The place is a scam

The company in general is a SCAM.
They pretend to sell out premium hotel rooms in other countries and in exchange give them the rent received for renting out the rooms, but then they turn their backs and the buyers never get any of the money back, and the room is in much worse state than advertised. The buyers can’t fight it in court because the rooms are sold cross countries through other larger firms.
My friend( a buyer) and I visited her room recently and it was in an awful state as well. There’s at least 100 of these people who have been tricked into handing in lump sums.
Basically BEWARE, don’t BUY, and don’t RENT from them.

Budget stay near Gatwick – exactly what we expected

We stayed at Trivelli’s Hotel because we were looking for a budget-friendly option close to Gatwick, and that’s exactly what we got. It’s a very no-frills place – the rooms are basic and the carpets weren’t properly fitted, with some noticeable lumps on the floor. That said, the beds were comfortable, and the linen was spotless and crisp white, which made for a decent night’s sleep.

A big shoutout to the gentleman at the front desk, who was extremely kind, polite, and helpful – definitely one of the highlights of our stay.

Do be cautious with transportation though – while the hotel is only about 6 miles from the airport, our taxi cost £50, which came as a surprise. In hindsight, we might have been better off booking a hotel directly at Gatwick once you factor in the extra cost.

Still, for what we paid, it was good value – hence the five stars. Just know what you’re signing up for, and it does the job.

Bad points... its old and needs updating, peeling off wallpaper, scuffed furniture, areas of mold in bathroom and a wonkey toilet seat...

I had an extremely disappointing and…

I had an extremely disappointing and distressing experience with this hotel. When I arrived—after booking and paying in advance—I found the entire reception completely empty. There were no staff present, no instructions, and no way to check in. I was left stranded outside the hotel until 5am with nowhere to go.

This was my first time visiting Nottingham, and I had no knowledge of the area. To make matters worse, my phone had completely died, leaving me without navigation, communication, or access to alternative accommodation. It was an incredibly stressful and unsafe situation.

What’s even more concerning is the complete lack of on-site staff. It raises serious questions about safety—what would happen in the event of an emergency like a fire?

This was not only a waste of money for a service I couldn’t use, but also a deeply troubling experience. I sincerely hope the management takes this seriously and puts appropriate systems and support in place to prevent this from happening to anyone else.

Completely untrustworthy:

Completely untrustworthy:

I booked a room in April for this September and paid the Flexible room rate. Due to a change in my circumstances I have had to cancel the booking and they are now refusing my refund stating that the price was for non refundable. I have screenshots of their website pricing showing the refundable rate I paid. As far as I’m concerned I entered into a contact for a room at a their advertised flexible price which they are now refusing to honour.

Trivelles Regency Nottingham is the…

Trivelles Regency Nottingham is the most disgusting place I’ve ever been to in my life. (Please see trip advisor for pics)
I wasn’t expecting much as we booked last minute and struggled to find a hotel for the night and saw this for £105 for the night but honestly I wouldn’t even pay £5.
First off we turned up at 3pm as advised and there was a queue of around 20 people trying to check in with one member of staff. The reception area was dirty, the seating and the tables were sticky.
Finally after 25 minutes we checked into room 107, where we were greeted with an un cleaned room, please see pictures of this room. There was food on the floor, toilet paper on the floor in the bathroom vapes on the floor. Absolutely DISGUSTING. I then went back to reception where I was told to join the back of queue 😂 after about another 10 minutes of waiting (I didn’t join the back of the queue)I asked for my money back and was told he wasn’t going to do that and gave us another room. This one had been ‘cleaned’ but there was vomit stains up the walls, there was a brown mark on the wall near the bathroom I actually don’t even want to know what it is.
I went through this room pulled back the covers to see hairs in sheets and sweat stains on the pillows.
We turned on the shower that was covered in mould and there was no power or hot water and the floor towel hadn’t been changed and was damp, so we decided to leave.
I went down to reception and gave the keys back and told the man I would get in touch with hotels.com to get our refund he apologised a lot and agreed both rooms where not clean.

Later that evening after we checked into the Hilton we contacted hotels.com and they called Trivelles Regency to get the code from them to issue our refund. The receptionist refused to give the code as the 2nd room we where given had been ‘used’😂😂😂😂 we where there for 20 mins we got changed as we where heading out for the evening and inspected the room and decided it wasn’t safe to even sleep in this room.
I called the receptionist and I told him I was going to charge it back on my credit card as this is ridiculous we hadn’t used the room we inspected it as we had just been put in the most disgusting room.
He told me he didn’t care what I did.

DO NOT STAY HERE, it is the most disgraceful place I’ve ever stepped foot in.

Am in wheelchair.Arrived, no kettle or phone in room.Wheeled back 2 reception.Got kettle but no phone, meaning I had to wheel back to reception if I needed anything! Air con crap, but was a fan,but when switched on it made an awful racket.Had to take in apart&re-assemble it.Couldn't get the shower water hot,so had a cold shower!View from window was a brick wall(so no sun light).Place felt&looked like a prison.Pillows were like rubber.TV had no 'guide' option,so had to scroll through all channels.Wheelchair often got stuck between corner of bed&bathroom wall.Wifi crap-took ages to load a page.Don't go here!

They say you get what you pay for

They say you get what you pay for, yet I’ve paid less and still had a clean room.
Mouldy windows, marks on sheets. Could definitely use a lick of paint. Not sure if the hoover is broken or if the just don’t bother hoovering the floors in the corridors.
Appliances in the rooms ie fridge, microwave are desperately in need of a clean.
Breakfast described as continental however two options of cereal, fruit, bread to me doesn’t cover the meaning of continental.

Plus side. Close to the airport and cheap.

Useless

Booked 4 rooms at the Seaforth Hotel, with 3 friends over 12 months in advance of our stay only to receive an email 3½ weeks before our visit to say the rooms have been cancelled by the hotel. Rang up but got no answer, sent a message via booking.com and 2 weeks later still no reply. No explanation given as to why they were happy to accept our bookings then cancel them 11 months later. Will avoid this hotel chain for any further travelling as clearly the customers are not there priority.

These hotels are low key ,situated in most large city outskirts ,value for money . Availability is good and staff are always at hand , hotel on brooklands rd sale in Manchester is situated in a pivotal location with lovely green surround and lovely character building blending old and new . Some rooms better and larger than others . Enjoy my stays there on a hot day with great gardens for guests.
