Worse than met police Wentworth Street moped and motor bikes getting their ecu stolen and sold to Local bike garages and ecu programers in the area. They go to the motor cycle bays and even there is cctv they don't check it. BR bikes purchase and cause all the blocked parking spaces.

Called 4 weeks ago for a sink to be repaired, no one showed up

Was told this is the earliest they can do, waited from 8am till 5pm, again no one showed.

Call several times to find out an update and was told that someone will be coming out today by a lady who picked up called Khadija, again no one came and no one called to give us an update.

No Accountability at all. Their workmen ar enot trained - it takes them xxx times teo do one job - each time making another fault - unable to detect any issues because they just are not qualified tradesmen. Whoever is in charge of workmen recruiting needs to be audited because this sounds like fraudulent. 10 times for one job - 15-20 times callign over and over - paying staff to duplicate work that should have been done first time.

They broke my dustbin, I emailed via their webpage and called them: they can't change them, it is not their problem. When I emailed, they said to call instead - clearly just brushing off, when I called, report the problem on the website.. Endless circles and you are paying £100+ for them for nothing!

After enduring a tedious hour on hold with the ineffective council tax line, I was directed to their website, which proved unhelpful for my required tasks. The process of creating an account was pointless as it immediately locked me out. The council's inefficiency is appalling. However, if you're Bangladeshi, you might find it wonderful. Overall, I eagerly anticipate moving away from this unremarkable area.

Major traffic calming on what must be the quietest road in the borough - leading to bus stop removal ("not us it's TfL" but TfL say it is the council) and most seriously the removal of the 'bobbly' paving stones at road junctions which means the visually impaired will have no idea they are about to cross a road. But that is fine because the cyclists now have an obstacle clear way to ride on the pavement.
Adding to the obstruction is their failure to collect recycling. The bins have to be left on the pavement in case they turn up, if they aren't then they won't collect. This blocks the pavements - a hazard to those with impairment and encourages people to fly tip. This adds additional rubbish on the pavement, causing further obstruction and risk, which the council says it will not collect as it is not in bins! It isn't in bins because the bins are full having not been collected and so there is overflow in addition to the dumping.
When you telephone you get cut off several times before getting through to someone who can only tell you it is nothing to do with them.
What is the point of this mayor and the council as a whole if they are not prepared to do their job?

We are paying service charge for what exactly?

The block we are living at hasn't been cleaned or maintained for months, maybe a year now. I've lost count! I've sent numerous emails and complaints to the council and so has my neighbours only to be ignored over and over again.

It is a complete waste of money! A scam!!! We are paying for something and not getting anything in return.

The borough is filthy all the time!

What is the mayor doing to resolve this?

Very disappointed. I was given A leaflet for homeless services, when I turned up at the given address in the leaflet to help the homeless. There were no night shelters. Across London they rate 2/1000 in terms of providing night drop in shelter for the homeless. Very bad bad bad bad!

600 flats in 14 the URS Bin are collected every three weeks. The area smells bad. We contacted T H Council several times with no response.

Oh it's just hopeless isn't it 😭 try to claim council tax refund online, not possible, round and round in circles. Okay so if you can't do it online you can call them 🤣🤣🤣, so you finally get through to someone who tells you that you have to do it online. Pointless, absolutely useless 🙄😭

Crappy and horrible council nasty filithy area and no regard for disabled drivers this is the worst council i have ever encountered

Steve comes regularly and does a great job every time. Very reliable, polite, and thorough with the cleaning. I really appreciate how consistent and neat his work is.

They are quick to chase rent but don't want to do any repairs, they just fob you off in the hopes that you will just dissapear and not gwt any repairs done, we have had to heating in over a year now and leaks coming from above and from the radiators and they don't want to do anything about it.

Their website may look impressive and clean on first inspection, but when drilling down to detail you find much content that says nothing, or leads you round in loops. Come on LBTH, get skilled people with a consumer POV to review every page and highlight verbiage, blather and repetition, and draft concise, helpful content. Please.

Trustpilot shouldn't give them single star. Me and my family victimised of circumstances that's why we asked help from the council after living this borough almost 24 years but the way they treated us we are shocked and surprised. They don't think we are human being only housing officer Abul kalam,sabiah sheikh (front desk booking team) speaks politely. But Dhulal miah from PRS bookings team is disgusting. He Called my wife when she was working My wife told him Please brother speak to my husband he was persistent he offered us a flat the flat is far, damaged, mould, moss. He forcefully took our acceptance, We have several health issues (optimum blood pressure diabetics, mental health issues asthmatic problems, back pain depressions some issues i am unable to mention here (oh he just sent email to my wife when I am writing a reviews in trustpilot),yesterday we ask for review of the decisions, they sent the form. But this dhulal miah giving us pain. Now we decided to go to courts My legal representative working on it, Cause i will fight for justice

Tower Hamlet's Recruitment Team, are absolutely awful, they upload jobs on there site, when you complete an application they don't allow you to submit it, if you try to speak with Recruitment staff they neither pick up the call or respond.
I think the jobs uploaded are not really available and it's just a s..t show. They have limited funds to employ staff, if any.
