I recently attended the Boy to King retreat and it really made me confront truths that I had not been able to in the past. From the get go, all of the men really leant into the work and showed strength and vulnerability that I have not witnessed before. It was an honour to be part of the group.

All credit to the professionalism of Alexander and his dedicated team of facilitators and chefs who delivered an unbelievable experience.

It was a great experience and something I think the world needs more of. Words really can't describe the magic that this experience brings to one's life. I recently had the chance to attend an Unmasked Man retreat and I’m really grateful to Alex and the team for the work they’re doing. The experience was truly powerful , from learning about trauma release to having honest conversations in a space where everyone is there to grow.

What stood out most was the sense of brotherhood. It’s rare to be in an environment where men can be open, support each other and encourage their fellow brothers’ growth. It felt so refreshing to be able to hang out with everyone, without the masks and natural barriers men tend to put up.

The whole team were down to earth, approachable and really helpful too. They genuinely care about the men and the work they do.

I’d highly recommend it to any man who to seeks a deeper understanding of himself and experience a sense of true brotherhood.

I wanted to share my POV as the wife of a man who went on The Unmasked Man retreat.

Since coming home, over the last couple of weeks I have witnessed such a profound and beautiful change in my James. He came back more grounded, more present, and the way he has shown up for me and our son has honestly been night and day.

There is a steadiness in him now, a deeper presence, and it’s been so beautiful to witness as his wife. It feels like he has come home to himself in such a powerful way, and because of that, he is able to show up more fully for the people he loves.

It has also been so lovely hearing him speak about the bonds and connections he made there, and how highly he speaks of Alexander and all the incredible facilitators. You can truly feel the impact the retreat has had on him, not just in what he says, but in who he has been since returning.

The Unmasked Man is clearly very special work that our world needs right now. Because when a man does this kind of work on himself, it doesn’t just change him, it changes the people he loves too.

Level 1: Boy to King opened me up in ways I didn’t expect. The archetype work, emotional release sessions, breathwork and sharing circles helped me shed years of weight and reconnect with a calmer, more empowered version of myself.

The setting at the Merkabah Retreat Centre is absolutely stunning — a peaceful, nature‑rich environment that holds the work beautifully and makes the entire journey even more powerful.

Alexander and his team were phenomenal — Josh, Kieren, Tom, Silem and Max held the space with such care and strength. And the Kitchen Kings — Brandon, Rob and James — nourished us with food that genuinely felt like part of the healing.

I left feeling peaceful, inspired, and back in control of my life. A truly transformative retreat. Thank you.

I attended Unmasked Man Retreat Level 1 in February 2026 in Dorset, and as this was my first ever men’s retreat, I honestly did not know what to expect. What I experienced was absolutely mind-blowing and far beyond anything I could have imagined.

The work was deep, challenging, and at times confronting, but also incredibly powerful. It felt like the kind of experience that has the potential to be truly life-changing if you are willing to show up fully and do the work.

The setting in Dorset was beautiful, which created the perfect space for reflection and transformation. The food was wonderful, the facilitators were exceptional, and the sense of true brotherhood throughout the retreat was something very special. There was a real feeling of safety, support, and authenticity that made it possible to open up in a way I never expected.

I left with a huge sense of gratitude and respect for everyone involved. For any man considering this retreat, I can say it exceeded all my expectations and offered something profoundly meaningful.

This is more than just a retreat. This men's work is beyond powerful and I left Level 1 an entirely different man. Alexander and his team of facilitating wizards Josh, Kieran, Tom and Selim are true masters in holding a safe, loving, confidential and empowering space. With their help, I was able to overcome my anxiety, trust myself, face some of my darkest demons and leave a much lighter and confident man. The brotherhood forged with the other men in the space is unique and I wish every man could experience this feeling and work. Shoutout to Max and the Kitchen Kings Brandon, Rob and James who not only cooked up banquets fit for a king but created a special container with their music, listening and love. I can't wait for my next UM event!

I returned from Morocco ten days ago, and I'm still integrating what happened there.

I came to The Unmasked Man Morocco journey as a newcomer to this particular community, though not to the world of retreats. Over the years I've sat in many rooms as a participant, and as a facilitator myself. I know what good looks like, and I know the gap between an experience that's well-organised and one that is genuinely transformative. What Alexander has built sits firmly, and without hyperbole, in the latter category.

The facilitation is world-class. Not in the polished, performative sense but in the truest sense of the word: skilled, adaptive, deeply attuned. What struck me most was the quality of the container. Creating a safe space for men to show up fully is no small undertaking. Sustaining that safety across the arc of a multi-day experience, through the inevitable tensions, breakthroughs, and rawness that surfaces, that requires a different order of skill entirely. It was done exceptionally well.

The attention to detail was outstanding, both practically and emotionally. Nothing felt accidental. And yet, crucially, there was a beautiful spontaneity woven through the structure, a willingness to follow what the group needed, rather than rigidly serve a programme. That balance is rare, and it made all the difference.

What I respect most, and what I think sets this work apart, is that the leaders don't just facilitate vulnerability, they embody it. Vulnerability as courage isn't a tagline here. It's a lived example, modelled from the front. That includes an openness to feedback, to uncertainty, and to not having all the answers. In a space designed to invite men into honesty, there is nothing more powerful than watching the people leading the room do the same.

I will be forever grateful for this experience. It has already changed something in me that I suspect will continue to unfold for months and years ahead. If you're a man considering it, just jump in. You won't regret it.

I am returning home to USA following the Morocco retreat, my third Unmasked Man retreat in the past 10 months, and it was beyond powerful: the best yet! The Moroccan landscape and people were amazing and brought a new energy to the work. Alexander and fellow facilitators, Kieran and Josh are nothing short of brilliant as they each used their experience and intuition to guide each man through the work needed as an individual. While there was clearly a plan, the schedule flowed organically offering each man their time for processing whatever work needed to be done and the opportunity to be seen and heard fully.

The duration of the retreat offered us all time to work outside of the beautiful villa and explore the beauty of Morocco with incredible excursions taking the culture, the people, and the natural beauty of the land. In the villa, we were all treated as kings by the villa caretakers - I could do an entire separate review on the amazing culinary experience.

In short: I would absolutely recommend this experience to any man looking for a safe space to explore what work may be fitting to become better, not just how others may view you, but how you may view yourself. I would repeat this experience again, a million times.
