Great service and company. Please change your shipment provider.

They are really good and have a lot of options to choose from. At least for entry levels. I am really satisfied with them as a company and really appreciate how fast they were to solve an issue I had with my Bass. I'd give them 5 stars without any issue if it wasn´t because they ship their items with the absolute worst delivery company there is in Europe, DHL. They are super slow and inaccurate.

Great Site amazing Customer Support

Their site is really intuitive and their prices are really competitive.

I am from Greece and I needed support for my order and the customer support (from the people responsible for Greece and Cyprus) were amazing. The best customer support I ever got. Knew their domain, super nice and always to the point with their answer!

Loyal customer for years — first issue, and a terrible experience.

I purchased a Neural DSP Quad Cortex in September 2024. After about a year of flawless use, the unit developed a serious fault — extremely low input levels across all inputs, with loss of dynamics and sound quality.

The unit was sent for repair through Thomann. The process took approximately three months. According to the service report, the I/O board was replaced — but the fault was never confirmed before the repair, and the result was never verified afterwards. When I received the unit back, the problem was completely unchanged.

I have provided Thomann with detailed documentation: video of the fault, controlled measurements from all three inputs, and a comparison against another unit under identical conditions showing a 20–25 dB difference. The manufacturer (Neural DSP) has reviewed the case and was unable to confirm whether the unit is within specification. The email thread between myself, Thomann and Neural DSP contains 55 emails — they have not been accommodating at all.

Despite all of this, Thomann refused to offer a refund or replacement. They repeatedly insisted on another repair cycle — without answering whether a confirmed fault would actually lead to a resolution. They also tried to shift responsibility to the manufacturer's warranty, even though my claim is directed at Thomann as the seller.

I have been without a functioning unit since November 2025 — nearly five months. As a long-time customer who has never previously had an issue, this has been an extremely frustrating experience. I expected far better from Thomann.

2026-04-14: Thomann has now invited me to contact their review team, and I have done so. I hope this leads to a fair resolution. Will update this post :)

2026-04-20: The case has been escalated to Thomann's Nordic Team Leader. However, the response indicates that Thomann intends to process this as a standard warranty service request — meaning I need to return the unit again via PostNord and wait for inspection, with no commitment to a specific timeline or outcome. The previous repair cycle took approximately three months. I have no reason to expect this will be faster. My complaints to ECC Norway and the chargeback process through my card provider remain active and will continue in parallel.

Never Delivered - No refund despite proof

I never received my item which DHL claimed they delivered to me, but in fact, delivered to a wrong address which refused it. Thomann refuses to refund me £77.90 despite DHL's photo showing wrong delivery location and DHL's admssion to me that they delivered to a wrong place. DHL never got back to me afterwards.

Because DHL's system claims that it was delivered to my address, Thomann will ignore all my evidence gathered and refuses to give me my refund or replacement, saying they must "investigate."

I did two weeks of investigation for Thomann and chased down what happened with evidence, but neither Thomann nor their chosen courier DHL is showing accountability nor empathy.

£77.90 is a drop in a bucket for these two companies. But for a student on a budget who saved up for weeks to buy a reed cutter for my saxophone practice, it is a fortune.

What an unempathetic, unprofessional company.

Beware of Long Return Delays at Thomann

I’m very disappointed with my recent return experience at Thomann. It’s been over two weeks since I sent the item back and I still haven’t received my refund. According to the tracking information, the return has been stuck at customs for eight days now with no progress. The whole process feels far too slow compared to other retailers. I expected a smoother and faster resolution from a company of Thomann’s size and reputation

Guitar clearly wasn’t brand new

Guitar clearly wasn’t brand new, a lot of scratches on the guitar body and neck, the headstock was dented?? This definitely didn’t happen in transit as the guitar came nested in 2 boxes and a guitar case which were all fine. The input jack had visible grime and collected dust… Thomann admitted it had been sent to a customer before but apparently was “never accepted”. The manufacturer box had been re-sealed several times? They tried to offer me £75 off a £1700 damaged guitar which was laughable. Wasting my time sending me a guitar which clearly wasn’t new (as labeled) and leaving me the hassle of sending it back.

Worst customer experience

My god, Thoman is the worst customer service experiemce if my life. Now, the regional customer service has responded to ny questions with the same email 6 times, ond they have done nothing with my problems.

Do not place orders

Do not place orders! The products you order for the "sale" price are not even in stock. Because it is an international order. Your money is gone! God knows when I recieve my refund. Called costumer service. They do not help at all. The cancelled products of mine are still in stock. Really dissapointend in Europe"s "BIGGEST" music store. You can change it to Europe"s lowest costumer service!

The best online shop ever!

They respond in seconds. Placing the order is smooth and quick. They have very friendly and professional support. If you claim a warranty issue, there are no unnecessary questions! You can call them, write an e-mail or talk to them online. Talk to the real person, not some AI... There is no online shop like that. And I'm not an employee of Thomann, just one very satisfied customer!

I bought an electronic drum kit in…

I bought an electronic drum kit in January 2026 as a gift for my daughter. It quickly became a major disappointment.
The drum module was defective from day one. I've had to send it back three times, and the kit has been stuck in transit or under repair for over two months. Multiple support reps and even a third-party company confirmed the module is faulty. Extremely frustrating — Thomann seems to have little control and even less care for customers.

Worrying unboxing experience

The box it showed up in did not exactly inspire confidence. The products were just loosely in a box that was barely holding together. I thankfully did not order expensive electronics, just a bag and a cheap power supply.
