I’ve always found all of the staff informative, friendly and helpful.

Judgemental staff
We attended their brach looking to buy a Complete bathroom and the staff behaved in a very dismissive manner saying our bathrooms start 6-10k if that's acceptable we can talk. His body language and general demeanor were poor and he simply wasn't interested assuming that based on how I was dressed or possibly the car I drive meant I wasnt likely to be able to afford this. Two days later Ive bought from a local competitor. Would NOT recommend.
Disgusting management
Disgusting. They delivered to my billing address And refused to correct it. My billing address and delivery address is 60 miles apart. Basically just apologise and told me to deliver it myself.
Side note. Took 3 weeks to deliver in stock items.

Put an order in early June and was advised as they were coming from Italy, they would take 3 weeks. Booked a tiler for 6 weeks time. After week 5 constantly chasing the order and they just palmed me off with excuses. After 8 weeks and them lying to me saying the tiles were in a lorry in France and due to be here next week without fail, I rang the haulier. They told me they hadn’t collected any tiles for Tiles Ahead currently. So again more excuses the tiles were now on a train and not at the port. I cancelled after 9 weeks and had a refund. Bought elsewhere on a next day delivery
Delivery Updates need improving
Ordered online, transaction went through smoothly as expected.
However, no attempt was made to communicate the delivery so that someone would be in to receive what was quite a heavy consignment of tiles. Perhaps an email from the courier would resolve this? No, no contact whatsoever, just a random delivery at a day and time where I was accidently in to receive them.
I sent an email asking for delivery information not long after the order but no reply was received. This is not good enough.
Would I recommend them? Absolutely not, and I haven't even checked the merch yet...

Upon inspection and subsequent installation I am going to move the rating to 3 stars based on the quality of the tiles received; all that is needed is better CS and more delivery information.

Ordered kitchen splashback tiles on 7/1 with expected 10 day delivery. Tiles had still not arrived within this period and no tracking was available on the couriers system. Call for an update on delivery and someone called me back to say a delivery attempt had been unsuccessful. Asked for re-delivery, which was agreed, but still no tracking, so no way of knowing date or time. Eventually asked for a refund on 25/1, which was refused till courier returned tiles, although tis was an internal issue. Was eventually refunded, minus the delivery fee, which was 25% of the order, plus another random £10. for an order I had no visibility of at any point. £50 out of pocket due to the couriers issues. Terrible customer service, now being ignored.
No customer service to speak of!
Why is it so hard to send a sample?! I was so excited to get some samples for tiling my new kitchen... but it took them 8 days just to send the samples out in the first place, and there is absolutely NO customer service to speak of. Finally when they arrived, they're in the wrong colour! How hard is it to send the right item and in a timely manner?
The worst part is, once I received the wrong samples and wanted to get that corrected, there's absolutely no response to the emails or chat function on the website. Multiple messages and multiple days for absolutely no customer service at all. What a waste of time and money!
Absolutely amazing service
Absolutely amazing service right from the start through to delivery. The store manager was super helpful and I would definitely recommend Tiles Ahead. I'd been to other Tile companies previously and they were not a patch on this company. Thanks for the amazing service.
Abysmal customer service
After ordering some garden tiles from Tiles ahead, we were told they would be delivered within 10 working days. Great, we had planned for our garden to be landscaped and ready for for the tiles to be delivered on Friday 17th March for the guys to lay them on Friday or Saturday.
I called them at 11:15am on the Friday as we had no notification that the tiles were on the way.
Sales didn’t answer so I ended up speaking to someone in the warehouse who informed me that the tiles had not been sent as they were out of stock. Absolute nightmare. No one at Tiles ahead thought it was a good idea to let their customer know that their order was out of stock and would not be arriving.
I then called back and asked to be put on hold until someone from sales could speak to me. Josh, the store manager tells me it is not his fault as the tiles are coming from another company, I remind him that we ordered from Tiles Ahead not a 3rd party.
Josh promised to look into getting another colour of tile delivered by Monday and would call me back and let me know as I had to let the Landscapers know what they were doing. I waited till after 2pm and called him back, he said good news, tiles will be delivered Tuesday, I told him I was expecting to be told if they could of been delivered on the Monday.
Then I ask him if he can make sure they will be delivered in the AM, he says he will find out and will phone me back before 5pm, I asked if he would definitely phone me back before 5 and he said yes. He didn’t call me back and I had to tell the Landscapers to forget coming back till Wednesday as I had no Idea what was happening.
I then sent an email to Tiles Ahead on Friday night to ask for a call back 1st thing.
Josh called me back on Saturday morning saying he had personal issues and Fridays are always manic as he has to collect his children. I then asked him when my tiles were coming and if I could I order an extra square meter, he said he could but as it was Saturday he couldn’t find out or place an order, he promised to call me 1st thing on Monday.
Monday morning came and went without another promised call back, I then called Josh at 1pm, a lady answered and told me he was with a client and would call me back when finished.
I waited till 2pm and called back and Josh answered the phone. I asked him what the hell was going on and he said he had personal issues to deal with in the morning and he couldn’t call me as he has been on the phone to his wife all morning.
He told me my order will be here Tuesday AM and when I asked him about the extra square meter he had obviously forgotten and told me it would be another 10 working days for this to come.
When I asked him what he was going to do to make amends for all the hassle he asked me if I wanted him to send me money from his personal bank account and repeatedly telling me its the other companies fault not his.
Josh managed to sort out the extra square metre for Wednesday delivery.
Tuesday AM, the new delivery day!! Tiles do not arrive in the morning, another morning of paying someone to hang around for nothing. Once the delivery driver arrives at 13:30 he tells me they were not booked for an AM delivery.
So the last piece of the jigsaw is the extra square metre that was promised for an AM delivery today (Wednesday). Again we have paid the landscaper to be at our property to take collection. Nothing shows up and after calling the store they are not arriving today, no phone call to let us know again.
This has been a shambles from start to finish.
I can only go with my experience of this company and I would avoid at all costs. Customer service is abysmal and they have let us down massively.

Iv had nothing but good customer service when visiting this Business, all the staff at tiles ahead were helpful and friendly, Iv dealt a lot with a chap called Joshua fry, and fined his knowledge of the products and the trade to be very helpful and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this company. I feel they are very professional. We had advice on our bathroom recently from Josh Fry and he was so friendly and helpful. He was able to give us advice on our pipe work and how we can re design our bathroom. I will be coming back again.
