So disappointed with the customer service. I purchased 2 large and 2 cabin suitcases, same model. One of the cabin bags we purchased has no handle on top. We only noticed when using it for a recent trip, it's extremely awkward to carry down stair or put in and out of the overhead cabin. Customer service just advised it was an older model however pictures from their instagram shows a handle on models back to 2022 so sounds like rubbish. All i requested was to send back the one I got and replace it with one with a handle but I was told no.
I'd avoid and purchase somewhere else.

I purchased two XL cases in November 2022 which have completed 5 trips combined.
Both cases after the 5th trip in Oct 2024 have sustained major damage on every corner of the case - 1” cracks & dents rendering one of the cases now unusable as water could get in.
I contacted Tripp directly and submitted photos showing the damage that my case sustained - I fully expect cases to be scuffed and maybe a little dented but I don’t expect a brand that boasts a 10-year guarantee to fail so badly.
I bought an additional cheap case from Amazon - not a scratch!
Unfortunately Tripp deemed the damage to be ‘wear & tear’ and blamed it on the baggage handlers - the cases should be able to withstand being loaded/offloaded and shifting around.
Anyhoo it’s not worth a fight about it so I’ll stick to Samsonite from now on - those things go forever.

Bought two cases, used once both cases after one flight unusable again, handle damage on one, the cases shells dented. Understand if it was one, but two really ! Still waiting a response from Tripp after sending photos and video. Emails are bouncing back !

We recently bought a suitcase for our upcoming holiday to Italy. Unfortunately, the case was damaged during the flights - the handle was torn off and the zip lock was rendered unusable. We have had suitcases from Tripp for many years which have not been damaged. I contacted Customer Services and received a prompt response from Kaye who quickly dealt with our complaint and we received a replacement suitcase within the week. Whilst I have concerns about the quality of the case, I cannot fault the service I received from Customer Services and the manner in which my complaint was dealt with and a replacement given.

Purchased soft shell suitcase in March 24, after one return flight it showed signs of wear, wasn’t happy at the time and emailed customer services. They were not interested in my concerns. The next flight I took, the suitcase split on one corner, so I actually couldn’t use it to fly home. I had to borrow a larger suitcase and put mine inside. Photos and emails were sent to customer services but they are adamant that this is wear and tear. I’m adamant that it’s shoddy workmanship and faulty. I already have a Tripp suitcase that is in better condition than this one and it’s been used on around 20 flights at least. I have asked customer services to collect the suitcase so they can run tests on it. Customer services are actually now ignoring my emails, they have not responded to the last 3 emails I have sent. Having to edit post as reply doesn’t give number to get in touch. Order number T272104862

Took our suitcases on holiday for the first time since purchase. Scuffs and missing paint peeling away after first use. Contacted Melissa at customer service and was told this was down to general wear and tear, and not covered. Should paint be peeling off a brand new product on the first use? A few other peoples cases I saw on the flight didn’t have this amount of damage.

Recently made an order for a 3 piece set and I'm very happy with the quality, very smooth movement and safety features work perfectly.
I had to change the order due to import issues and the customer service was very friendly and efficient.

Original ordered never arrived… Contacted customer service, dealt with Sasha who was very helpful and efficient… she arranged for a new order to be sent out which arrived within a few days… I had ordered the cases for a holiday however they arrived 2 weeks after we returned so a bit disappointing… Overall very pleased with the cases, look sturdy and bought in the sale so got them for a great price! ;)

Bought some luggage on line - ended up not travelling so no longer needed.
I have contacted customer service email as advised to process a return - no response despite 3 emails. I did receive a feedback request to review my purchase. Called an outlet store, where the manager promised to email head office - this was 3 weeks ago. The manager reported on holiday the 2 times I called again to chase up. Not able to find a phone contact for head office. So not happy. Money tied up and a massive parcel sitting in my hall way.

