Avoid this hotel at all costs! had planned a trip to Copenhagen but
I had planned a trip to Copenhagen but, due to unforeseen circumstances, I can no longer travel on the intended dates. I paid £281 for a two-night stay, but the hotel is refusing to reschedule or offer a refund—even though I reached out in advance.
Their rigid policies make it clear that profit matters more to them than customer care. I highly recommend booking elsewhere to avoid this kind of inflexible and disappointing experience.

Cancellation policy due to weather
We couldn't travel to Copenhagen as flight cancelled. Offered no help and charged full fee. Wanted to charge a further no show fee. Very poor customer service. Could have offered a reduced fee to cancel or a deal to rebook. Will never use again
Good choice for families on the weekend.
Nice and well appointed rooms, efficient and friendly reception, good food with several dining options and varied breakfast choices, reasonably close to attractions.
Minor issues, no room cleaning unless requested, some rooms suffer a bit from noise from nearby busy railway lines.
Poor standard for a 4,5 star hotel
We are staying right now in this hotel for 5 nights . We booked 2 rooms. The rooms are oké , the beds as well. But we are not satisfied . The cleaning is very poor. The carpet in the room and hallway is not vacuumed. Every where stains. No water and soap is used for the floor and bathroom. The blanket on the bed and pillows have stains. The hotel is not praktisch build. There is a swimming pool but no bathrobe so you have to walk in your towel and bathing suit through the congres center towards the swimming pool. If you have a swimming pool we think it is a normaal procedure to provide a bathrobe. If we want one than we have to pay. Every day ! With 2 rooms and 5 nights staying we deserve not to pay I think. So we will not come back here.
I was expecting more from a 4 star hotel
The service was way tooo bad, i was staying with my wife and son and our room needed proper service but instead the front desk or reception asking me if the room really needs cleaning. Like what the hell, i dont know what the room service means for them, when we checked in, the toilet been used before, they are way short staff for cleaning because it was taking the whole day to clean one room. And very little stuff were not available like disposable slippers, bath robe which should have been given.

I wasn’t expecting the Ritz, it isn’t, but pool was great, breakfast nice, Stick and Sushi was brill, staff were good, and transport is excellent, we had one standard family room and 2 kids with us and it worked.
Wonderful stay
I find it hard to believe all of these awful reviews here. Our experience was quite the opposite. Our stay was from July 26 thru the 31st. We were treated like royalty on our 48 th wedding anniversary. The breakfast was outstanding, as were the dinners we had there. The staff couldn’t have been more polite, kind and helpful. There were seven of us, four adults and three children(in their teens).We had two large family rooms across the hall from one another. Everything was fabulous for our first trip to Denmark. We hope to go back again and there is no doubt in my mind about where we will stay, The Tivoli Hotel in Copenhagen. Thank you again for a memorable vacation.

Currently staying here but i regret it
Currently staying here but i regret it! Holes in the curtain, floor damaged! Check in they didn’t tell us where to go: we had to take the elevator on the other site of the hotel, not the one near the reception. We have an executive room so we have snacks and tapas on the 11th floor until 20:00 but today the man told us it was untill 19:00 so he took everything away and put the lock on the wine and beertap but 10 minutes later he came back and put everything back! Also very quick with taking plates and not totaly empty bowl with chips. And you doesnt feel very welcome. Room: when you want to go to toilet half the room is lightend not only the bathroom but also the hallway and it is no candelight! : so your partner is also awake!

