Simple and quite quick online procrsd…
Overall the system and processes are very easy and quick to order online and organise a pickup which was from a post office. Even when the Travelex kiosk is less than 100 metres away. Although the payment system was not what I expected. Firstly tried to pay with a debit card the Travelex system declined the payment. My bank confirmed no attempt by Travelex was made that day. I used BPay in the end and all payments processed in a timely manner although there are extra steps required. But again not a big issue. Pickup was fine just make sure you have your docs as requested in the emails received

Lydia, the staff member who served us, at Travelex, Erina Fair, gave great advice on the cash we needed, then provided great service when we picked it up.
We were also able to pick up our cash currency on the day we wanted.

The rate was decent and the money was…
The rate was decent and the money was available as advised when ordering. Only thing would be better to have some smaller notes. Not all 50 Euro notes

All good, however I would have liked some $US 100 bills so the pile isn't so thick and I didn't get any $2 or $1 bills to use for tips in the USA

Ordering online
This is the first time I have used online and pick up at a post office. Generally I go in personally.
Everything was on time and notes were perfect.
My only problem is that I cannot request how many of each denominations. Ending up with a huge wad of notes.

Don't use airport pick-up…
Preordered foreign currency for pick-up at the airport on two separate occasions a year or so apart. On both occasions, the ordering process was quick and simple, but the pick-up process at the airport was long and convoluted. This is due to a combination of their airport booth being understaffed and their complex internal systems. I recommend picking up prior to departure from somewhere other than the airport with the added advantage of being able to use another foreign exchange service other than the monopoly service at the airport.
