Great experience, prices were decent for last minute as easy jet canceled our flight the night before. The staff was super friendly on board. Highly recommended company
Disorganzation between Transavia and Aéroport de Paris.
This is about a return flight from Marrakech to Paris :
-Tried for 2 hrs to register seat on line the evening before departure. Unsuccessful. Wrote to the helpdesk. No answer.
-Upon landing at Orly, the plane taxied to the other end of the airport. We had to take a lengthy bus to terminal 3.
-Unfortunately, taxis are available only at terminal 1. This ended by a good 20 minutes additional walk and delay upon arrival.
USELESS customer support
I had booked a flight from Dublin to Paris for 18th February (tomorrow). I'd paid the €10 extra for "flex" which should have enabled me to change my flight.
I needed to come back to Paris early and on the 7th February but this was blocked because their site claimed I had requested "special baggage allowance". I hadn't. It advised contacting via WhatsApp.
At 12h36 on Saturday the 7th February I started the process. During my wait, the flight I wanted to change to on the 12th upped from €50 to €96. I waited for a reply all Saturday evening.
The reply came at 06h43 on Sunday morning offering the €96 price, an additional €55 for me.
I'd already booked for the 12th with Ryanair as there were only 3 seats left on the Transavia flight when I was blocked from booking it on Saturday at €50 and I needed to be sure I'd get back to Paris on the 12th.
I was advised that I could apply for a refund and did so then waited for a reply.
This morning, the 17th, I was informed:
"Sorry to hear that you may need to cancel your flight. According to our conditions of carriage, I'm afraid that our ticket and services are non-refundable."
"I then tried to move the flight for the 18th... but the "special baggage" message again blocked me, so nothing was done about this since the 7th, and it's too late to move my flight, so I've lost €50 and had so much stress because of this useless customer support.
Tranasavia for the love of god get different seats!
New A321Neo is a nice modern aircraft but Transavia selected the worst seats in the industry. They are rock hard and on an almost 5 hour flight from Amsterdam to Tenerife it's impossible to get comfortable. The flight was slightly delayed as is customary with Transavia. Service was okay, you can buy snacks and drinks on board. It beats the free but always same stale Beemster Cheese sandwich KLM hands out. There is no WiFi and no inflight Entertainment. It's very basic for a not so basic price.

Their checkin did not work and you could not get in touch with them - how arrogant can a company be?

I have booked a flight to insbruck that got cancelled 3h before departure without any reason. People working at the transavia info pount were not any help, they told us to go home and that maybe we just should ask for refound, didnt offer any help regarding rebooking or paying for hotels. We booked another flight with transavia from Rotterdam. The flight got cancelled 20 mins before departure when we werea already instructed to go to a gate. Again no help, rebooking was offered. Generally a horrible experience. Not my first one, had a similar situation flying to portugal with transavia. The flight was drlayed 13 h

Cancel flights last minute and no refund for a month!!!
This airline cancelled flight on January 7th 2026 from Larnaca to Amsterdam sending a bogus excuse - "expected bad weather" to the passenger (whose email address I never provided while making a booking), not to the person who purchased the tickets - that is myself. I say tickets because it was a 4 leg flight - two flights one way and two flights return. The charge for the original 4 leg flight was made on my card not by Transavia, but by KLM. More than a month after they cancelled the flight and they still haven't sent me a refund for the cancelled. I never expected that kind of behavior from a big Dutch company. I am writing the same review for KLM because they are the ones who charged my card when I purchased a 4-leg flgiht, not Transavia.
This airline is a total scam
This airline is a total scam.
This so-called budget airline is not very price competitive, and strips everything that you’d expect from ticket price to charge you more.
Booked flight with 1 piece of luggage it but turned out to be too big. They forced paying EUR 70 extra, which was more than 30% of the ticket price.
Disgusting way to squeeze customers.
If you are someone over 170cm stay away
If you are someone over 170cm, stay far away. I am 186, and 3 hours after my flight, my knees still hurt. If the tickets would be free of charge, i would still much rather pay 200€ for another airline…..
Outstanding staff
Outstanding staff, very friendly and attentive, no issues whatsoever. The experience was seamless from start to finish.
Damaged luggage, wrong information, and no response
Transavia damaged my checked luggage and then refused to compensate me, despite my claim being submitted within the 7-day notice period stated on their website.
Their published EU consumer information clearly says that claims for damaged checked baggage must be submitted within seven days. There is no mention of additional exclusions or hidden criteria, or that this period effectively functions as a six-day deadline.
Even so, my claim was rejected based on rules that are not disclosed anywhere in their public information. This seems designed to prevent valid claims from being paid.
I pointed this inconsistency out to Transavia twice, in writing. They did not reply.
This experience was not only frustrating because of the damaged luggage, but because the claims process appears to rely on unpublished rules and customer concerns are ignored when those issues are raised.
Shame on you, Transavia.
Simple et rapide

No water available on a 5-hour flight is insane. They make you buy water and serve no food or any snacks. Crazy.
⭐ 1/5
⭐ 1/5 – Very poor customer service and unfair handling
I had a very disappointing experience with Transavia.
I arrived at Oujda airport around one hour before departure, which is within the check-in deadline stated on Transavia’s own seat confirmation (60 minutes before departure). I had only cabin luggage and followed all instructions.
Despite this, I was refused check-in without a clear explanation, missed my flight, and suffered financial loss and stress.
What made the situation worse was the response from Customer Care. Instead of addressing the facts, they sent a generic reply, ignored the contradiction between their written policy and what happened at the airport, and refused any responsibility or solution.
No proper explanation. No assistance. No accountability.
Very disappointing experience, especially when passengers comply with all stated rules and are still treated unfairly. I would strongly advise others to be cautious and arrive much earlier than what Transavia officially states — because their own rules may not be respected.
Pay extra luggage only by cash and only on euros
I am using quite often Transavia, but the last experience was pretty bad. There was an extra kg in my luggage in Antalya, which was my mistake discovered only at a counter. I accepted to pay extra 60 euros for the baggage, however, it turned out to be impossible to pay via card or with local currency, and even euros exchanged in the airport the Transavia représentative did not accept telling that I need to provide the banknotes of the new series...
So not being attentive and not double checking the luggage allowance almost cost me a flight, and a huge amount of stress, be careful.
