Like many other reviewers, I have nothing good to say about this company. The initial call was taken by what appears to be a CSR from a dispatch centre. I explained exactly what I needed & was told that a tech would call me. I did get a call, hard to understand what was being said. No questions were asked, just felt rushed into setting up an appointment. I needed my 2 doors key chambers to be rebuilt or re-designed, no new bolt or new drum or new lock, just a redesign of the key chamber. Very easy job ans not overly expensive as I had that done already a few years ago. The tech literally offered me every other option, except for the one I asked for and at extremely high prices. I could afford 4 brand new locks ( drum & handle) at any hardware store for the price of 2 drums he wanted to install in both my doors. I felt mislead, as if they think people can be taken advantage of. I did my homework with regards to what I needed & how much it could potentially cost me. I paid for the service call fee ($30 cash) and told him to leave my house.
Stay away from them. I won't ever contact them for any future locksmith work.

The technician was clearly not a locksmith and even said I should have called a locksmith. He proceeded to drill my lock without my consent and because he had destroyed my lock, he had to change it, charging two separate fees. I could have done the job myself. I suspect the technician also engages in tax evasion, as he charged me "HST" but provided no HST number, and no invoice until I requested one so I don't know how he keeps track of how much "HST" he charges. I filed a lead with the CRA so he can get properly audited.

Very disappointed with their service. Technician was supposed to call me in 15 minutes had to call back an hour later saying I have not heard from Robbie the technician. Robbie did call back then said he would be there in 20-25 minutes showed up an hour and 20 minutes later. Offered me two lock assemblies one was 595 dollars other one was 395. I told him forget it and why didn’t the dispatcher advise me that it would cost so much as I was only replacing the lock assembly and not the entire door handles. Robbie advised he could give me a 20 percent senior discount and I told him even with the discount it was way to expensive as the part the provided is on 45 dollars online. I felt pressured and he kept lowering his price. Finally I agreed to have it repaired for 250 dollars cash which I felt was still way too much money. He then said he only had a brass lock assembly, I told him forget it as mine is a silver satin finish, the then went in his bag and said I was lucky as he found one. After he completed the job that exactly 7 minutes he told me I have to give him another 29 dollars to pay the dispatcher. He then told me that the door handle needed to be adjusted and it would cost another 30 dollars, I said no and he said he could drop the price to 20 dollars. I said I am retired with a fixed income. He replied I don’t feel right leaving it that way and was going to make the adjustment for free. Not even a minute later when he closed the door he said no it is fine and left. I had to get my vacuum out to clean the wood shavings left behind. I really feel like I was being taken advantage of.

Don’t think they are real locksmiths, showed up 1 hour later then we agreed and drilled out the lock rather then try something else, I could have and to my fault should have just paid the $29 dollar assessment fee and drilled it myself…..took him 10 minutes and charged us $477, did not clean up after himself and left stuff all over our brand new laid down floors. I will not use them again, I am a General Contractor and a foolish one at that for going along with it but I had 3 guys standing around which was also costing me money. Yup I’m a dummy, wont get fooled again. If I could rate them a .1 rating or less I would……was very aggressive about getting paid. Oh and also wanted to sell me a new lock….I just walked away and purchased my own….Im pretty sure if he had his way he would have tried to charge us $1000 dollars for 20 minutes work. I tried to get price from them before arrival but of course would not commit….again, I am a fool and I own this but does not make it right, it wont happen again…..I really should not have paid the entire bill but sometimes you just gotta move on in my business…..I really don’t think they are certified or accredited locksmiths if such a thing exists….they are are harming their peers in the industry who actually do legit work.

Total rip off! BEWARE

Locksmith came to my commercial business said it cost $589 to do the job. I gave the OK. Upon completion, charged $1200 in total, saying $589 to remove the existing lock and the balance was to replace the lock!!!! Absolutely criminal. No transparency in their service. Disgusting 🤬

Lock and Smith Fraud story in Toronto.
The man who came to fixed our lock. he gave us two sets of keys and signed the papers. Took the third set key and told us he will give to the management. Later we asked management , management informed us he did not give any key to them. So he is a big thief, took our room key.
That is serious big and fraud issue for lock and smith company.

They were called to come to open a digital lock sentry basic safe whose batteries had died and the key was missing. They showed up after 4:30 for an appointment that was scheduled between 1 and 3 after we called to ask why no one had shown up as scheduled. I thought they would pick the lock or have some form of master for the key or use one of the methods shown on the internet for picking the lock. The locksmith brute force opened the safe by cutting it with a metal saw. It cost close to 600 dollars for poor service and a technique that involved zero lock smithing. Incidentally, if this technician had any idea about these safes as he claimed, he would have known that the left hinge on these safes is very flimsy. It took him 20 minutes of precarious cutting. When I analysed the issue with the knowledge of the hinge I aquired, it took 5 seconds to break the hinge with an 8 lb sledge hammer. I would give them zero stars if that were possible. 600 dollars for twenty minutes work? This is a gouge! I now have to replace the safe so that is an additional cost! The reputable step would be to discount us to at least be able to replace the safe. I suspect no such satisfaction will be offered by this company. Never again.
