I have bought a Cannondale Scalpel…

I have bought a Cannondale Scalpel £6500 Bike from this store when the frame cracked the warranty wasn’t honoured. Initially they tried to sell a new frame at 100% retail and charge me £80 hour for workshop time. They were no help and did offer any concessions despite the frame breaking through normal xc use.
Now the frame has cracked again after a very small amount of riding. They are not replying to my emails , don’t reply to my messages. On two occasions I have got an answer, they have just told me they get back to me with 48 hrs , but then never call. It’s nearly three weeks since I got in contact with them and still no acknowledgement of my warranty claim.
If you buy here be warned there is no customer service!

Too slow

3 and a half weeks to be told half of my order is OOS is a bit rediculous. I'm sure the staff are doing their best, but they must be extremely understaffed if it takes over 3 weeks to despatch a couple of small items, or even check if they're actually in stock. Won't be ordering from TriUK again.

UPDATE: They also left the security tags on :(

Awful customer service

Awful customer service. Purchased a cycling jacket in their sale online , did not for so returned it as per their instructions. Tracked the return and it has been delivered. Have not after nearly 3 months received a refund. They never answer the phone line they don’t respond to emails. Will never use this company again. A shambles.

Terrible service

Ordered a pair of in stock tyres and advised despatch would be in 10-14 days. Tried several ways to contact them for an update and despite the emails I sent, they failed to respond. Their mail order phone line was never answered. Luckily I purchased via PayPal and had to raise a case against them to obtain a refund. They finally admitted they had no stock despite their website still showing the item in stock. Never again will I purchase from this company.

Really bad customer service

Really bad customer service. Made an order on the 29 July and as of the 19 August I am still waiting. No reply to emails and the mailbox when told to leave a message says it is full. I am going to leave it another few days then contact my bank and start a refund claim.

Tri UK 2019 full accounts £1.1m loss

Tri UK would appear to be owned by Mike Ashley’s SportsDirect and was acquired from founders Chris and Ali Boon in 2017. I suspect they are in financial difficulty as they refuse to reply to emails, phone calls or deliver goods customers have ordered. I’ll be reporting them to the office of fair trading as from similar reviews to mine, they are still taking money off retail customers, with no intention of providing the goods you order which is highly illegal as they haven’t filed for insolvency. In April 2019 they filled their company annual report at companies house, making a loss of £1.1m and haven’t filed since.

AVOID

AVOID

Order an item and had to wait 3 weeks before receiving any update at all. The best part being that the update was to let me know that the item was out of stock so couldn't be sent.

Funny that the system works well enough to take my money, but not well enough to know when a product is out of stock.

Let’s be blunt

Let’s be blunt, AVOID buying from this company!

My wife and mine recent experience is same as all other poor reviews on here. Ordered 2 weeks ago. Emailed but No response. Telephoned can’t get through due to full messages. No communication from TriUK to give an update on order status.

It appears now that people need to check trust pilot on all companies in future before making an Order.

There are so many genuine but struggling small businesses out there who are eager to please and satisfy customers experience by sending goods on time and having accurate stock systems and who will communicate delivery status or be available For contact should there be a dispute.

Maybe these small businesses don’t have the buying power of larger companies so
Prices are slightly higher but you would get your goods in a reasonable timescale and have better customer services to resolve any issue. Is that not worth paying a little more for?

Give smaller businesses a chance of Having your hard earned money.

Ordered 23rd July and still heard nothing about my order although as with others money has been taken. Have now tried ringing about 20 times, left emails & messages on facebook but no response. I'll be avoiding the Sports Direct business from now on if this is the way they treat customers.

I placed my order on 27th July and it is 13th August and I have yet to receive any communication regarding delivery and they took my money. I have tried leaving a message but the answer machine is full. Do not use this Company, extremely poor customer service and to take the money with no dispatch is feels like I have been ripped off.

Thank you

Times have been difficult for all companies and although I can understand frustrations expressed by others, we have had a very positive experience. I placed the order and emailed to check delivery, I received an email response which was then followed up with phone calls when stock had become available. The products were picked and sent out straight away. I have a very happy son. The sales advisor was honest and went above and beyond to help to - and she did.Thank you

A complete sham - don't buy anything from TRI UK

Don't order from this company. If I had read the reviews before I ordered, I would have saved myself a lot of annoyance. I ordered a wetsuit on 24 July and the money was taken out of my account. I wasn't informed until 12 August that there was a stock error and of course the wetsuit is out of stock and there is nothing else they can offer me. I'd been planning to use the wetsuit next week, and now I won't have it, and I don't have time to find another option. And who knows who long I will be waiting for the money to be returned to my account? There are hundreds of reviews like this, and yet you can still go to their website and order things. This is a total sham and absolutely appalling.

Poor business practices

Order placed 23rd July, credit card debited - delivery clearly advised at 10-14 working days - ok / understood. Status checked 10th August - packed, ready to despatch. 11th August - sorry, we don't have stock - refund due in a few days. Ok, so I'm not directly out of pocket, but wasted my time - and had use of my funds for almost 20 days. Lesson learnt - should have believed all the other negative reviews. Never again.
