If you have refunded me as you say you have I’d like to see the proof as I can confirm I have not received a single penny off you and I’ve been waiting weeks and weeks now. It’s disgraceful that you think it’s appropriate to tell lies.
In addition I received a call from a male member of your team who asked me to remove my comments and that I could have my refund sooner rather than wait for the 6-8 weeks. It’s blackmail and intimidation.
AVOID Booked flights for myself and my daughter to fly to Abu Dhabi. The travel house advised me that the flights had been cancelled. I asked for a fill refund but they want £150 off me for alleged admin fees! And to add insult to injury I have now got to wait 6-8 weeks for a refund! Absolutely appalling customer service AVOID

You initially booked your flights with us via our website for travel from Manchester (MAN) to Abu Dhabi (AUH), including your return journey. Your booking was successfully processed, and your e-ticket was issued on the same day.
Approximately one month later, you requested to cancel your booking due to concerns related to the situation in the Middle East and sought a full refund. At the time of your request, there were no official guidelines or waivers issued by the airline that permitted refunds for such cancellations. As your ticket was purchased under a highly restricted promotional fare, it was subject to strict airline policies, and no refund would have been applicable at that stage.
Once the airline later issued updated guidelines allowing such cancellations, we promptly informed you. Following your confirmation, the cancellation was processed accordingly, and the airline approved the refund. The applicable amount was subsequently refunded to you.
We would also like to clarify the £75 administrative fee. This fee covers costs associated with ticket issuance, refund processing, payment handling, and other related administrative work. We aim to remain transparent regarding such charges, and this fee is clearly outlined in our website’s terms and conditions.
As your booking was made under a specially discounted fare, it was secured at a lower promotional rate compared to many other options available in the market. These fares are subject to specific airline conditions and often involve additional internal costs on our side. In cases where cancellations are requested after ticket issuance, we still incur expenses such as airline issuance charges, supplier fees, and payment processing costs. The administrative fee helps offset a portion of these costs, which is why it applies in such situations.
As outlined in the terms and conditions agreed to at the time of booking, any changes or cancellations requested after ticket issuance are subject to applicable administrative fees, which unfortunately cannot be waived.

Would never use again!!!
Booked a flight for my mother in law and paid using my husband's card. Apparently this flagged as suspicious and they cancelled the e-ticket. Very stressful experience and I was furious. Paid only £2 extra for same return flight with Trip.com. Very quickly received confirmation from airline and e-ticket. Much more reliable and stress-free experience. Personally, I would never go there again with Travel House! Never had this issue with another agency and I've booked plenty of flights. Also if Travel House respond to this- I will ignore as I couldn't care less what they have to say. This is just to help warn other customers!

Upon carefully reviewing your case, I can confirm that you initially made your booking through our website on 24 March. Your e-ticket was issued and sent to you on the same day. However, after the ticket was issued, the transaction was flagged by our Accounts Team as it appeared to be a third-party payment with no direct correlation to the passenger details. As part of our standard security and fraud-prevention protocols, such transactions are automatically reviewed and, if deemed unverified, are not processed further.
In your case, although an e-ticket was initially generated, the booking was subsequently cancelled once the payment was flagged during our internal checks.
As we do not hold customer funds once a transaction is flagged, the refund is initiated immediately by our Accounts Team, which I believe you have already received.
We understand your concern regarding the lack of prior communication, and we sincerely regret any inconvenience caused. However, in such cases, contacting the passenger is not part of our standard procedure, as these actions are taken promptly to safeguard customers and prevent potentially unauthorised transactions.
Once again, we apologise for the inconvenience caused and appreciate your understanding.
We also regret any disappointment caused and appreciate your understanding that airline-imposed fees and availability remain outside the agency’s control.
