Very misleading user interface - you immediately buy something and then they are not able to reverse the sale. I am deeply disappointed and won’t recommend to anyone.

An other scam company that allowed sellers to sell fake products or modified.
Even with proofs they won’t do anything.
Very disappointed
Had issues working on the apps and site.. got scammed.. they couldn’t do anything about it..
I thought it wouldn’t be possible but YES ledgerlift claimed back stolen coins
I have been a user and supporter of Tradera since 2009, but of my last three experiences as a buyer these past 4 months, I have been blatantly lied to, ripped off and abused, all by sellers who are using this platform to steal from others. Perhaps this is simply a reflection of Swedish society today. Well, no longer. My subscription and account of 16yrs is now deleted. Never again.
Tradera protects scammer sellers on their site instead of their buyers. If you do not pay their extra fee, despite what it says in their Terms of Service about "taking non-delivered services seriously", a customer service rep admitted today that they will not honor that unless you purchase Buyer Protection. They do not care about you as a customer, they just care about money. They boast that typical Swedish Passive Aggressiveness online but would cower before you on the avenue.
Crappy, practically offers no buyer protection. It's an ebay-owned company, so no surprises there. Be careful buying on here.
Personally I bought a valuable item which was not as described at all. When I got it I naturally opened a case, wanting to get a refund, and return it if needed. After a week with no notice from either the seller or the company, I checked the status, only to find out the case was closed with no comment in favor of the seller. That's 40 euros I'll never get back, and I got essentially trash for that price.
I have been buying on Tradera for many years now. Apart from the fact that shipping prices from Sweden have risen out of all proportion, there are also the so-called buyer's protections, which are nothing more than additional taxes to drive up prices. Plus the currency exchange. If 7/8 years ago a postcard paid 5 euros plus another 2 reasonable euros for shipping, now the price is more than doubled. It really doesn't pay to buy and deal with this site any more.
I tried to contact Tradera regarding an invoice. It concerns a small invoice of around €4. I don’t have a credit card and don’t want one either. Although purchased items can be paid for using PayPal or the Dutch payment platform iDeal, it's not possible to pay an invoice in this way. I therefore have to pay it via a bank transfer, but my bank charges a €12 fee per transaction. I find this unacceptable and would like to know if there is an alternative solution, and whether Tradera has any plans to make things easier for sellers in this regard in the future.
The chat support is unhelpful – all they can do is forward the issue to someone who *might* consider it…
You’d think it would be possible to send an email to support to find another solution. While there is a support email address, it's only for items listed and sold on Tradera.
I find it quite arrogant to make it so difficult to get in touch about matters like this.

I do not have a BankID, but was able to register with no problems at all. After searching for a long time, I was able to bid on several items and ended up winning. However, when tried to pay, they request a BankID, which I don't have. They don't provide any other way of verification and won't allow you to purchase anything without that. Really disappointing experience and useless customer service.
Crazy good platform and trusted for selling and buying. Best in Sweden!
I had a terrible experience using this platform. I purchased an item, and the seller took my money but never responded again. I reached out to customer support, but they were no help at all, and I was left with no refund. It felt like there’s no real protection for buyers, and scammers can easily get away with it. I wouldn’t recommend this site to anyone unless they improve their security and buyer protection policies.
Additionally, my company had been using the platform for a while without issues until one day, our automatic transfer stopped working. When we contacted them, we were told our funds were frozen because we allegedly violated their rules, which we believe was completely unfair. Instead of working with us, they just seized our funds. We decided to end our relationship with them, and I regret ever using their service. It’s a disappointing company to deal with.
I was able to recover my funds with the help of the company in my profile picture, who guided me through the process and ensured I got my money back after all the trouble.
I had a very bad experience on this site. I got scammed by a seller who took my money and never responded again. I tried calling and messaging them, but they completely ignored me. I reached out to customer support, but they couldn’t help or refund my money. There seems to be no real buyer protection here, and it feels like scammers can easily get away with it. I don’t feel safe using this platform and I wouldn’t recommend it to others until they fix this.
Our company, AB Midgardshop, had been using the platform for a while, and everything was working fine. However, one day, our automatic money transfer to our account stopped functioning. We couldn't even transfer the funds manually.
When we contacted Tradera, they explained that our funds were frozen because we had allegedly violated some of their rules. We believe that such a drastic decision, like seizing funds, is completely unfair. There were other ways to handle the situation, but taking someone else's money is unacceptable.
As a result, we decided to terminate our cooperation. A truly disappointing company.
I purchase a fishing rod from a dude that has several large jb-sportfiske-online among others...the rod I got had been stamped on BEFORE shipping could see it right away because the rod poked 10-12 cm out of the box. I should have left it then and there, but first we thought it was some sort of protection but it proved to be tape and elastiks to hold the rod together. Despite I had pictures Tradera sent me to the shipping firm that sent me to paypal whom all said the sender of the packet should replace it but he didn´t even answered my letters much less replaced the broken rod. There was no doubt the rod was broken before it was sent because it was the lower stiffer part that was broken almost like a shotgun from Daffy the Duck all the way down below the first eye and there was no similar marks on the box it was sent in. Traderas byer´s protection isn´t worth the paper it is written on!
