I have been coming tipu sultan for many years but today I have received the absolute best customer service from Babar. Very friendly and very helpful.

Very disappointed with tipu sultan but not food related. I have ordered many times from here and always for delivery. On my last occasion of ordering for some reason my order was logged for collection but I had not noticed. I checked my phone around 10 minutes after the usual delivery time only to see that my order was ready for collection ? I tried calling but no answer, was really shocked that they didn't call me to see why I hadn't picked up my order after having taken payment of around £18. (£17.19)
To date I still havnt heard from them or recieved a refund. Sadly lost a good customer.

I have visited and eaten here multiple times and never been disappointed. In short:

Excellent location
Excellent food
Excellent decor
Excellent service (especially Babbar)

I would strongly recommend Tipu Sultan for all occasions.

Simran is an absolute delight and she made my evening with my friends most enjoyable with her fantastic service. Mind you, this was over 6 months ago and her service was so memorable that I’m writing a review now! She has served me with my husband since then and was just as pleasant - she definitely deserved this recognition a long time ago (sorry!) but I’m confident that everyone will be saying the same about her. I recently had the pleasure of dining at Tipu Sultan, and it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The ambiance is warm and inviting, with a perfect blend of modern elegance and cozy charm.

From the movement we walked in, the staff was attentive and friendly, ensuring we felt welcome and comfortable. The service was impeccable; our server was knowledgeable about the menu and offered excellent recommendations.

Customer service is good staff is welcoming particularly a guy named Adi served us really well .The quantity of food provided by the restaurant is very small considering the price .

Great starters accompanied with salad.
Quality of meat excellent in starters.

Quality of meat in mains not good. Definitely not lamb when specified for lamb. Cut of meat similar to cat food size.

Other mains were ok.

Chef needs to work on balance of spices in main.

As a common sense rule….when increase spice levels , you need to increase salt or sharpen taste with lemon.

Meat should not smell boiled, if it’s a karahi dish.

Front of house great, excellent service and communication.

I noticed side table wanted tap water but they were only offered to have paid water. I think legally, consumers can be served tap water if requested.

Please look into this.

Not nice, food came so quick, didn’t taste freash the meat curry was so spicy anyway would not go again.

Very late review but I had to write one , to commend the excellent service we’ve received from the Leicester branch. Wajid, the manager at Tipu Sultan in Leicester catered our event for 50 people with the best skills, customer service and prefect delivery.
Very happy with how everything worked out at our event last weekend. Huge thankyou to Wajid for sorting everything out including the easle!

went with the family at peak time, finished our food which was not great. The lamb was uncooked.
To finish off at 8:00pm,we ordered a desert, all of which were un available, what @ 8:00 when the restaurant was not even full!! We felt most unwelcomed and they were just interested in taking our money.. Never again!!

Me, my partner and my three year old son came for dinner here last Friday and it was amazing!!
The food was delicious, so many great flavour's, and good portion size’s (we took goody bags home 😄)
The layout and decor is amazing staff are very friendly and welcoming.
Especially DIANA!!! I cannot put into words how grateful we was to have her take care of us. She was VERY respectful and kind. It was very refreshing to receive such a great service from her. She is a great asset to the team and we will definitely be back soon for more!!!

The food and service was excellent.

She went out of her way to make my Mother's birthday special and memorable. And she worked extremely well with our many guests and their orders.

We appreciate her patience, effort and complete professionalism.
