Useful site to share your experience with hotels, restaurants and sightseeing so that others can benefit. Great place to check out in advance when you are thinking of booking yourself.
Normally you can find really good reviews, but also some that you would not really trust.

A good way to share experiences and what could be the comment deciding what activity to choose.

Chandra Ban Retreat is a tranquil spot right on the outskirts of Kathmandu, up on the mountain side, with a wonderful view. Their garden is a great place for recovery after a busy day in Kathmandu.

The vegetarian food is very tasty and varied. Enjoying their delicious breakfast in the garden is also a good start to the day.
The staff are very nice and try to help with what you want. The rooms are clean and very fresh and additionally cozy.

If you are interested in yoga there is also a very nice yoga studio at your disposal.

I stayed at Chandra Ban in October 2018 and 2019 and I really love this place so I will definitely return. Therefore, I can highly recommend this peaceful and wonderful place.

Tripadvisor gives real value when I travel around the world looking for hotels, restaurants and things worth seeing. Regardless of being on Business or as tourist I simply find want I need..

Tripadvisor isthe best website to check before and during your travel. Not only because it works as plenty other webpage which compares the prices of the accommodation, but mostly because you get to see the real pictures of how the venues look like without photoshop and you get to read the true reviews without sugarcoating.

Tripadvisor is a reference when choosing a restaurant or a hotel. Also gives you some insight into what to do on a new location. My only problem is that you can't look something up without getting mail after mail about the location. At least it would be good to be able to tell that you already been there.....

I think it’s great how much use I’ve had of TripAdvisor on my travels through the world. It’s helped me organize everything from bus tours, hotels, guides, restaurants etc

Excellent tool for finding the restaurant which meets your needs/wishes.
However, would be good if you could download a specific city to make it easier to use the app when travelling.

I use this platform to get the “visitors eye” on sites and restaurants. No travel agent in the world can inform you like this platform. Most of the time we totally agree with previous reviews, and I always try to write as useful information as possible.

Love this forum, it’s of great help when you are visiting a new town or even your hometown!

Some times it's not for help.
Many reviews are too high and not reflect the real value of the place.
I'm generally trying to add reviews on every place I visit but TripAdvisor is not that user friendly to write the first review every time. But once you wrote one review you are stuck and it's not easy to leave the site.
As advice from my side, I thing it should be easier to find how to add review in TripAdvisor, this what you looking for and want people do. So why not adding big button on the main page of TripAdvisor 'write review'?
In 2 times, TripAdvisor removed my reviews without to share the reason with me. I think this is very serious issue that will not make me feel to add new reviews on the feature.

I have found unforgettable nuggets I happily recommended, and have also been able to avoid some pitfalls.I'm honest in my reviewing and I find that the others who contribute also are honest.
