MV Liberty Croatia
I can always trust Titan to deliver on great itineraries and to look after me on tour.
The cruise on the MV Liberty was perfect for me. The ship is an absolutely wonderful place to be, the crew are amazing, welcoming and work really hard to make sure passengers have the greatest time.
The Tour Manager is fantastic -knowledgeable, attentive, well prepared, friendly & creates a really great atmosphere.
Perhaps it says it all that this was my second time on this trip & I would do it again.

Holiday NOT AVAILABLE!!
After my previous (negative) review, I was asked to make direct contact with 'customer services' but having done so there has been no improvement.
Since March, Titan have directly emailed me with information on a "Svalbard circumnavigation expedition" yet in spite of my interest, every time I've tried to 'progress a booking' I have received the same message ....
"Sorry, your selected flight or room are no longer available. Please click ‘Check availability’ to explore other available flight and room offers."
There are (and always have been?) NO flights so to all intents and purposes, this holiday expedition is NOT AVAILABLE so, why is it still being 'promoted'?? Not something I'd expect from a reputable company!!

Our guide ‘Bhanu’ went above and beyond anything we have previously experienced or expected of a guide. Whilst the holiday was excellent and well organized, Buanu took it to another level.

Deep South USA
Just returned today 4 May 2026, from Sights and Sounds of the South, USA. Throughly enjoyed every minute of it . Our Tour Manager, Carol Boult looked after us brilliantly, with her patience, knowledge and sense of humour. Jan Riggs, our driver was also first class. They both deserve heart felt commendation!

The Great Indian Rail Journey
We went on the The Great Indian Rail Journey in April 2026. The tour went exactly as planned. It was brilliant. Good quality hotels and travel well organised. We had an excellent guide with Anuj. He was very friendly, had a great knowledge of his country and helped us out more than once with hotel queries.

#Superb experience all round
#Good Quality hotels….excellent variety of tasty food
#Tour Guide: Bhanu was first class. The experience would not have been the same without him
#Should not miss the Agra-Mohabbat-e-Taj Show- unbelievable!
Ranthambore: the promise of tigers materialised; excellent, satisfying
Our thanks also to Rishu & Rakesh at Ranthambore”Welcome Hotel” and Sajal at Hotel Leela, “who went the extra mile”.
The whole experience was just outstanding.
The only let-down was Virgin Atlantic’s meanly restrictive and cattle-packing seating on a long-haul flight….😩😤🐂🐂

The Great Indian Rail Journey - April 2026
This tour was an amazing experience. The pace was quite fast, with a number of early morning starts, but the outcome was worth it. From tigers in Ranthambore National Park to a dawn visit to the Taj Mahal in torrential rain — which made for some unforgettable and atmospheric photographs — the sightseeing was spectacular.
The logistics of visiting six towns in 14 days, involving multiple train journeys, an internal flight, and a mix of coaches and taxis, were handled extremely smoothly throughout.
The itinerary itself was very well put together, taking us through a diverse range of locations including Delhi, Amritsar, Shimla, Jaipur, Ranthambore National Park, and Agra. Each destination offered something completely different, from the spiritual atmosphere of the Golden Temple in Amritsar, to the cooler mountain air of Shimla, the vibrant colours of Jaipur, the wildlife of Ranthambore, and the iconic architecture of Agra.
Finally, a special mention must go to our tour guide, Bhanu, who was quite simply outstanding throughout. His knowledge, organisation, and calm professionalism ensured that everything ran seamlessly, even with a demanding itinerary. He struck the perfect balance between being informative and giving us space to enjoy each location, and nothing ever seemed too much trouble. Bhanu played a huge part in making this trip such a memorable experience, and we would highly recommend both him and the tour to anyone considering visiting India.

