I recently experienced an email delivery issue with my domain and reached out to TMDHosting support. Petar M. from their technical team provided absolutely outstanding assistance that exceeded my expectations.

What impressed me most was Petar's proactive approach - he didn't just wait for me to provide all the details. Upon reviewing my initial concern about incoming emails, he immediately investigated the mail routing configuration and discovered that my MX records were incorrectly set. Without hesitation, he corrected the issue and clearly explained what was done, including providing a screenshot of the changes.

When I clarified that my issue was actually with outgoing emails (delivery TO my address, not FROM it), Petar promptly pivoted his troubleshooting approach. He thoroughly checked the DNS records, conducted real-world testing by sending test emails, and provided evidence of successful delivery with screenshots. His methodical approach and attention to detail were truly professional.

The communication was clear, courteous, and timely throughout. Petar explained technical concepts in an understandable way (like MX record propagation times) and always remained patient and helpful. His follow-up questions were relevant and showed he was genuinely invested in resolving my issue completely.

Complete SCAM. Misleading hosting plans. What they call Dedicated server is not a DEDICATED and is actually a VPS. As there is no direct way to distinguish one from another from the backend I was overpaying for VPS for years. Whoever thinks they are on dedicated plan there is a few Linux command that can tell virtual env. from actual dedicated

Encountered an issue with my website and was not able to access it. Initially, I was assisted by Xerxes (AI Assistant) which provided me with troubleshooting steps and then was assisted by specialist Kadek Merta who after several further troubleshooting steps discovered the root of the issue and quickly resolved it.

I was with TMDHosting for over 15 years. Before the early 2025 secret buyout by Hosting.com / World Host Group, they were honestly fantastic – reliable servers, fast support within minutes, I couldn't have been more pleased. I happily recommended them to everyone.

Then everything changed overnight.
I enabled 2FA in October 2021 because TMD told me in writing that I would always have backup codes to get in if anything went wrong. Fast-forward to 2025: my authenticator stopped working, the backup codes are gone from the login screen, and TMD reluctantly admitted (after much back and forth) they removed that option with zero notice to customers.

Now they are holding my fully paid (until Jan 2026) business account hostage and demanding either a selfie of me holding my driver’s license (sent by unsecured email), or handing all my ID over to a third-party company called Persona.com that has a long trail of well-known privacy complaints.

I sent them my LLC formation docs, operating agreement, EIN letter – everything that proves I’m the sole owner. They don’t care, they want your data.

I have open complaints with the Florida Attorney General, Florida Dept of Agriculture, BBB, ICANN, and now the FTC. Every single one of them has the same evidence showing TMD broke their own written promise and is now trying to force me to hand over sensitive ID data just to get my own websites back.

This isn’t “security policy.” This is a bait-and-switch that looks a lot more like a data-harvesting scheme than customer protection. What used to be a great company has turned into something that is straight-up criminal.

If you’re thinking about signing up, run the other way.

And as someone who’s been a paying customer for nearly two decades, I can tell you from firsthand experience, the flood of glowing high 4- and 5-star reviews you see here didn’t happen by accident. TMD offers free months of hosting in exchange for a positive Trustpilot review. So a huge chunk of these “happy customer” posts were literally bought with credits. Take them with an entire shaker of salt.

I have been using TMD for some years now, for multiple projects. I am no web designer, but I tinker. I am also not very technical minded, but these guys... THESE GUYS have been and are amazing in their customer service. I know I can be an idiot and a pain in the backside with my support queries, but everytime, these guys help me through my issues. Very fast responding and solved My problem
