The Ro Hotel is all about their precious bottom line!
My wife and I stayed here from June 9th-June 11th, in an old hotel with modern upgrades. We paid £350.80 for a two-night stay and they wanted an extra £330 to be paid upfront. Meaning they changed £680.80 for a weekend. We asked for an evening meal for around 6.00 pm and the desk said they were fully booked and the earliest was 8.00 pm, which we took. At 8.00 we waited 45 minutes to be served after they served 4 other guests who came in after us. Totally there were 6 people in the restaurant. The menu only had two selections to choose from and charged £70 for the meal without any drinks. The room was 28 deg C constantly and it was NOT Air Conditioned after the desk stated they were. It was extremely difficult to sleep, even with the windows open.
