Had Sunday lunch at the Queens Inn today, there was 9 of us for a family birthday with ages ranging from 7 to 79. We all throughly enjoyed our lunches in this great pub with excellen t service. Will be going back.
First of all, thank you for the food.It was genuinely the best meal I have EVER had!
Firstly, I would like to talk about how lovely the waiter was, he showed kindness, competence and was very respectful.Secondly, the FOOD was something I could not even describe.For example, the spicy mushroom wings with ranch was definitely the best side dish I've had, the spiciness was perfectly complimented with the ranch and was overall amazing.The Matador Burger was delicious.The chicken and chorizo patties worked well with the cheese and the chips were very crispy.Finally, I would be honoured to work here when I am older and more experienced, mainly to work in the kitchen.Thank you so much!

I went out with 2 elderly ladies one of which was in a wheelchair aged 95 and decided to get some lunch. As soon as we got to the front door a lady opened both doors and got a ramp out for us.
We had a lovely lunch and the staff were delightful and very helpful. The food was absolutely wonderful and the creme brulee was divine. I would like to thank the staff for looking after us so well , I loved the interior decorations so homely. I certainly would recommend this lovely Inn and we will certainly be back.
The management of this restaurant should either be retrained or consider a new career. Their arrogance and rudeness is incredulous. I witnessed them telling people off for smoking outside? And telling people off for laughing too loudly? Lydia needs to remember it is customers that make a place successful. Having watched her rudely speak to other patrons, I did not want to say anything about the poor quality, luke warm, bland food that arrived after an hour and twenty minutes, but my partner did. Lydia was unapologetic, and told us if we didn't like it, we should go elsewhere. So we did. We went to the Great House and it was in a different league. I will not be going back to the Queens Inn until they change their management!
