats would start announcing "The peanut butter box is here!" when they came and everyone would pick their favorites and discuss on one of our internal meetings. It added something so fun to look forward to every month.

Unique and fun party idea!

I used Treats for an adult get together. We had so much fun sampling and rating the treats. Fun and educational. I definitely recommend.

Order for a three month gift they got…

Order for a three month gift they got one and then nothing! Tryed email and call and nothing like no one even working!
They did get ahold of me and as explained what happened and apologize and it look like thing are back In order and should be getting my next box! I will up date when I get my shipping confirmation and if that happens I will be happy to move my stars up! The one box I did get I was very happy with and if all my other boxes are the same I most likely be ordering more!
The box is on its way I’m happy!!!

Had an issue but CS was QUICK to fix

EDIT. I changed my review to 5 stars
because Customer Service was lightening fast to fix my issue. They do care about their customers. Thank you EDIT The packages are good. But the shipping is awful. I have one box that got shipped out late Jan and then another on Feb 28. I've not received either. The one mailed late Jan has not moved since Feb 28th. The company needs to get more reliable shipping.

Be Careful

Just so that eveyone knows. I signed up for this Treats box (thought it would be fun for my grandson). I got charged double the amount, the website did not give me a chance to put in the disount code, and there is no phone number to contact them (uncomfortable for me when you cannot call a vendor). Difficult to find a way to get to your account. I could not cancel online. Finally emailed them to cancel. Let's see what happens. If you decide to buy, be careful.
