Don’t waste your time and petrol!….

Several quite steep steps to the entrance but no ramp or rail to assist disabled or elderly customers… the place was clean but tired looking which can sometimes be overlooked if the food and service is excellent….however… in this case the food was good and well presented albeit a bit slow in delivery but the Customer Service from the waiting staff was chronic! We got the feeling that if you ate there all the time or lived locally that was different as the “local people “ were fawned over and called the staff by name!
We were asked if we wanted sauces. .. after being told that the meal we requested wasn’t available and “ you should have been told that when they seated you!” The vinegar I asked for arrived, slammed on the table halfway through my meal so no longer needed!
As did the coffee which was disgusting and in fairness they did take it off the bill! Needless to say we will not be going there again and would not recommend to anyone…leave it to the locals!!

No wheelchair accessible facilities

i went for lunch today (6/8/25) and was really shocked that there were NO FACILITIES FOR ANYONE IN A WHEELCHAIR! i was told that the loos were'nt big enough for a wheelchair, Access to the main area was really tough, good job the weather was good so being in the garden area was at least an option! although the sign on the gate in the carpark said disabled entrance, even that was tough as there was a pot hole and the raise threshold making entry difficult. an accessible gate is not enough to warrant accessibility. I accept it is an old building but I have been in older places that have made adaptations. On the plus side the food was good & the staff were friendly
