I was skeptical but my Saint Laurent…
I was skeptical but my Saint Laurent sunglasses were too damaged to wear so I had nothing left to lose. There was a big scratch on one of the lenses. This was a brilliant service. They update you at every step and the sunglasses arrived back in great packaging and as good as new.

High quality products. On-time delivery, and great customer service.
The lenses I ordered were for a fairly rare model of glasses, and the whole for the screws was very slightly off which made assembly difficult. After i explained the issue, Sunglass fix produced another pair for me and sent it for free. This is customer care at its best ! Thank you !

HI Diego, sorry about that. Yes we ship all over the world and shipments to many places, especially africas and S. and Central Americas can take a long time. We are always trying our best to keep our service available to customers and monitor shipping times closely so we can set proper expectations.
However, Nothing we can do about the fact shipping does take a long time to some parts of the world and with wars and government customs changes throwing tariffs and duties and delays into the mix.

Hi Paul, I'm sorry to hear you got an email from us you didn't want. I can tell you we do not buy emails and only email our customers or those that reach out to us for help.
If we had your email, and the letter you received was from us, you would have been a cusotmer in the past that was subscribed to get updates.
At times, we do email people that have started the checkout but didn't complete it to see if we can help answer any questions for them.
Only other way i can think of that we'd email you is if you emailed us and we were responding to your question.
I would suggest you unsubscribe from whatever email you received. If it was from @thesunglassfix.com it will always give you that option.
I hope that helps. We do our best to reduce emails. Most are transactional in nature but we do like to keep in contact with our customers from time to time. However, only if they wish to hear from us.
I would ask you to please do double check the email, unsubscribe if it was from The Sunglass Fix. However, if it was not consider removing this review. Reviews like this are very harmful. Just wanted to say that the replacement lens for my Ray Ban Wayfarers arrived quickly and securely in London, UK.
Perfect fit, perfect clarity & maybe even better than the originals!
PS could not remove the lens myself - mostly due to lack of confidence I suspect.

Luis Vuitton lenses, better than New!!
After being told that my sunglasses were unable to be fixed, I turned to sunglass fix and they were able to recreate my lenses, install them and send them back to me promptly. I was very happy with this service. I highly recommend Sunglass Fix to anyone.

Cheap-feeling lenses but the only ones on the market.
First things first - these are cheap, plastic, replacement lenses that wouldn't feel out of place in those you'd find in a kids' fairground goody bag. That said, they fit perfectly, but I feel the majority of the cost is in the shiny website, nifty packaging, the "free" shipping (although it was quick - halfway around the world in less than 2 weeks), and the little branded bag they send you. And when nobody - not even Ray-Ban themselves - do replacement lenses for your particular model any more, then you have to balance the high cost vs low quality, against the price for an entire replacement pair of glasses. I paid the money, but only because I had no other choice if I wanted to keep using the frames I have (which are no-longer available carbon fibre frames). It does feel like a bit of a rip-off to those who's other options are very limited, unfortunately.

I'm sorry to hear you feel this way.
I can tell you without a doubt you are wrong. You may feel that way but in reality the lenses are high quality. I've been in the industry now for 20 years since I founded the company. I spent years making lenses, reasearching materials and know a lot about sunglass lenses.
Yes, they are a trivex type flexible lens. You can call if plastic as are 80% of the sunglass lenses on the market but it's a optically surperb material that is 1/3 the weight of glass and way safer than most other materials.
You'll find if you wear them for awhile that they have very clear optics, block all UV Rays, are tinted with high quality colours and mirrors, and are treated to prevent scratching and so the mirroring and tints last.
We take the quality serious and would probably change materials if we felt there was a better option. We don't.
Anyhow, we do have a 6 month return policy. Please feel free to return them. Yes, we have make a lot of lenses and may be the only choice for some rare models as we've been replacing the lenses the longest so have a large selection. However, we really don't want customers living with something they aren't entirely happy with.
Please reach out to our team at info@thesunglassfix.com.au or you can find product support on our website to get instructions for returning them for a full refund.
Again, I'm sorry they didn't meet your expectations. However, they are very good lenses if you give them a try. That's why we gaurantee them.
