Horrible Customer Service

Horrible customer service. I called 5 minutes after my order was placed to report an error in the shipping address. Customer service was utterly incompetent, and after a long run around, they claimed they had to submit a request to the warehouse to not ship the order. Two days later, it was shipped anyway.

As a gym owner and longtime Titan Fitness customer, I never thought I’d be leaving a review like this, but my recent experience has completely changed my opinion of the company.

The issue isn’t necessarily the equipment itself—I’ve purchased quite a bit from Titan over the years, and much of it has served its purpose. The problem is the way Titan handles product updates, compatibility, and customer service.

Titan updated one of their rack systems and discontinued the previous version along with compatible attachments. Unfortunately, there was very little clarity during the purchasing process that the attachments I was ordering would not work with my existing rack. I used the same account and purchase history I’ve always used, and there was no obvious “V2” designation or other clear identifier in the product name that would immediately signal compatibility differences to existing customers.

As a result, I ended up with three attachments totaling less than $130 that are completely unusable. I’ve been trying to resolve this issue since April. During that process, I was initially told that Titan never received my emails. However, after pushing further, a customer service representative was eventually able to locate those same emails and reference them during our conversation.

The explanations I received afterward felt more like excuses than solutions. I was told there were multiple tickets involved and that this somehow prevented a resolution. As someone who understands how ticketing systems work, that explanation raised more concerns about internal management and customer support processes than it answered.

What is most disappointing is that Titan appears willing to lose a longtime customer over a relatively small amount of money rather than simply doing what is right. Companies make product revisions all the time. The difference is that the best companies are transparent about compatibility changes and stand behind their customers when issues arise.

At this point, I would rather spend my money with companies that clearly communicate product compatibility, support their customers after the sale, and respond in a reasonable timeframe when problems occur. Even purchasing used equipment through Facebook Marketplace feels less frustrating than dealing with this situation.

Titan may offer decent equipment, but customer service is what determines whether customers come back. Unfortunately, this experience has ensured that I won’t.

I couldn’t be happier with my…

I couldn’t be happier with my experience with Titan Fitness!

I recently ordered a large amount of equipment, and everything arrived in perfect condition. The only issue I encountered was that I was missing a small bag of hardware for one of my benches. Considering the size of my order, it was a very minor issue.

I contacted customer service and explained that I had been extremely careful while unpacking and assembling every piece of equipment, so I was confident the hardware had not been misplaced or mixed in with other parts. Meia promptly responded, requested a few photos of the packaging, and immediately opened a case. She had the replacement hardware shipped out the very next day. She even took the time to verify my address to ensure everything would arrive correctly.

I also want to recognize Christen and Jonas. Throughout my various inquiries before and after placing my order, all three representatives—Christen, Jonas, and Meia—were absolutely amazing. Every interaction was friendly, professional, and incredibly responsive.

Before ordering, I was a little hesitant because I had read some reviews claiming that customer service was difficult to reach. That has not been my experience at all. In fact, every time I contacted Titan Fitness, I received a fast response and excellent support.

Thank you, Titan Fitness! I love my equipment and truly appreciate how quickly and professionally your team handled everything. It’s refreshing to work with a company that makes customer service such a priority and doesn’t make resolving a simple issue difficult at all. I will definitely be a returning customer.

Buyer Beware - Go With Rep Fitness Instead

My first and last experience with Titan Fitness. I saw their Memorial Day sale on social media and decided to place an order for a Rack, Dip Bars, and Weight Plate Storage. I tried to place my order on the website on a Saturday, but never received confirmation of purchase until much later in the day. I promptly emailed them right after the order to see if my order was actually placed. Come Monday, I was surprised to find that the order was placed twice. I immediately contacted them to cancel the duplicate and checked to see whether the orders had been delivered to Fedex yet, which they had not. They cancelled everything but the dip bars as the rack and storage were on backorder anyways. I was told that in-stock orders could not be cancelled and the items would ship anyways. The next day I received notification the package was dropped off at Fedex. I was then told if I wanted to return the duplicate dip bars, I would be subject to a 20% restocking fee and responsible for my own shipping, despite that the duplicate order was a result of their website glitch. Retail shipping for a 20lb package was estimated at over $300 by multiple carriers. Customer service was very indifferent and took 24-48 hours to respond to each message. This experience has completely soured my opinion on Titan Fitness. If I wanted customer service this bad, I would've ordered from a no-name Amazon brand. I'll be ordering from Rep Fitness from now on and recommend everyone else do the same.

Angelo provided excellent customer service throughout this entire process. He was professional, responsive, and kept me informed every step of the way. Although there was an issue with my order, Angelo worked diligently to find a solution and made the return process as smooth as possible. He clearly explained my options, answered my questions promptly, and ensured I had everything needed to complete the return. His patience, communication, and commitment to helping the customer are greatly appreciated. Thank you, Angelo, for your outstanding support and assistance.

This review is a Two edged sword.
I have many Titan products. I find them to be of decent quality for home gym use.
We have the Lat Pull Down/Pulley Row with the 300lb stack,Bench Press stands, Bench Press weight Hooks, Belt Squat Machine, Multi Grip Bar and the Seated Hack Squat Sled machine.
I like them all. Good quality for the price. NOT commercial grade.

So, dont expect quick answers.
I wanted to leave some good reviews but I cant. I have been trying to. I have sent many emails asking for help with no response.
They're good st sending emails and text reminders
They are also good on quick shipping.

Customer service is a thing of the past. Online stores are in it for the money. They deal with a lot of people and do Not have an adequate staff to respond to emails. Ive even tried calling with no success.

But the products are good.

I was looking to purchase a specific…

I was looking to purchase a specific piece of equipment and saw how it was priced and wanted to wait for a sale. My inbox is filled with DISCOUNTED 25%, 43%, etc. but the price never changes.
Then if you try to check out, you realize they want you to pay for the insurance on what they are shipping to you. Totally scummy practice. You have to search around to find the link to choose not to pay for their insurance. (The very bottom of where your Secure Checkout is - basic link with Checkout Without Coverage.) True scammy BS.

Best customer service and the right equipment I needed

I used their website for customer service to get the info I needed for a purchase. I contacted a few different companies, and Titan was the only company to get back with me. Alex was super helpful in finding the gear I needed and assisting with the purchase. When I order next time, I will go straight to Titan Fitness for the equipment I need and their customer service.

Titan Fitness Won Our Business

Alex Salas has been great and very helpful. Alex has answered all my questions and has put together an amazing deal for me on the package that I needed to start my business. Alex was professional, friendly, replied with answers and quotes in a timely manner and most of all was patient with me as I added products and removed products to get my order right. I honestly could have went with any company for this business venture and I could have included multiple companies to work with.... in saying that Titan Fitness can thank Alex Salas for earning my company's business.