We have been buying Tripp luggage for 12-15 years and would buy again. We travel a lot and baggage handlers can be brutal with suitcases but our cases normally survive. I like the zip lock system, hard outer case and the mesh zipped divider inside

The service is absolutely terrible. Finding a telephone number is a minefield pushing you to send a form at all cost. Then replies are so slow or inexistant. Then comes to the return, they received mine on the 8th and they don't bother to email you to let you know. Proof of delivery showed on the 8th, 5 days later still nothing. and Of course no refund yet as you have to wait up to 10 days. Quality of the product is as bad as the service.
Customer Service on the phone if you are lucky to speak to someone is not apologetic, doesn't seem to care one bit. Poor service I will not recommend to buy from Tripp or if you do buy the same suitcase from Amazon.

I recently purchased a suitcase but when I received it I realised I should have ordered the smaller size. Contacted Customer Service immediately by email and received a reply within a few hours. Returning the case was not a problem and everything was dealt with promptly and efficiently. Package was collected and I was refunded within a few days. Brilliant company to deal with. Thank you to Dawn who looked after everything for me.

I bought a suitcase in December 2023 and in July 2024 I informed the company that it had developed a fault. Their customer service could not have been better! I uploaded pictures of the fault, along with my guarantee, and they replaced the suitcase immediately - delivered to my door. The whole process was seamless and professional. Such a positive and pleasant experience.

Beware if you want to return some or all of your order. Although the cases seem fine I returned half of the order as it was too small and re ordered a bigger one. Was told to take the case to the nearest DPD drop off point. The shop refused to take it saying he didn't have room. I then had to drive 4 miles to another one as others nearer were closed (then 4 miles back). Why let DPD have the contract when most of the drop off points are so small they won't take a big box? Wasted time and money.

I received a damaged suitcase. Contacted them straight away. No answer. Have sent four emails in two weeks , including photos. NO RESPONSE. No phone number, terrible customer service , actually there isn’t any service . Will be contacting my credit card company at the end of the week for a refund, if I don’t get a response. If Tripp actually read these reviews , this is my order number : T272307532

I have been trying to return two suitcases since July 14th. I have been told multiple times a slot has been booked with Fastway - I have stayed home on these multiple days despite having children and I also should be in the office. I have printed new Pick up forms to place on the box as each new date and time comes and goes and I have to reach out and still nothing. It has been over 2 week. The large box is still in my hallway, I have not had a refund and the items have not been picked up. I am aware this is a courier issue but I don't think Tripp should be using a courier that is so unreliable.

I bought a Tripp Black Full Circle II 4 Wheel Large Suitcase in July 2022 and on first use, the wheel fell off it. We notified Tripp and they sent a replacement . The replacement case has only been used twice since then and on the second use the wheel fell off so obviously there was a defect in this model. The case had a 5-year guarantee so I contacted them again and after a lot of messaging sending photos etc they eventually stated:
'This particular type of damage falls outside the scope of our guarantee coverage. Based on our experience and industry knowledge, damage such as wheels being knocked off is often caused by external factors beyond our control, such as rough handling during airline baggage transportation.'
We fly a lot and I know the cases take a battering in the airports but this is the first time we have lost wheels on any of our other suitcases ( including much cheaper brands ) What is the use of a 5 year guarantee when basic defects like this are not covered. Avoid this company at all costs
Tried to email the address you gave in your reply but it bounced back .the case was bought via Amazon Order # 204-0340126-1801960

I bought a cabin bag from the website - one wheel shredded on the first day of me using it and now I can hardly pull or control the suitcase while wheeling it. On the second day I was caught in a few minutes of downpour and this hard case suitcase got soaked! Half of my clothes were totally wet inside.
There were no warnings that a hard case suitcase wouldn’t be waterproof …?! And then I was told by customer service that they don’t say it’s waterproof so this is not something they can help with. They also said the wheel problem isn’t a structural problem and they can’t give me a refund. They offered a replacement which, understandably, why would I want after an experience like this?
It has also been rather poor customer service with slow back and forth.

I ordered the underneath cabin bag in the colour 'Marle' with the orange stripe on Thurs 27th June. Arrived Saturday 29 June. Really good quality and robust bag. It has good compartments inside and out and contrary to one review the shoulder strap does have a pad to stop it slipping off the shoulder. Excellent