The islands are beautiful but the food was dissapointing.
"Croatia Island Explorer" small boat island cruise.
The MV Dalmatia is a lovely boat. The cabins are small, but the beds are very comfortable and there is an ensuite toilet and shower. (The shower holder was broken in ours, but no other complaints on the room). The decks are clean with plenty of seating, blankets etc, The crew are great and really friendly. The communal toilet does need a lock though and the bulb at the top of the stairs to the cabins needs replacing.
The first night, all of us were arriving late by coach and we had been notified to expect a snack and welcome drink. On arrival, we were told to go straight to our rooms, where we found a cheese and ham roll, and apple, a chocolate bar and a bottle of water. Not much of a welcome!
The food onboard was not good - breakfast was buffet style and was mostly ok, but pastries were often undercooked and on one day, they were completely uncooked. The last day was really poor, with boiled eggs, cheese, bread, no coffee cups and no one around - they were busy cleaning and loading supplies for the following week. It made us feel like we no longer mattered.
Lunch and diner was a set menu everyday - usually meat for lunch and fish for evening, with a side of veg, plus a dessert. We could help ourselves to bread (which was lovely) and salad, but on one day the salad was just grated cabbage, another was only lettuce. The menu was posted on the notice board at breakfast daily, but there was no choice of food. Often the food was under or overcooked. At the captain's meal we were served courgette risotto that was under-cooked and hard (shame as the flavour was lovely), followed by steak that was overcooked, stone cold, with a knob of unmelted butter on top.
The bar area closes at 10 which also means no access to tea, coffee or the water machine until 7am the next day. (There are no facilities for drinks in the cabins).
The islands and sailings were wonderful. The walking tours were often arranged last minute for late in the day (4ish), so rather than wait around, we opted to explore on our own and with other passengers for a few of them. It was wonderful weather on our week, with high temperatures. This does make walking for upto 2hour on tours difficult with no respite or water. I do think bottled water should be offered or available to buy from the boat.
Some of the tours (Scented Garden, the winery, and Goli) have uneven, rocky, narrow and/or very steep terrain that several passengers found difficult. Also distances estimated by our tour guide Danko were often unrealistic, resulting in several passengers struggling to walk to waiting coaches or venues.
Overall I have loved the sailing, and the islands we have visited are beautiful and welcoming. However, I found our tour manager unsympathetic to those who couldn't manage, and some of his comments/jokes offensive (I am not prepared to repeat them here). Given the price of this holiday, I am disappointed and expected more from Titan/Saga.

Secrets of Southern Italy and Sicily. SOLO tour date
Returned home on 27th April 26, after a memorable 11 day trip Solo tour to Southern Italy and Sicily.
Beth, our Tour Rep went above and beyond to ensure we were all very well taken care of, with her recommendations and advice and counting us all on and off the coach. We could all spot each other anyway after a few days. It was reassuring that she remained with us for the duration of the trip, and not a succession of different designated folk to herd us along. Ditto our driver, who deserved a medal frankiy, driving through busy places, narrow streets, up and back down again negotiating mountainous hair pin bends!
We had tour guides on several excursions, and wore a headset on various outings.
Stayed in three different hotels in different locations.
Not all had tea & coffee making facilities in the room. Brits ordering tea in Italy seems a hard ask. Cups are far too small and tea bags are weak.
In one cafe I was given hot milk in a cup with a tea bag in the saucer. Another time a cup of hot, not boiling water, with tea bag floating, then frothy hot milk was added! Oh dear!
One would think with the amount of GB tourists over the years, they could rustle up a decent mug of 'builders' by now!
Two hotels were minus private balcony, although ample room to sit outside on pretty terraces with views.
The Italian way at evening meals is often to serve a starter, then meat and potatos, but a lack of hot vegetables were invariably missing off the plate.
I yearned for broccoli, cauli, carrots, peas, green beans, spring cabbage, courgette, any item of green to complete the dinner plate. Plenty of salad and fruit but bananas not offered for breakfast.
The tour explored traditional stone Trulli houses, cave dwellings. - once 'The Shame of Italy', now treasured.
Cathedrals, churches, museums, palaces and amphitheatres. Down time and beach promenade strolls and relaxing with choices of flavours of home made icecream that the Italians proudly present so well.
Pasta in a palace, local Wine tasting, an interesting tour of a family Licquorice factory, were just some of our varied experiences.
The ferry from the toe of Italy across to Sicily was a highlight. On the final day, ascending by the recently reopened cable car after Winter maintenance, to the summit of Mount Etna. White snow and ice, black volcanic rocks and sooty scree, contrasted against a beautiful blue sky. Moon buggy vehicles drive visiting tourists up and back down through high banks of snow. Warm clothing and foldable walking poles required. Thick socks and sensible shoes. Mountain boots could be hired. One lady carefully alighted from the terrain vehicle, who was wearing white open toed sandals, a summer dress with cardigan, but very soon realised her error of judgement and promptly descended immediately. The air is cold and rarified! The views spectacular. A bucket list box ticked!
Some early breakfasts with 8.30 starts on the coach outings, which would not suit all. This was to arrive at places before the crowds, and also mindful of the strengthening sun in the afternoons. Take a water bottle to rehydrate.
Mid to end of April worked out just right. Any later on in the season and the heat would prevent extensive sightseeing and uphill and down dale exploration of Southern Europe.
I congratulated myself on the decision. Met some very interesting like minded folk in our group, who all had individual tales to tell, bonded very well and looked out for each other. Often seen bent over double laughing.
Anyone thinking of undertaking a Solo group tour need not worry. A balance of having good company, time to oneself and most of all, the knowledge that all these spectacular sights in this big wide world are out there to be seen, so grasp the nettle, take a 'brave' pill, save up, book up, then off you go! TITAN came up trumps!

