Ed checked our trees as being safe and healthy with the exception of an ash tree which presented a hazard and needed to be dealt with urgently. The tree was felled by Thorman Tree and Landscaping a few days later and its perilous state was confirmed when this was done. The felling was well done and everything was cleared away in good time.
Ed Thorman was one of five contractors we contacted and received quotes from. We did not select the cheapest but, as we experienced, Ed and his team were superb value for money and provided a top quality service.
We required removal of long boundary hedges, to be replaced by concrete and wood panel fencing, and the removal of several trees. Ed explained all our options, provided valuable advice and continually checked that he was meeting our requirements. Despite experiencing unexpected difficulties (eg three previous fences within the hedges!), Ed dealt with each issue as it arose and found a suitable solution, checking with us at every opportunity. Not only was the work completed efficiently, it was to the highest quality. So much so that we have had several enquiries from neighbours for Ed's details.
Above all, Ed was helpful, friendly and made us feel that our work was important. Ed and his team seemed to take great pride in their work.
