Fake job opportunity

Got contacted via WhatsApp about a job opportunity where I can earn great daily bonuses plus a generous monthly salary. Was advised it takes 30min -1hr daily and can work from my phone or computer. Then was told I would receive training. (Sounded too good to be true but I was willing to hear them out) I asked how the money is paid and was told because they are an international company they pay in USDT and didn’t confirm if I asked if I require a digital currency wallet. I then asked if there is any upfront costs, I was advised that there aren’t any however there could be a requirement for some advance funds to be paid. I replied that I have already budgeted for the month and wouldn’t have any money to invest upfront for at least a week as that is when I get paid. The response I got is “then you’re not suitable for the job, good luck in finding a job” - I replied that I have a job and was looking for an additional income source and good luck to them for finding the ideal candidate and blocked them as clearly trying to scam people. Definitely beware of these people. If this was a real opportunity then why am I not suitable just because I can’t put any money upfront today and would need to wait a week? Surely if they want candidates to work then they would just train me as initially said and then if money needed to be invested or whatever the case why is a week wait such a big deal? Honestly, got bad vibes right away and just got confirmed with the response I received. Terrible “recruiter” if you can even call that person that. Save your time and definitely money.

Scammer and crazy people sell his stuff…

Scammer and crazy people sell his stuff totally overpriced if some one who it's selling his item and scam you tradera don't care at all and it will not do anything for you. Its lovely tradera when you reply stupid stuff to save your ass but let me tell you only make you look like a stupid coz i didnt get any item i pay and i didn't get anything i complained to tradera opening a dispute and you dont even care i get scammed from the seller and from you.

Useless customer service

Will add "buyer protection" to all international sales, which would be fine if it was actually worth a damn. Instead of helping, they actively work against you.

Bought a watch that was described as "running fine", but received a broken watch. Contacted them with proof showing the item was broken. This proof was not accepted and I was told to provide documentation. So I took it to a brand certified watchmaker and sent them his statement. They also disregarded this and told me to show documentation that the watch is broken. Three weeks later, they have still not defined what documentation they want me to provide and have not provided any help regarding the item.

Buyer protection not good

I bought an electrical item that stopped working. There is a 30 day window to find a fault in order to use your buyer protection, but this isn't good enough for electrical goods that just stop working soon after purchase. There needs to be a different warranty protection for electrical goods. I just received an automated Tradera response to 'read how buyer protection works'. I have lost 200 euros with no support from Tradera even after buying 'protection'.

TERRIBLE COMPANY

Terrible company, I was trying to solve a problem when seller didn’t send me a package and I try to contact tradera through their chat for a 3 weeks. They didn’t solve anything, just 5 times when I start a case, they wrote me a message that my case is solved due to a long time responding (it was 2 or 3 minutes). After this they wrote me a message, where they said that I had a buyers protection bought, but it’s already been 30 days and it’s not possible to use my protection as a buyer… Tfuy, it was a gift for my friend hor her birthday and now I can’t do anything and look like a total a**hole.

Useless company that doesn't care less

Fedex is better that's saying something... had a dispute over 30 days all questions and answers was done day 1... still waiting for an answer... phones them up and all I get is attitude and no date as to when it is going to be resolved... wouldn't mind so much if it wasn't a 4000kr item they lost.

SCAMMERS/ FRAUDSTERS BE AWARE OF ANYTHING RELATED TO THEM

They put up 5star reviews on their products on the website to attract buyers. And what's worse they have recruitment advertising online for jobs to do them. Telling people they will earn a commission if they do them working from home part-time or full time positions.Whilst on training they will tell you to send your money trough Bidget, Remitely ( making it difficult to recover your money back) all third party apps to makeup absurd amounts of products. In order to complete 38 tasks (reviews). If you can't submit the 38 tasks "your money is stuck on that platform" and they will push you to borrow from family and friends or ask your employer for an advance on your salary just so you could go on with those tasks.

Nice try Tradera.... flagging peoples reviews. I have plenty of evidence supporting what am saying in this review.

Lies Lies Lies from Tradera..

Received a camera lens that did not live up to sellers description. Described as perfect but was far from that.
Buyers protection was purchased, so I started a dispute.
Instruction to return the lens to tradera was followed and then.......

Nothing happened.

After some time i got a little impatient and contacted tradera.

I was told to be patient.