The buyerprotection used to be optional, but seems to be mandatory now for all purchases. i will avoid Tradera for any futher purchases.
Someone who bought from me did not understand the website, accused me of scamming, gave me a bad review, and I, despite having to pay the high fees for selling each time, have to run after Tradera to get my reviews clean again and the rating not negatively impacted (still showing only 4 of 5 stars as if i had done something wrong). Can not use it anymore for selling with the person having ruined my rating as people will of course bid less. Now I got an E-Mail I shall solve it with the person that didnt understand the platform, accused me of scamming and gave me a bad review. What are the fees for if I get these problems despite having done nothing wrong?
Giving 1 due to the new obligatory shield.
I usually bought stuff with extra shield if buying electronics which might not work
but being forced to buy shield for plastic Lego blocks? Wtf
Just extra way to increase their profits.
Incredibly frustrating platform when you live outside the Nordic countries. Impossible to get in touch with customer support as well since their live chat blocks access for no reason at all. Also doesn't delete accounts, just deactivates.
It is impossible to contact them. No one reads the messages. I received a product that does not match the description. After a week of silence, Tradera offered me the ridiculous solution: To return the product and get half of its value refunded. Unbelievable...
I have been using Tradera for a while, both for buying and selling, but it is an increasingly frustrating experience.
They enjoy having no real competition in Sweden too much, which makes the decision makers increasingly greedy and complacent. While their pockets burst with cash, the site is littered with issues and customers are made more and more disappointed by the changes.
Both clients have annoying ads, even though Tradera is getting disgustingly rich by forcing both sellers and buyers to pay them a cut, unlike other sites...
Tradera takes a 10% cut from all sales (in a 3-200kr limited range) and they charge that cut, which is already too high in my opinion, immediately after a listing is sold, before the customer has even paid, who knows, maybe they will not even pay in the end...
Before buyers could choose to add buyer's protection at an added cost of 3kr+5% of the purchase price, but that protection is no real security either for the seller or the buyer, should a problem arise, you can still get screwed.
Tradera has recently made the greedy decision to force the protection fee onto almost every purchase, even if it would make no sense whatsoever, like at personal pickup. They have put a LOT of extra cost onto hobbyists who frenquently buy many small items. Even if you purchase from a seller you definitely trust, you are still forced against your will to pay the Tradera mafia their extra protection fee.
And that fee is not even refunded to you, if a seller or buyer screws with you and no exchange of goods ever happens.
I bought an item and had to pay extra for protection.
The seller never sent the item.
I asked for a full refund of what I paid.
The seller refunded the item's and shipping's price, but Tradera still pocketed the protection fee even though the item never even left the seller's home. So I paid the tradera mafia cut for absolutely NOTHING!
And guess what? When I tried to start a dispute and clicked on the appropriate tab for info about what to do, it led me to a friggin Tradera advertisement for their paid subscription! Rub some more salt into the wound, wouldn't you, Tradera?
Meanwhile on Vinted for example, sellers do not even have to pay any cut to Vinted. It is only the buyer's protection fee that does get charged from everyone, but the shipping discounts and no selling fee makes up for it easily and it is much easier to negotiate with sellers there and the site/app has less ads than Tradera, which extorsts both sides. Vinted has a lot of issues with thir site as well, but if they are profitable, how can Tradera justify their greed?
Tradera has annoying bugs and features in their service that keep popping up.
The worst being their damn login server/service that takes like 10 seconds to even start loading when I try to log in, both on PC and android.
And the cursed thing logs me out like 20 times every day!!! Even though the option to "Keep me logged in" is checked when logging in, the damn page logs me out constantly! Both on PC and android in different Chromium browsers. I have lost bidding on auctions because the damn page showed me as logged in, but when I tried to put my bid to win, I was immediately logged out!!!! Infuriating and unacceptable!!!
Makes me wonder if their service is intentionally made to harrass people unless if they download and use the Tradera app, which has annoying ads and a MUCH MUCH worse, less user friendly and less efficient layout and way of functioning while browsing listings.
The browser and app clients' interfaces are not even synchronized properly in their UI and use and both have annoying badly made UI elements that make the use of the page worse.
In the browser client you can filter the Status by: Active / Sold / Not Sold. Which is the logical and useful set of parameters.
In the app it is Active / Ended / Unsold. Which is illogical junk compared to the browser version, as the Ended is a mix of unsold and sold items...
When posting an auction and trying to set an end time, the date and hour both pop up the same date+hour double pick window and close it after a click, forcing annoying extra clicks... But no one thought to fix that...
There are countless listings with fraudulently false information in the description about the item, listing them as more valuable brands when they are clearly something else, but if you report them, nothing happens.
There are countless listings with horrible quality photos and descriptions, but there is no quality control, Tradera does not care.
Tradera has introduced a new option to speed up listing items with AI and they try to push sellers to let their AI fill out the listings' title and description automatically. But very often the AI fills it with false information, which makes the listings fraudulent and can result in a lot of trouble both for the sellers and buyers as a consequence.