problems with plane seats
just back from a trip with Titan to Vietnam and Cambodia. There were many positives in what was our most expensive holiday and our longest flights. We were well looked after and the places we stayed in were superb. However the biggest issue was that our seats on our flight were not prearranged and as a result my wife and I were in different parts of the plane on a 14 hour flight. Titan were approached on this and said that this could not be avoided. Our view is this possibility/approach should be clear to customers from the outset as it would have meant we would not have booked with Titan...and will not do again

Titan Great Indian Rail Journey
I went on the Titan Great Indian Railway Journey, 7th-22nd April, which was fabulous. Amazing sights and sounds and sounds and terrific experience. We covered all the main attractions and places to see but still had some time to relax. Our tour manager, Gadjendra, was very good and extremely knowledgeable. He made everything run smoothly. The hotels were all excellent except perhaps for the Courtyard Marriott in Agra where the hot food tended to be lukewarm rather than hot but all the hotels had a good buffet selection of curries, salads and European dishes. The hotel in Shimla was sheer luxury! We were extremely lucky in seeing tigers and a sloth bear as well as the other wildlife in Ranthambore National Park. A really brilliant trip.

Adriatic Coastal Explorer
Probably the best holiday we've ever had.
Seamless from pick up to drop off a week later, even with the new EES at the airport.
The MV Amorena was pristine. Our lower cabin was compact, but adequate and comfortable. The food was excellent, as was the service. If evening entertainment was provided, it was local and enjoyable.
The Captain and crew were all very friendly and nothing was too much bother.
The Dalmatian coast has a rugged beauty and the visits to places of interest were at a sensible pace with plenty of free time to explore further. It was nice to sample the local restaurants and bars when the evening meal was not served on board. The Croatians are very amicable and helpful if you're sure about the menu. They seem to prefer cash.
Our tour manager "Bobby" was knowledgeable about his homeland and many other things besides. Couldn't do enough to ensure everyone had a good time. A real bonzer geezer:)
We boarded as customers.....left as friends

Stunning holiday on MV Amorena
We had a wonderful holiday sailing on the MV Amorena in Croatia with Titan Travel.
The ship is beautifully maintained by the smiley, well organised crew, always ensuring we were moored at the best locations in the places we visited.
The places we visited were a mixture of towns, villages and national parks. If we were choosing our own itinerary these are the places we would have chosen. At each location a tour was organised either with a local guide or with our tour manager Bobby Anic, ensuring a good balance of history and fun. Followed by free time to explore. On the evenings we dined ashore Bobby was fantastic at providing excellent recommendations for places to eat.
Back on board there were many varied local musicians who came onboard to entertain us in the evenings.
Our tour manager Bobby Anic is very experienced and fun. It’s impossible not to have a great laidback holiday under his carefully curated plans. We would definitely return.
