Visited Topshop Exeter today and hardly…

Visited Topshop Exeter today and hardly any of the staff were wearing masks. One of the staff members was also very rude to us. I will NEVER go in there again. I used to spend quite a bit of money in there but never seem to find anything anymore it’s gone massively downhill.

Received worn out dirty boots

Horrible experience!! I received boots that were worn out, had worn out leather around ankles, had dirt and mud on the soles and came in a dirty, old box. My own boots like that after 1 year of wearing. I immediately took photos and reported to Topshop. I received an answer after 3 days saying that they are willing to look into this. That I should send the boots back at my own cost and their specialist will examine the boots to find a possible MANUFACTURING FAULT and should they be able to identify a manufacturing fault, they will be more than happy to refund the boots. I told them I'm not reporting manufacturing fault because the problem with the boots is that they were obviously worn and dirty, they were not examined by Topshop when they received a return from previous buyer and were resold. I asked what happens if their specialist doesn't find a manufacturing fault? Will I get a refund at all? Are they going to keep the boots and resell them again? SHAME ON YOU Topshop. They are not answering my questions at all right now. For the past 7 days. Selling old dirty shoes, shame on you Topshop.

Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service! I understand we are in bad times at the moment but my issue has not been resolved!! I made an order for 3 jackets in which it arrived and there was only 2 in the bag, I contacted customer service who said they will look into it but I have not heated anything since!! I sent back the jackets as I didn’t like them and included a letter to contact me and to explain I didn’t receive the third and they have only refunded me for the 2 jackets. This is extremely unfair as why should I pay for something I haven’t received!! Tried all ways to contact but the only way is to email which is taking a ridiculous amount of time to get a reply!

This has to be because of them going…

This has to be because of them going into administration but Topshop are scamming people with online orders. You buy and pay then they dont deliver, probably because once they havent found a buyer for the brand and business, they will start to liquidate the business, hey ho you just become a creditior in that process, which could take years to get your money back through the liquidators. Just keep your money and spend it somewhere else now! I just Lost 59 quid. bloody fuming.

HORRIBLE. NEVER BUY

Ordered jeans over a month ago and when i tried to track them it says they cannot deliver them but does not say why or how i can get them. so i emailed top shop and they said they would get back to me in 24-48 hours it has now been a week and a half with no response. I just want my money back but that seems to be hopeless. never ever buying from them again

Topshop have taken my money and have not repsonded to me!

I bought an order worth £113 from Topshop and wanted to return the entire order. I booked a Hermes collection and they told me it would arrive on the 17th November, No one came to collect at all. So I tried to call them - no phone number in use and proceeded to email them (that was difficult enough in itself as there is no clear contact page which provides their email). After a few weeks of emailing they finally got back to me and told me to send it back via Royal mail. I have, and it's been a whole month and I have not received any refund or even a confirmaiton email to say they have the return. I tracked my return on Royal Mail and this says it has been delivered back to them. I have emailed 4 separate times enquiring about my refund and haven't had any response! THEY HAVE STOLEN MY MONEY!!!!

Awful. Truly awful!

Awful. It’s a good thing these guys are closing down, their service is appalling. Orders placed on line take up to two weeks to even be dispatched, even though they take your money the same day. Then you have to wait for good old Hermes to take their sweet time, pretty much another week to deliver. Now, if you need to return anything, good luck! Mine went weeks ago, I’ve tracked it so it’s received and delivered, yet no acknowledgement or refund. It’s been weeks now. They don’t reply to any emails or messages, just some automated rubbish. Utterly awful, where’s my refund?! If return to store but these items were online return only, and to be fair I find the store staff so stuck up and rude id rather not.

