Avoid this scammers at any cost!

Bought tickets for family of 4, payment was taken within minute and they said they will email e-ticket soon. I waited 2-3 days then called them to find out what has happened. I’ve been told 3 different stories by 3 different personnel. One said there was delay in payment, other said I tried to book twice. Then a lady suggested everything was fine and I should get the ticket in 24 hours. So I waited patiently and after more than a day called them again, I was told I have to pay extra to get the ticket. I asked why would I pay extra? Why would you take my payment if you can’t issue the tickets at the first place? They keep saying things that doesn’t sum up. So I called my bank and told them what has happened. Got my money back in 2 hours. These scammers take payment from people then issue tickets at their pace, sometimes when they can’t find the ticket on the specifics dates, they ask for extra cash to issue on another day. Plus they book tickets on the day that no flights are available (my friend found out by checking airlines website).

Can I give Zero stars please

Can I give Zero stars please or better yet go zub zero!

When you book with this agency then just pray to God that you don't have to make any changes either rebook or the airline cancelling the flights.

My flights were cancelled by Virgin and thus began my nightmare with this horrible agency.

The customer care agent rebooked me on different flights without my consent and then the agency kept blatantly lying that I agreed to the changes. Trying to call them back to resolve the issue, they took one call and kept saying that nothing can be done. From there on I started experiencing calls not being answered or disconnected.

This is a shadow agency based out of Essex, UK with its call centre and operations being managed out if Jalandhar where people adopt sudo names like Jackson.

Also avoid its sister agencies - Tickets to India and Acetrip. All of them lead to the same dark hole which will leave you in shambles.

Take your money and run, do not book with this agency!!

Quick to take your money, but shocking service thereafter

Booked in Jan to travel in March from London to Delhi. Service whilst booking was ok, but went downhill significantly when covid-related restrictions hit in India. Phonecalls would not be answered, promised callbacks not made and I was even charged for a new ticket when no ticket was issued. Exercised my right to make a chargeback claim on return to London, the company did not substantively engage in the process and I won the claim. They're now taking me to court for their own incompetence and seeking recovery of the settlement made in my favour. I'll be defending it robustly, as I've gone completely by the book and it is the company that has been the major let down.

Dear Mahmood,

I understand from looking at your booking that you are looking at making changes to your open ticket (as the original dates were not possible due to Covid) but that you are unhappy with the fare difference required for your new selected dates.

Tickets to World is an agent/ intermediary according to IATA regulations which means that we can only offer/ provide whatever the airlines are showing. Fares change according to availability and we have absolutely no control over this. We can only quote according to what is available at the time you contact us and no quotes can be guaranteed until payment is made and the changes are notified to the airline.

I am sorry that you are unhappy with the new costs but as I said, Tickets to World has no control over this whatsoever.

Kind regards,

Customer Care Team

low fares, but horrible customer service

I have been using Ticketstoworld/ticketstoindia for the past 4 to five years, they are not only the lowest but give you exceptionally good service.... I thought, till it came to me eating the pudding.
I paid £100 extra to have my ticket flexible during these covid times. 20 days before my return i decided to extend my return to three months later. One would agree that the fare difference would be the same as the new date was 3 months away, however agent Sukhdeep Khinda gave me a bill of £117 stating it was as per "fare rules" and then laughed at me, saying I was being illogical!! customer service?? was I wrong? no, as 30 minutes later, I called the Airline direct and got it done for no price difference at all!
So as much as I did initially give these jokers five stars, the proof was in them actually delivering and they failed. They have a hundred excuses to charge you more.
Conclusion, if you are willing to take the risk for low prices go ahead, but do not expect getting service without shelling out a minimum of £100 for changes, despite all their initial promises.

Very poor and unprofessional Customer service

I had an awful experience with tickets to world. My family booking (4 persons) was cancelled by the air line late June. I called to ask about my options, Simran from customer service, gave unclear answer. She said the Air line might deduct £50 as a tax or might not. She didn’t mention anything about handling fee and didn’t explain that I can avoid any deductions if I chose the voucher option. I got my refund with a deduction of £200 they said it was for handling though I was not the one who cancelled, it was the air line. This is one booking for the whole family why didn’t you just detect £50 only For the whole booking?! So because of the unclear and unprofessional behaviour of your customer service I lost £200!!
I will not use tickets to world again
I don’t recommend them for anybody
You might get cheap tickets from them
But when there is a problem you will get
The poorest service and you will lose a lot.
One more thing, my first call to ask about my options the person who answered me was shouting over the phone!! his name was Mandeep Singh.

