It takes a while for them to kick it in after being out of the hospital. So we stayed in a hotel for 6 days until they made first class arrangements for travel, etc. Still waiting for reimbursement... See more

With over 30 years of experience, 2,000+ partners, and 10 million+ trips protected, Travel Insured International delivers robust travel protection plans designed to fit every traveler and every trip. Whether you’re planning a family vacation, a luxury cruise, or a once-in-a-lifetime adventure, our suite of products offers flexible coverage and 24/7 non-insurance traveler support so you can travel with confidence.
Q: How much does travel protection cost?
A: The cost of our travel protection plans depends on various factors, including trip cost, travel dates, and level of coverage selected. Some of our plans can often be cost-effective for families, as children 17 and under may be included at no additional cost. It’s important to compare our plans and review the plan details to make sure the coverage meets your specific needs. If you want exact pricing, you can get a quote online at any time or contact our Customer Care team for assistance. All plans contain insurance benefits and non-insurance travel assistance services.
Q: What is the Optional Cancel or Interrupt for Any Reason Bundle?
A: The Optional Cancel or Interrupt for Any Reason Bundle allows you to cancel or interrupt your trip for reasons not otherwise covered by your plan. This option adds flexibility if something personal or unexpected causes you to change plans. You may be eligible for partial reimbursement, when the reason for cancellation or interruption falls outside the listed covered reasons. Additional cost and terms apply.
Q: What is the difference between Trip Cancellation and Trip Interruption coverage?
A: If you are not able to take your trip due to a covered reason you would file a Trip Cancellation claim. If you have already departed for your trip and have to return home for a covered reason you would file a Trip Interruption claim. See our chart for Trip Cancellation and Trip Interruption covered reasons.
Q: How do I get help or file a claim while traveling?
A: Our 24/7 Traveler Support Service is available worldwide. You can reach us at 1-800-494-9907 (U.S./Canada) or 1-603-328-1707 (International). Claims can be filed online at www.travelinsured.com/claims.

Still waiting on my claim to be processed. It's taken from january 28th of this year up until last week which is the week of June 20th to get the final documents for my claim. When you ask staff questions, they're very blunt, they are very short... they seem to never answer questions and always walk around the question when asking about the time frame. And I was told now that they got ever they can finalize the claim but it goes in the order my documents were received. Which all of our documents turned in Quite a while back. They were waiting on the a booking company to forward them the information they Needed.. definitely would not recommend this company at this point in time unless they can get things handled pretty quickly. We will not be using them regardless of their rating on our next cruise. This spring

Our insurance claim was denied and I understand some of the complicated policy terms and limits. However, I question the company’s policy on purchasing the policy. We booked our trip almost a year in advance when we realized we were not already insured, we purchased a policy with only a little over a month of being insured. The agent selling the policy quickly took our $1300 We did not realize that all that happened medically for the previous 11 months would be considered pre existing. So the money was totally wasted and the company representative should have told us that. What is your policy with selling the insurance for such a short time and charging full price and no warning of what would be covered ? Thank you and looking forward to your reply

I was misled by your employee, Marimar Lacandola. And because I trusted for her to guide me correctly, I ended up OVER spending more than one thousand dollars. I tried to call and get a different travel advisor but I was unable to. I was told to call the number if I needed something, but email is always more convenient for me. I told Marimar that I wanted to work with someone else, and she wouldn't assist me in that either. So, overall, it was a disappointing experience.

Necessary to have the travel insurance for Africa but to us it’s on the expensive side.

Because of a prior incident when we had to cancel a major trip but had travel insurance, we always opt in. TII is our choice. Thankfully, we have not had to submit any claims.

I had a trip to Europe planned that needed to be cancelled due to a family medical issue. I had the entire total for the trip covered with Travel Insured International. I submitted my claim with EVERY possible receipt and copy of the terms and conditions possible. I absolutely did my due dilligence. I submitted the claim on February 10, 2026 and received 87% of my submitted claim on April 16, 2026. The game they play is taking months of rht claim to be processed and continually asking for additional supporting documents, even though everything has already been submitted. They wear you down so you will just give up. They still owe me over $1000 and their tactic has worked. I am exhausted from searching for additional supporting documents, sending them in and them getting lost in the abyss. I will not use this company again, nor will I recommend them.
