Good product
This product is very good. The price a bit high. I phoned for a price which I received from yourself for a contract I was tendering for which I submitted. We did not get the contract. 3-4 weeks later I received a phone call from yourself asking if I was still interested in product and informed me that you can offer the product at a reduced rate! Why did you not let me have the product at the reduced rate first in the first place? I may of been successful winning the tender.
Fantastic product, friendly and helpful team
Very pleased with the composite decking I purchased. The quote was sent through within a day and collection made very easy.
Top team.
Great products, good value for money. Helpful, informative, efficient, friendly service.
Not brilliant

Poor quality
Purchased timco hollow boards. After eight months , started to split. Reported back to company . They then sent an inspector to investigate. The response was that the clips had not been in correct position( some where 30mm greater than guide spacing) so was not cover by their guarantee. All the timco boards are now not fit for purpose & disposed of £6000 wasted . Please do not purchase from this company.,
Further deterioration
My wife reviewed this product on here in 2014 shortly after install, as the quality of their sales and after sales was so poor.
18m later and the product has continued to deteriorate, lift, warp, buckle, discolour, and for a c.£2k investment is absolutely disgraceful quality.
DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT
Not fit for purpose.
The cladding I bought for use on my garden shed is, in my opinion, not fit for purpose when mounted vertically, even though I followed Timco Wood’s detailed instructions and spoke extensively to their Sales and Marketing lady Kat about whether I needed to pre-cover the stud partitioned shed with a waterproof membrane and/or seal the joints with a waterproof mastic. I was advised that neither was necessary and there was no mention of these requirements in the three page installation instructions, even when mounting it vertically. Subsequently it leaked and extensive tests and photographs showed water ingress through the joints, even though they were installed to their specifications. I had to remove 70 panels and install Tyvek membrane and mastic between the joints, and then re-install the panels. At the very least waterproof membrane should surely have been a sensible instruction. All the other manufacturers recommend a breathable membrane.
On close inspection there is no tongue and groove in the joint which would possibly give a resistance to water ingress when mounted vertically. When mounted horizontal my test have shown there is no water ingress.
The company have failed to respond reasonably to my complaints. They say the product is “Solely decorative....not designed to be waterproof or for insulation.”
Nowhere on their website is the word decorative used to describe their cladding, it clearly says:
....“they provide a strong, durable barrier against the weather”
.....”offering a protective weather resistant finish and improved insulation”
....”it provides a strong, durable, hard wearing, low maintenance protective barrier against the elements along with excellent insulation properties.”
There are much better, but more expensive composite cladding manufacturers out there. Timco Wood Cladding is a cheap Chinese import with a Chinese MD.
I have had a Chartered Surveyor inspect the installation and he confirms that it ha been installed exactly according to their instructions and that their website misrepresents the capability of the product. Without a tongue and groove joint he doesn't see how it could possibly stop water ingress when mounted vertically.
Very poor decking
we bought Timco decking in May 2014, at first it looked fine but as the summer wore on it started to crack and buckle. After several visits from B&Q and Timco reps. We were given lots of excuses and thought we weren't going to get anywhere but Eventually B&q have put out a recall due to health & safety issues and we are now awaiting a full refund and refitting costs.
DISGUSTING QUALITY PRODUCT
WE HAD AN EXPENSIVE TIMCO DECKING LAID A YEAR AGO ON OUR BALCONY. IT HAS NOW BUCKLED AND SPLIT BADLY. WE ARRANGED FOR A TIMCO REPRESENTATIVE TO VISIT THE SITE AND NOTHING HAS BEEN RESOLVED WHATSOEVER. WE SUBSEQUENTLY ARRANGED BUILDING SURVEYOR TO INSPECT THIS BALCONY AND WHEN HE LIFTED THE OFFENCING DECK BOARDS THEY WERE FALLING APART IN HIS HAND. BASICALLY HE SAID THE ACTUAL DECKING IS TOTAL RUBBISH QUALITY. BUYER BEWARE - THERE ARE MUCH BETTER QUALITY PRODUCTS ON THE MARKET. THIS COMPANY JUST DODGE THE GUARANTEE AND DO NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR POOR PRODUCT.
TIMCO DECKING BENDING AND SPLITTING
Installed by April 2014 using their honeycomb deck boards, joists and stainless steel clips using Timco instruction.
By May 2015 unable to go on decking as boards are bending up by 25 mm giving a trip hazard and board split.
Timco came to do a site visit and said could not gain access even though side gate left unlocked for them, they will only come out again if I PAY £250 ( they will repay if they are at fault ).
Now they will not reply to email.
Nice company to deal with BEWARE.

TIMCO DECKING IS SPLITTING
Installed Timco Wood honeycomb decking January 2014 and now in April 2015 there are very serious splitting problems. The decking was correctly installed as instructed and even unused decking stored in the garden has the same splitting issue. Waiting for Timco to contact me to arrange a survey.
A disgrace of a company, shocking product and service DO NOT BUY FROM TIMCO
3 months ago I purchased grey deck boards and grey ballustrading, which upon delivery it was not all there and the decking boards were a concern as they were different variant of grey. I was advised to fit it and jet wash it and they should fade as one, ok I'm happy with those so far. However we came to fit the ballustrading to find it does not match colour to the boards and the spindles, posts, rail and caps are all different colours to each other and to the boards. I have had to wait all this time for shipments keep being palmed off so now I have had enough and am going to trading standards, financial ombudsman, and to see a solicitor about this. We bought this through good faith at grand designs show and off the back that they had won a contract to supply B&Q, so I will be contacting there head office as well. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!