Dear David,

I am pleased to hear that you have already received your refund. As I am sure you will appreciate, there are tens of thousands of people yet to receive theirs due to the delays processing these on the airline side as a result of having staff on furlough.

As far as Tickets to World is concerned, we refund customers as soon as the money is received from the airline. We do not hold the customer's money as we pay the airline IN FULL before we can issue the tickets. Therefore, we have to wait for them to refund us before we can get the money back to the customer.

As far as your refund is concerned, I have looked at your booking and it does not appear that your refund has anything to do with any assistance from your card company. We received the refund and asked you for passport copies (as many airlines are enforcing cancellation fees for certain passport holders who chose not to travel) and refunded you as soon as we had received this from you.

As far as our £50 handling fee is concerned, we have to charge for the work that we do. Simply put, if we did not do the work to get you your refund, the airline would not refund you directly. Like any other business that provides a service, we have to make a charge for this and we are fully entitled to do so. This is of course included in our terms and conditions which you agreed to at the time you made the booking.

I gave one star during March 2020, but it's not even worth for single star. Utterly poor customer service and don't keep their words anytime. Very very worst service. I m still waiting for refund for the ticket cancelled during March mid. Hope you all understand how frustrated I am with this travel agent.

Hi Yogesh,

As you know, as an agent we are entirely reliant on the airlines to approve refunds and return the funds to us before we can refund to customers. We do NOT hold the customer's money - the airline is paid in full as soon as the ticket is issued.

I will, however, check with our refunds team as we have been receiving quite a lot of refunds even though we still have over £3 million worth of refunds still to come in.

please avoid this company

please avoid this company, yes the prices are cheap initially and you'll want to save money as we all do. However, they are con artists, liars, and thieves. My family was on holiday in India and the COVID pandemic broke out and their return flight was canceled, they were traveling on Virgin Atlantic. Once we heard about this we were then informed we'd need to pay an additional £90 per person to book another return flight which we did as we wanted my family to get home asap. This flight was then canceled again and we have to use a flight organised by the British embassy and then pay more money for another return flight however this flight was not canceled and my parents arrived home, however, the nightmare continued as I contacted this cowboy operator for a refund for the £270 and return flights we paid intially as stated in the ATOL protection terms. I was informed that only a partial refund of £50-£70 could be refunded per seat and they would process this for a nominal fee (note they didn't state the price of the nominal fee), I initially felt this was wrong as this didn't even cover the extra I paid for rebooking the seats and I asked how much this nominal fee was, it was £50!!!!! This got me angry so I started to do my research and found that legally we were allowed for a full refund and if we could accept a voucher but if you accept a voucher this should be a higher value then what you paid. I kept emailing them asking them more questions and why they wouldn't offer me a cash refund as is my right, they kept stating I was only allowed a small refund. After some more back and forth emails, they informed me they have now applied for a partial refund which I never gave my consent for, and when I state this they point blank just emailed me back saying this is now done. I've now had to take the step to contact the citizen advice bureau, I've reported them to trading standards and will be contacting the head office for a final response and opportunity to fix this issue. Whatever happens, I won't ever be using this operator even if they offer free flights and recommend you ignore what to me appear to be fake reviews as these guys are rogue operators. And I will not stop till I get my full refund as is my legal right. Also please note they operate under a lot of different names such as ticketstopakistan, mybarcelona etc

Worst customer service ever!

Worst customer service ever!

Had to cancel flight to Philippines as was due to fly via China in February. Refund request accepted 13/2/20 with 4-6 weeks processing time. Here we are on June 1st and after numerous mistruths across 4 further phone calls, and countless missed deadlines and failed promises, and I'm having to claim a chargeback from my credit card provider as this company will say anything to avoid refunding me.

I've used this company before and found things to be just fine, but when things go wrong they are hopeless.

That £10 I saved to use this company isn't looking such a bargain now!