I am delighted

I am delighted with my items for Christmas gifts & a treat to myself. My orders arrived quickly & I also found the returns process easy & hassle free. As this is the busy time of the year refunds to take slightly longer no matter where you shop. Thank you topshop

Unfair

The fact that i could only use 50% off what i want to buy on a £30 gift card is ridiculous, especially when someone else has had to purchase, its just way to make extra money

Shocking customer service

I’m glad they’re going out of business, awful customer service. Bought a pair of boots in london in january, less than a year ago. I threw the receipt away after the refund period as I had no intention of returning them. Sadly the sole was faulty and half of it came off, I contacted customer service and went to the oxford circus store today to get an exchange or something and just got told they can’t do anything about it. They genuinely couldn’t care less, just said no and that was it. Almost £100 to go in the bin

Product not delivered, money taken

Ordered a jumper and earrings for a gamble. Both turned up very late and on opening it turns out they sent me a completely different pair of earrings that I ordered. I have proof of my original order. Trying to get a refund but after reading more reviews it seems they are not able to deliver on orders but keeping peoples money. A pretty low move from a massive brand that was once the peak of the high street and is now scamming it's small time customers with one last dirty move. Don't do it Topshop, you're better than this.

Ordered on 27th November

Ordered on 27th November. It has not arrived. Paid also for a year's express delivery. Topshop are not responding to my emails and there is no other way to contact them. Shocking service. No wonder they are in the situation they find themselves in! I don't know what to do now!

Update - I finally got a response on the 11th December, an email saying that they have processed me a refund as they presume my order was lost! They never asked whether I would actually rather have had the item I ordered (which I would have). Which is in itself annoying because it is still in stock but is now 10 pounds more expensive than when I ordered it.

I used to have the greatest experience…

I used to have the greatest experience with topshop—literally just earlier this year. I assumed with it being close to the holidays there would be a little delay but my package just straight up said
‘unable to deliver’ and offered no other piece of information, like was it lost or did you need a signature? It’s so bizarre that they ship to the US but then you continue to track it with a UK delivery service. I feel like that’s asking for mess ups. Emailed them because I still wanted my item and they said it was escalated with the delivery service and they’d get back to me in 24-48 hours. I might be a little impatient but as soon as the 48 were up I just went and asked for a refund. The communication is the worst. If someone could let me know why my package was unable to be delivered and gave me options on re delivery I wouldn’t be so upset. But to charge me and then simply say ‘oh we can’t deliver your package. oh well’ is actually insane.

If anyone from Topshop would like to…

LASTEST UPDATE:- I received a response thanking me for my patience’s asking me to re outline my complaint!?!! ARE YOU TAKING THE PI&S?!?!?!!!!!

UPDATE - Still no response from Topshop or their administration team. Absolutely disgusted. Do not buy from this shower of an outfit!!

UPDATE- Topshop emailed to say that I need to speak to their administrators at Deloitte re obtaining my refund - however Deloitte tell me this is incorrect and that they have no power to issue refunds so customer services are giving me the WRONG INFO. Someone from TOPSHOP RESPOND PLEASE. What is going on here fgs!?! Livid.

If anyone from Topshop would like to respond here please feel free. Hermes return parcel sent over two weeks ago and is still showing “in transit” - cannot speak to anyone at Hermes about this as they say speak to Topshop. Email Topshop as they have no phone line currently - no response!?! Where is the logic. Where is my refund and where the bloody hell are the staff - if you’re still trading then bloody well respond to people don’t just pretend the package is lost and keep the moneys up to the point where you cease trading!?! Disgusting. Will be contacting payment sources to recoup money. Used to think you were a great store. Not any more.

Money taken! No delivery!!

Ordered 2 items on the 29th of November. My money has come out, the order has not even been dispatched yet it’s still being ‘packed by the warehouse’ I’ve emailed twice and tweeted with no response!! SHOCKING customer service, where is my money or my items????

No refunds in store …

Went to take back 4 items my daughter ordered online, was told in my local store all online orders have to be sent back., No refunds instore absolutely disgusting.. Yet before the last lockdown no problem getting a refund in store..
Reading reviews i personally think people are already struggling to get refunds so hold no hope of my daughter receiving one..

I expect orders to be a little late in…

I expect orders to be a little late in December but the customer service helpline is shocking. Order is 4 weeks late and still cannot get through to a human being. Website help information is completely useless as well. Still awaiting an order to track after 4 weeks. Last time I will ever order any item on line with this company again.

Topshop is great!!

I went to the big Topshop store in the Bullring - Bham last week and was taken back by how helpful the staff team were and their positivity and pride of the store. What a lovely experience. A big thank you to Olivia, James and Habe. Very professional and helpful and they have every reason to be proud of that store.
