This builder is entirely incompetent

This builder is entirely incompetent. Avoid like the plague. I found them through the FMB so expected them to be professionals but had problems from the start. Tom brought used materials from other jobs to build my new extension. Walls are built unevenly walls with varying mortar joints and poor pointing. The GRP flat roof has leaked from the outset and has been condemned by 4 roofers and a chartered surveyor. Tom refused to follow the drawings and simply made it up as he went along. The lead used is Code 3 instead of Code 4 as per the plans. Corner cutting and bodging at every opportunity. When I asked Tom to leave and hand back my keys he refused and broke in one night to steal materials and ladders! No doubt to use on the next unsuspecting customer. Tom refuses to take calls or answer messages about the money I have paid him for this appalling work.