Worst experience i Denmark. The feeling of being ripped of and lied to is the only memory.
I documented with photos and are currently writing a complaint over the entire experience.
In short terms:
The room was beyond dirty. Greasy stains on the walls, pillars, windows and bed+pillow.
Shelfs in the bathroom are falling apart and the bin was bumped so it looked like it had been crushed.
The breakfast:
was so busy that the staff couldnt serve food, drinks or take orders. So service yourself = no forks, then no knives, then no sugar for the coffee anywhere, no glasses for juice. The omelet was cooked but nobody delivered it. At the omelet station I was told "Bacon ready in two minutes" = I stood there and waited for 10 minutes, still no bacon, - so go back to a cold coffe and tried to make another, but still no sugar.
The Lounge
We should be seated in the Exec Lounge wich is included with the room - only to be seated in the regular area and a table with a direct view to the toiletdoors, so when the doors opens, the view was, not the sink, not another door, no, the toilet was the view and whoever had used it.
The staff was rude and unproffesional. They can h elp you with table reservations, apparently just not in house. You need to download an app and do it yourself regardless of your request for help.
Our room included a Cava, and due tot he fact we had a dinner reservation out in town , we had to leave quick without seeing the room at check-in. I asked for the cava to be brought to the room. It was not possible for them to bring it to our room because the bottle would get luke warm then. So it had to stay at the reception. That way I could pick it up myself and then bring it to my room and put it in the fridge myself.
The room and all included was a scam. At least thats the feeling we are left with.
Exec room with loft = not worth it even if clean. Had I seen the room in daylight before I entered, I would have left. We left early dut that fact. We had booked so we had late chekout (6 pm) but left early. It was so nasty....
The staff I experienced in the lobby during check in = without any service talents. Not even low budget worthy.
The Lounge = Just go out to eat, they can´t handle a busy day and it will be the visitors who pays the price of that. They will complain to you about it as well.
I drive a Jaguar F-Pace, the parking facillities had no space.

Going to both hotel restaurants and met by unenthusiastic staff? Only reason we give three stars is because of great staff at a terrific breakfast buffet. Absolutely the highlight of our stay. But not coming back I'm afraid.

Black mold i shower, no cleaning of room between nights, AC impossible to set lower than 24 celcius, roomservice is a joke ! 1 hour 15 min after order they call and ask if they shall deliver-of course thats what roomservice means!!! Half-warm when it arrived.

The aircondition in our room was broken. We set it to the lowest temperature but no cold air came out. It was so hot we barely got any sleep.
Relaxing on the couch we saw chips, a paper, and a used face mask!! (covid) under the pillows. It was obvious it hadnt been cleaned for a long time.
The brunch was "okay" but a little boring and unfortunately the buns were dry.
We went to the bar where we sat by the bar for 10-15 minutes before a bartender asked if we wanted anything. (Well duhh.. thats like the whole reason we're here)

Don't need to say to much, all over top service, but one employee was so speciel that we will come back because of her, Malene from the reception,she made our trip here perfect,so you hotel manager, take care of her she will make all guests feel very special,so 5 stars to Malene..

Booking was easy, and the room was clean. Unfortunately, that's all the positives there are. A bit on the expensive side, and no extras, not even breakfast, which you would really expect at over 200 euros a night.

For kr 2000 pr Night without breakfast i expect a good room .. the beds are so extremly narrow ( 80 cm) that you constantly are on your way to Fall out of the bed. Our first Night gave absolut no sleep What so ever because of that which means that our only whole Day in Copenhagen was far from What we had been looking forward to because we were SO extremly TIRED. Our lunch at the place was low class also With things right out of the box put on our plates ..

Messed up, compensation was an insult
Forgot my daughter's snow hat in the room. Called back same day, they still had it. Went back to pick it up. They lost it in the meantime. Compensated me with a 85 DKK bottle of cava for a snow hat that cost 300 DKK. The concierge and his manager had nothing else to offer. Losing my property and then compensating me with <25% of its value is pretty terrible customer service in my opinion. Never coming back.
Update: after the negative review, they refunded the 300 DKK. Hence 2* not 1. But it shouldn't take negative public reviews to treat customers properly
Absolutely the worst hotel in CPH
Absolutely the worst hotel in Copenhagen. Poor service, filthy rooms, lockers and showers brooken at the pool area. Very bad maintnence everywhere at the hotel. We even found what we suspect to Be bodily fluids, on the furniture, in our room. We of course took picture of our claims. So disgusting!