UPDATE: have today received an email explaining that the company intends to meet the credit card chargeback I've been forced to make with a bill. This is against the merchant service agreement that this company has agreed to be able to process card payments and will not be accepted.

Needless to say, this email was sent to me instead of replying to this complaint on TrustPilot.

A genuine professional guy called Anoop

This is quite difficult times for the world due to this Virus. We travelled to India assuming everything will be OK. However due to the gravity of the situation India shut down its borders and we are stuck in India as our flight was within the commercial air planes closure. So we wanted to re-book our flights as we got notifications from our airline. At Tickets to India, a very helpful guy Annop came to our rescue. We were in India and my daughter Jas sought his help to sort out the flights. Anoop was very calm, helpful and caring person, who gone extra mile to help us. A big thank you to Anoop and Tickets To India Staff for handling this situation very professionally. Three cheers to all of them

RUBBISH WEBSITE - SCAM!!!

RUBBISH WEBSITE - ABSOLUTE SCAM!!!!!

Do not even waste your money with them.
My flight got cancelled due to Covid-19 and I called to ask for my money back.
All the phone numbers on their website are scams, they all hang up on you when you are apparently first in the queue (total lies).

Lost over £500 and I advise NO ONE to purchase with them.

DO NOT BOOK AND SERVICE IS AWFUL

DO NOT BOOK! Booked a flight with them pre the COVID 19 outbreak and contacted them after the FCO advised British people against all non-essential travel worldwide. Contacted them and was told that there was nothing they could do as the Government of the Country I was going to had not shut its borders. I asked him to explain why I should go against the advice the advice of my Government and was told there is nothing they can do other than make me pay the cancellation fee.
AGAIN I WOULD SAY DO NOT BOOK AND PAY THE EXTRA AND BOOK DIRECT WITH THE AIRLINE!

Dear Danish,

Unfortunately, as an agent, we can only work with the advisories that we receive from the respective airlines in conjunction with advice from government. Although the British Government has advised against all non-essential travel abroad, regrettably not all the airlines are being quite so pragmatic. Some are offering refunds, some are offering re-booking and some offer vouchers where customers can not travel due to visa or other travel restrictions. Where there are no restrictions, regrettably the airlines are applying their normal cancellation and re-booking policies.

I can assure you that any advice that we give comes straight from the airline. If it is the airline that have not allowed re-booking or refunds, then it would not make any difference whether you booked through us or them.

That said, I am more than happy to take a look at your booking to see if anything can be done. If you would like me to do this, please email me with your full booking details to nick@ticketstoworld.co.uk

I look forward to hearing from you.

Bad experience.

My February 8th flight was cancelled for me due to the virus. Talked to a very dishonest GARRY from Tickets to World who was trying to get me another flight with an extra 190 pounds plus a 25 pound administration charge with a bad connection from an airport that I didn't want to fly from. After a 90 minute conversation/ argument with GARY he was insisting that this was the only option and he got quite rude and eventually slammed the phone down on me as I didn't want to take him up on his bad flight. I also asked to speak to the manager and he insisted that he was the supervisor. Later I spoke to Anna and she got me my full refund and the flight that I wanted for only 85 pounds extra, the same flight Gary was saying it would cost me over 300 pounds extra and had a very bad connection. I flew to Philippines from London 3 times last year and used tickets to world but never had this problem . WHY did this happen to me !!!!!

Dear Timothy,

Thank you for your feedback.

I would like to start by thanking you for your custom over the last few years. This is very much appreciated and it is of course therefore very unfortunate that you had this experience on this occasion.

As I am sure you will appreciate, prices are based upon "live" availability over which we unfortunately have no control. I understand from speaking with Garry that he quoted you as per the availability at the time that he spoke to you and it appears that the cost of this had come down by the time you made the changes with Anna. This does not - of course - take anything away from the way that the call was handled and I would like to apologise for any distress caused. I will be speaking to Garry about this and about how we can improve upon the call handling in future.

I can assure you that you are a very valued customer to us and we would be very disappointed to lose you. I do hope that you might allow us another opportunity to be of service in future despite what happened on this occasion. If you do decide to book with us again and experience any difficulties at all, please do not hesitate to contact me directly at nick@ticketstoworld.co.uk
