Blocking my bank's fraud hotline on Truecaller has resulted in missed important calls and financial losses due to scammers. This behavior is unacceptable and may even constitute criminal conduct. It's evident that Truecaller cannot be relied upon and may pose significant risks to users' security and financial well-being.

Wow! I really need to research things before trying. They are totally scammers and I am so frustrated and angry! I cannot get them off my d*** phone no matter what I do. They just play all kinds of little tricks to prevent you from getting rid of them! I am so angry I’m ready to report these jerks to the attorney generals office. Seriously, someone needs to look into this. 😡😡😡

Very user unfriendly. Advertised as free, however if you pay....Invasive on privacy. A pain in the neck. I deleted it after using it for 2 months. Found a much better app.

True Caller really missed the boat. I have been using the Calls Blacklist app which was wonderful until it stopped working on my S24. I switched to True Caller and it was worse than the spam texts and calls. I want an app that prevents spam without bothering me. No popups or sound to alert me that a spammer called or texted. I want to add numbers to a whitelist or have my contacts considered the whitelist and all others don't get through. A log showing the rejected texts or calls is great. Why have a spam blocker if it interrupts you. The chat feature is really annoying especially the business chat and tips.

I didn't even have the app but I was told by someone who did have it that my name when texting came up as something explicit and not my name .I can't believe technology how someone can shame you for all to see ,you can't even have a voice .

It never blocked any #s. I would still get the same numbers calling, showing blocked. Previously, it has been flaky and I decided to upgrade to get more features, which did not work. So I uninstalled the upgrades. Now It is calling blocked numbers, even when Im trying to send texts to other contacts or numbers. So, I uninstalled.

I boycott true caller because the government of Sweden allowed to burn Quran holy book for Muslim this not a right to burn any religious book

I wanted to use the site because lately I am being called several times a day by unknown foreign numbers, but when I try to use the site it asks me for access to my telephone contacts.

True caller is just another evasive app that lies to you on there privacy policy, they have Google embedded in their app so they allow Google to steal all your personal information, Google and one more company is embedded inside there app and they track you even when you close the app.
These companies that bow to Google like sheep (Sheeple) I have no use for in my world.
Just a heads up, don't install their app, they will steal all your contacts and when you question them about lying about their privacy, they will start spamming you with allowing company's to text you, companies that they share your information with, and they are in bed with Google, that last company says it all.

Scammers! They make you sign in with Google and attempt to gain ACCESS to your contacts! I denied and didn't click continue. What a bunch of scammers!

I gave it one star because I have to give it something to leave my remarks. HORRIBLE SERVICE. I can’t seem to be able to talk to anyone at the company. I have several complaints!!
1) I have not been able to get any of my calls or messages!!!
I’m right by the phone and it doesn’t even ring. The person trying to call me is not able to leave a message. My drs are not able to get a hold of me.
2) I’m having heart surgery soon and need to be able to have my drs call me..
3) I’ve cancelled the service but they won’t shut it off until 11/27. I need it cut off NOW!!!
4) the form they have you fill out during the complaint asks for A DATE of my experience. It isn’t just one day, this has been happening since I started this stupid service which by the way is USELESS!!!

will not let me deactivate my account. My calls get forwarded to an assistant I do not have anymore. I have entered the number they gave me *730 to take care of everything but not valid. I have a small business and I can't have my calls go to a ghost assistant bypassing my voicemail. I have uninstalled app, sent them a support ticket but nothing works

DO NOT TRUST THESE MONSTERS. I used to have the App 3 years ago, but I canceled the service after 2 months, then 2 years ago, Truecaller sent me a list of spam calls, and I got it thinking it was good. I have been in a long time medical treatment, and I had issues not getting phone calls from my doctors, nurses, labs, and normal people. I had complaints from several people. So I took my iPhone to T-mobile, and they realized that the list sent by Truecaller contained hundreds of numbers of hospital, clinic, lab numbers, and regular people's phone numbers. So basically they cannot reach me.
I have been desperate to delete the list on my iPhone, so I contacted them and I never had a reply, but 3 months ago I got the app again only to communicate with these people to ask them to please delete the list, the list I never asked for and I wrote 'Please delete the list of spammers you sent me 2 years ago without asking you'' I have pics and emails of the proof I ask Truecaller to please delete the list. But all they did was change the subject and in the last email, they just washed their hands. Unbelievable. Why are they in business?
Also, during these 3 months, my insurance company was trying to talk to me, but they couldn't reach me so they sent me an email, Of course, Truecaller assumed it was a spam number. Not all 1800 numbers are spams. I have pics to prove it. Do these monsters even call the numbers to make sure they are really spam callers?
Truecaller. Who are you? Do you have peace when you go to sleep at night?
I canceled the service because you didn't take the list of spammers you sent me 2 years ago, and 3 days ago I asked for my money back of the 3 months I paid waiting for you to delete the list of spammers, and I am still waiting for my money back.
I know you are in India, in that country you do wherever you want. If you were here, I will take you to Curt. I have proof of what I am saying by doctors, nurses, and agents from labs who cannot reach me, and the list is there on my iPhone. Of course, I will gain the case and I will be happy that you are out of business. You are a disgrace.

Have had Truecaller for a long time. Renewed the subscription through Apple App Store on the 30th June 2023, only to have the premium plan disconnected on the 17th July 2023. If this is how they treat their clients, they can bugger off, and I will never do business with them again.