From tracking info I could see that the carrier tried to deliver the parcel without luck.
More than one time.

I called tradera.

I was told to be patient...

Now I don't even remember how many times messages was sent between me and tradera.
A lot for sure.

Then I was told that the parcel indeed had been received. So now I just had to be patient.
Now it was up for scrutiny.

More than 1,5 months from the beginning of my dispute nothing happened though.

I wrote tradera.

I just had to be patient..

Today the box was returned at my address.
Stickers said it had newer been delivered.

And trust me - the address was correct.

So this is a sad evidence of a company with no morale.

Lies are ok.

Customers are irrelevant when they don't just supply income.

This makes me sick.

Do you think Tradera have taken the time to reply to any of the latest mails I've sent?

Come on tradera!
Handle the case with concrete action, and stop making these see through efforts.

Things to consider: Tradera buyer and seller experience

Tradera for buying and selling is a nice website. HOWEVER, there are a few issues that you need to take care of or you will suffer.

1- If you are a buyer, make sure to include the buyer protection, or else Tradera can not help with a refund or anything, they simply report the buyer, and nothing more will happen (unless the seller abuses many other people, but basically for you as a buyer it will not help).

2- If you are a seller:
2.1- There a commission of 20% of the purchase price (up to 200kr), meaning it is not always worth selling.
2.2- Something that is hidden, is that when you reach 100 products (including both active listings or unsold listings, even if it is the same product that has been restarted multiple times), then you will have to pay 10kr per listing and let me tell you within 12 days I lost 500kr without noticing. Keep in mind I had only around 20 listings, but due to restarting them when unsold, I lost a lot.

Finally, do I recommend using Tradera? Take care as they are draining you with fees everywhere without knowing. Many hidden things, so proceed with caution.

My favorite shopping place

Definitely, my number 1 place to buy and to sell! The things that you won’t find anywhere else! And that sense of community! I love how you constantly continue to improve, the visual search, also how easy it became to make a payment and to buy the shipping labels, and 10 pictures for the listing instead of 5! However, there’s a few more things I would wish for, like adding videos to the listings, and the category for authentic vintage clothing. I hope, you can fix those one day, guys! Thank you for everything!

Unfair treatment

It was great at first, selling stuff i dont need to earn some extra cash as a student. But out of nowhere my account gets shut down and in the email i get it says its due to bad reviews i recivied. I had 7 good reviews with people very happy but i got 2 bad once, one was because the shipping was dealyed due to easter (out of my control) and the second was about an acution which included an item that i had sold somewhere else but i couldnt end the acution since someone bid but at the end i contacted the winner and explained it but still got a bad review. This dosent justify removing an income someone depend on. Very unfair and i wanted to make it right to maybe get a second chance and so i reached out to the support and they couldnt care any less and basically said ”yeah cant help you bye” no interest in hearing anything or help at all. I wish i had spent my time selling somewhere else now.

Tradera is littered with fake items.

Tradera is littered with fake items. There are dozens of fake art prints by artists such as Banksy, Roy Lichtenstein and Andy Warhol. A signed Banksy for 1800sek! This would be worth ar least 200.000sek. I have a real one and the POW stamp is obviously not genuine.

I have reported these prints multiple times but nothing gets done. Judging by all the other reviews, Tradera are totally aware of all these fake items and just choose to ignore them.

The sellers' usernames are Esika, Artsåklart so avoid these people. They're probably how the gangs in Sweden fund their organisations.

No support and security as a buyer

I have reported the inadequate and unprofessional service level once earlier and I'm sad to see that I'm facing similar issues once again. Now for the last time as I am no longer willing to use the interface that beyond promises is not providing security, accountability and support for members.

also please dont send the copypasted response 'sorry you had a bad experience blah blah blah' i already used enough time talking to support and you guys made it very clear that there is nothing you can and are planning to do to support the buyer even if i paid the buyer protection. its a wild west and buyers are totally at the mercy of the sellers being honest and fair.

Auction sniping allowed for years.

You can snipe auctions in the last second as they're not adding time after placing bids - Yeah that's not a great system..

What a waste of time.

This is what i got from chatting to Tradera -
"Hello! I know that this is a problem, we have sent over a sugestion if you bid in the last 15 seconds the timer goes up to 20 seconds. But this is something that have followed along over the years and never been looked at"
